This hotel employees is relay rude to the customers. when you not in the room they will come in your room touch your personal belongings and filming it. share to every workmate . when you check out if you have not cleaned the room your self they will let you pay for it. Because the hotel housekeeping they are PRINCE and PRINCESS they cant clean dirty or messy rooms. This hotel will Recording Video how you lived in the room. For your PERSONAL SAFETY , Don't stay at this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The front desk employee was extremely friendly and helpful. He was one of our favorite people we met on our entire 1 month long trip! Room was great too

Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Leider hat das Hotel generell einen etwas staubigen „abgegrabbelten“ Eindruck gemacht. Überall waren Macken und Abdrücke, was bestimmt unter anderem auch an den matten Farben von Wand, Boden etc. liegen kann. Unser Zimmer lag direkt an der Treppenhaus Tür, die jedes Mal zugedonnert ist. wir dachten zuerst, jemand will bei uns die Tür einbrechen. Nicht gerade entspannend! Das Schlafzimmer war in Ordnung und die Betten bequem. Leider keine Steckdose am Bett (außer die der Lampe) was etwas unpraktisch ist. Schrank hat viel Stauraum. Das Bad war leider nicht so in Ordnung. Wir hatten sowohl im Waschbecken als auch in der Dusche lange dunkle Haare kleben. Die Toilette spritzt überall hin beim spülen und die Dusche sieht echt eklig aus! Das Licht im Bad ist auch Katastrophe, außer man möchte eine OP dort vollziehen. Obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten, stand dies mit auf der Rechnung. Dies wurde allerdings schnell und unkompliziert gelöst. Wollte ich aber trotzdem erwähnt haben. Würde nicht nochmal kommen.

Main complaint was the lack of air-conditioning, could just be a European thing though. Room was perfect for what I needed, breakfast was a little lacking and I was tricked into paying 15 euro for some scrambled eggs. They were really good but hardly worth that much. Everything else was great, shower was really good, good size TV, each room has it's own private wifi connection and the location is pretty good for the price. Highly recommend this hotel, just watch out if they offer to cook you something and be prepared for no A/C.

Nice business hotel, with quite big rooms and nice service. The color of the room was dark but it was cozy and gave a feel of relaxation. The breakfast offering was quite limited but ok: eggs, different types of cured meats and cheeses, bread and croissant with some jams and Nutella. The conference room downstairs is quite big and is perfect to host some company events, even if the ceiling shows some signs of the age.

My wife and I stayed here for one night and it blew us away. The man at the front desk was extremely friendly and even made me confident in my broken German as he had to learn it coming from Croatia. The location is perfect and the room was spotless. The breakfast was very impressive, and also very fresh. The two ladies attending it seem to work very hard to keep it up and the options were great.

Wir haben im Midtown-Hotel die Nacht vor unserer Hochzeit verbracht und hierfür eine der Suiten gebucht. Das Personal hat uns sogar extra die beste Suite im obersten Geschoss mit Blick auf den Kölner Dom und die Kirche St. Gereon - in der wir kirchlich geheiratet haben - gegeben. Die Suiten weisen genügend Platz auf, sind sehr gemütlich und haben alles was man braucht. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch! Das Personal war super freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wir konnten bspw. mit dem Auto bis vor das Hotel fahren und wegen unserer Trauung auch etwas später auschecken. Die Lage ist natürlich super zentral, aber trotzdem halbwegs ruhig. Zum Frühstück können wir leider nichts sagen, da wir das nicht gebucht hatten. Einziger Minuspunkt aus unserer Sicht (was uns aber bewusst war): der Aufzug geht nicht bis in die obersten Stockwerke, hier muss die sehr enge Treppe genutzt werden. Alles in allem für die angebotenen Preise eine wirkliche Empfehlung! Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder!

It is a shame I cannot give this hotel 5* because many things were good. I thought the rooms were great - very quiet, in good conditions and the beds really comfy. The location is also great. The actual hotel itself I really couldn't find fault with. Unfortunately it loses marks as when we stayed there, there wasn't any staff after 3.30pm until the following morning. We had to self check-in using instructions sent to us (which worked OK but isn't the point) and we couldn't leave our bags the day afterwards, as the luggage rooms would be locked from 3.30pm. As a result we had to pay to store our bags in Köln Hbf. Effectively we got an Air BnB experience at hotel prices and I think this is pretty poor. Perhaps this was an isolated case (and I do understand and sympathise that staffing is difficult at the moment), but ultimately we paid for a service standard that we didn't really get, which is a shame.

I stayed at this hotel while on a work trip. I loved the rooms at the hotel and it seems great value for money. I would definitely return to this hotel privately. However, the breakfast buffet is not something I would repeat. For €18 it was a small selection and I repeatedly had to ask what things were as nothing was labelled (different types of yoghurt e.g.). Next time I’ll have breakfast in town. Also, there was a coffee set up right next to the breakfast entrance. After I did not find coffee in the breakfast room, I took a cup from there and immediately two employees snapped at me as this was NOT for breakfast. Which is fine, but they could have been a bit friendlier or, for instance, put up a sign that this is for conference guests.

Nice little basic hotel couple of things let it down which was a shame no tea/coffee making and the rooms where not sound proof which it definitely was not as one morning we woke to hear room near by showering shaving at 6 in the morning apart from that nice hotel value for money

Chices, zentral gelegenes Hotel. Nettes, freundliches Personal. Frühstücksbuffet war okay. Öffentliches Parkhaus eine Minute entfernt. (Tagesticket, 15 Euro, nicht teuer für Köln) Gerne wieder! :)

Super friendly stuff and very nice rooms. The location is close to the dome/ city Center and a lot of restaurants/ shops/ cafes aber near by.

Brand-new, lovely hotel very centrally located. The room was spotless and bed was super comfortable. The staff were very patient and accommodating during my stay. I will definitely stay at The Midtown again!

A stunning hotel with beautiful rooms (particularly their antique beds). Staff have been friendly and helpful throughout as well.

Excellent experience and a very courteous staff, speaks English. Well equipped rooms and has a decent reetaursnt offering breakfast n lunch n dinner. Not very spacious overall. Meeting rooms and board rooms were very adequate for a group size of 40+ people. Very accessible from Cologne central station and there is a big Turkish Mosque jus 12 minutes walk away.

Service was exceptional!! Igor at the front desk went out of his way to make sure our group of 22 was well taken care of. My Room was great all around, some others said theirs were too warm without air conditioning. All around, very highly recommended!!!

Great place, very friendly and helpful staff. We had such a nice time with our 17 months old daughter. I can gladly recommended if you are travelling with a baby/toddler. Breakfast includes variety of tasty and fresh options. And location is quite good too.
