Very wide range of products, including building material. Very good prices. Good service. Most of the time service is pretty good, but on some (a very few) occasions, the employee I needed was of-duty. Good news of that do care about their employees! Bad news: in one case, I had to go to the woodworking department to her material from the metalwork department. Took a bit longer - order was ready on the next day. Result was perfect, as usual.

Nice big shop lots off materials

It's a bit pricey German chain with quality products and a lot of selection in one place. A while back the associates used to be extremely useless, gathering up for their grape-vines or something, now they appear to have gone through some more customer care training in re: of recognizing unsure customers etc., but also suggesting too many unnecessary things to buy things you didn't intend on buying.

My favorite hardware store in koln, giant variety of tools and materials, I go there before every project to make a possibility research. Strongly recommend.

Was looking for small chairs for gamescom and backpack. Dis not find. They had bigger portable chairs for camping which would not be very comfortable to carry.

The Bauhaus in Kalk ist nice and big. It has an enormous variety oft products, which sometimes you can not get in other Bauhaus-makets. Sadly they did not have, what I was looking for, although their Internet page said, that they did. It would be nice, if they offer you, to check online, that the things are also really available in your local store....next time, I will reserve stuff, before I go there.

Service is miserable, avoid expecting customer service, personal is only trained to avoid questions.

Helpful employees, even to non-german speakers

It's a great store with lots of materials for those looking for them. It's a huge store that you can easily get lost in, but that adds to the fun of it.

Employees are not available most of the time to attend to your questions. Mostly non motivated employees. Just because we get everything there I have still given it 2 stars.
