The whole mountain has fallen on the lookout and it is inaccessible for the rest of 2019. Don’t add to your itinerary!

(Translated by Google) Was this place about the 1760s? It is an old battlefield. Parking lot parking car stop, even chicken is spent freely. Walk a gentle slope a few minutes .. Standing in front of a scenic cliff .. On the left the highest peak is 960m Koolau Mountains Koaulau means ~ in the HAWA II word .. The clear sea behind the left hand is the sea of heaven .. Sons are fond of. The front is the sea .. and the bottom is the cliff .. Most of the days when the wind blowing from the valley is strongly blowing .. You can admire the view from the highest grade to the sea of heaven far away. In 1778, Captain Cook flew to Hawaii and was a brave fight ※ Of course, many people thought that he was the next king. It's a great deal from Waikiki Beach It's not like a comparable golf course It's a golf course you'd like to miss- Looking at the lower right, .. what a tunnel .. a tunnel .. fence is not able to go. Because the old battlefield .. King Kamehameha won. Unify Hawaii When the kingdom formation 🌟 "the most peaceful world in the world" was created .. When work on the Paris Road, located under the Nuuanupari Cliffs in 1897, took place. It is said that about 800 skulls have been excavated. If you feel that you can understand .. The sky in this place is clear but there is a lot of cloudiness ~ It is the place where Kamehameha became a great king. If it was done like that, I threw myself from this cliff. Because it is a strong wind, it has fallen to the edge even with that wind .. I just just put my hands together. m (_ _) m 😨 History was Nuanne Paris According to Paris, the view from here is similar to the landscape in Paris according to the viewer. As for the photo, I stopped taking pictures here. The Nuʻuanu Pali State Wayside is a lookout above the tunnels where there is a panoramic view of the Oʻahu's windward side with views of Kāneʻohe, Kāneʻohe Bay, and Kailua. It is also well known for strong trade winds that blow through the pass (now bypassed by the Nuʻuanu Pali Tunnels).

I would definitely recommend the waterfall hikes if you can make it or at the very least check out the turnoffs on the H1/H2. Very windy however, so watch you hat.

Is is a very cool place to look out over the valley. It is a historical place in Hawaiian history, as you can read the story in the picture below. It tends to be windy here and beware of the bees ( I am allergic to them). You can get to the point from either direction you are traveling on the main road. You do need to pay to park and probably will have to use your phone & qr code, as the machines were not in service.

Very neat experience to travel up the mountain and experience the beautiful terrain, tunnels and twist and curves to the summit. It's a little tricky and mysterious getting to it and you can easily miss it. Be wary of fast moving local traffic as you navigate the journey and be ready to make a quick exit at the top. The wind that funnels up the valley normally blows extremely hard and you will find yourself leaning into the wind as you make your way to the lookout. The stunning view makes it all worthwhile and it should be on your to do list if you really want to see the gorgeous valley overlooking the city the miles of beach and a wonderful view of the pacific. There is a small parking fee of around 3 bucks, and well worth it. We had to make a second trip to the lookout before we left the island and it was just as enjoyable the second time. Gorgeous!

The views from this spot should not be missed! Every time we visit Oahu we make sure to visit the Nu'uanu Pali Wayside. It has really lovely views/vistas. A few things to know...There is a small "use fee" for parking in their lot, and this is really the only way to visit. But I never mind paying fees like this if it means I'm supporting beautiful locations like this.

Wear a sweater and/or a windbreaker when visiting. Use a wrist strap with whatever image capturing device you use because the gusts are strong enough to knock it out of your hands.

(Translated by Google) It is an observatory with a magnificent view. As you explained, we recommend when the weather is clear and windy. For car rental, the parking lot will be charged. I believed that this striking cliff has always been due to erosion, but originally the thing which the mountain had collapsed broke down to the other side of the sea and the earth and sand was avalanche, it seems there is a history that caused a huge tsunami.

This place has a nice view of the island. When I went to the parking space was limited and the weather was super windy but if you were still amazing. A short drive from both Honolulu and Kailua side. It is very easy to find.

The views were well worth the $3 parking fee. It was interesting to read the history of the pathway too. It's a must stop if you're driving by you won't be able to get that photo from your car. There are wild chickens there too!

Beautiful lookout. There weren't many crowds there when we visited (during lunchtime) but crowds started to pile in afterwords. The views from here are amazing, so definitely take the time to stop in. Just be on the lookout for the parking lady who barks at everyone to show them their parking ticket or proof of payment. It's a $7 parking fee, don't miss it!

Gorgeous views and a must see on the island because of the history. Beware of wearing dresses... hard to take pictures when your trying to hold your dress down ;) extreme winds, not even kidding. I’m pretty sure that is the vortex of the island and you could possibly be sucked out at anytime haha

First off, you really have to pay attention on how to get here. It's after the bridge but go further down and take the 1st exit where it says pali lookout. A good place to visit for a lookout and take pictures. You have to pay for parking but it's worth it since you get a scenic view of Hawaii. Shoes aren't required since it's a very very short walk from the parking lot. You might even run into some chicken and roosters on you way. Definitely a must stop for tourist.

Always a nice place to setup when you're on the Pali. Came here on my birthday and it was pretty spooky so early in the morning... Usually you're greeted with an immediate buffer of intense wind rush at you that you feel you could be blown away... That morning it was as still as death, and looming in the air were thick, cold tufts of mist hanging in the air. It was so surreal! I came here just a couple weeks earlier than that and it was pouring like mad. You couldn't see around you because of all the rain. Both times, this place was so empty. Nobody there. So, so, so weird and creepy, but it was worth the visit.

    - Duration of trail: <5 mins - Price: $7 (Parking) - Sightseeing point with easy access. Would recommend to stop if you pass by, wouldn’t recommend to make it a “destination”. - Notes: really windy.

Beautiful, but extremely windy that day, had to hold on to each other. My 1st time in Hawaii. The $7.00 for only 20 mins was alittle to much. Should have a coin meter and go by 15 min increments.

Its a bit foggy when we went here but still enjoyed the view. I love it! Awesome view. My eyes were full. Agreed to other review $7 parking is somehow overkill. Im wondering why they cant charge per hour?

There is parking. To all who has children/toddlers and this is from someone who grew up on this island and was taught this about age 4 " never go up into the wind, for the wind God will left you up into the valley and we'll never see you again ". There's a wall which blocks you from the edge of the mountain. By putting your lite weight child on top of it without holding them back and as Strong as the wind is they can fall down/over. For what ever reason you choose to not or hold them tightly and they ask why, again the wind is Strong. First take the time to read the history of the view of long ago which was filled with such beauty which was pleasing to the wind. But as time went by the view started to change. Although the view may have changed just a little the valley stayed as beautiful as ever. Sadly the wind God was not pleased, and as you reach up and into her view she'll get angry and sweep you away. So I've been told, it's been shared though out many of us. Share this story with your child as you hold them tight, they will come to understand why. Aloha from my family to yours.

Amazing view. Pretty drive on the way. Definitely worth checking out. Is just a quick stop off the side of the road part of a relaxing drive. There are some trails that start in the area but should definitely look into the trails before just doing a random one and be prepared with water ECT.

(Translated by Google) I think that it is a place to go if the weather is nice. However, the weather is not so good, I think that it is lucky if it clears up. Although the weather is bad, the scenery opened, the distant ocean is lush and beautiful, but not much ,,, Halved emotion. Because it is soon from the parking lot, I think that you can stop by when you have plenty of time.
