This
venue
had
a
weird
way
of
letting
people
in.
Only
guests
with
hard
tickets
were
allowed
inside
initially.
Everyone
with
a
"print-at-home"
ticket
was
forced
to
wait
outside.
I
got
there
early
(about
0.5h
before
the
doors
opened)
and
still
missed
a
good
part
of
the
opening
act,
because
we
were
left
waiting
outside.
Staff
was
unfriendly
and
did
not
explain
what
was
happening,
and
why.
The
venue
itself
was
way
too
small
for
the
amount
of
people
they
let
in.
I
highly
doubt
it
was
safe.
Since
the
ceiling
is
pretty
low,
the
stage
had
to
be
aswell.
Result?
If
you
don't
stand
in
the
front
row
you
can't
see
anything.
I
understand
a
small
venue
makes
the
most
of
its
profit
out
of
the
liquor
sales,
but
the
prices
were
just
ridiculously
high.
I
left
early
since
I
didn't
felt
comfortable
because
of
the
crammed
feeling,
the
non
existent
stage
view
and
the
attitude
of
the
staff.
This
was
by
far
the
worst
music
venue
I've
ever
visited
in
Cologne.
E-werk,
the
Gloria,
Live
Music
Hall
or
KulturKirche
are
all
way
better
than
Luxor,
though
I
can
imagine
it
being
a
fun
place
for
parties
and
stuff,
but
it
just
didn't
work
as
a
live
music
venue
for
me.
