Very quiet water, not too deep, not crowded. This beach is not have handicap access, as parking is far, you need to walk some. The park behind the beach has benches, bathrooms and is nice overall.

A great beach. You can get lots of good pics there. And it’s a good place to see sunset as well.

Safe beach the Kiki. Just watch the coral and rocks in spots it can be tough on your feet. Wear swim socks and take sunscreen. Parking is usually easy except on weekends when everyone does picnics and bbq in the park.

Great little part of the Ala Moana Park that extends out into the ocean. This lagoon is the best part of the park. On a calm sunny day this place is great to relax. It's not where near as Crowded as Waikiki beach and the sea walls make the water calm which is ideal for children. The sand towards the water is a lot more fine than toward the path which is a bit rocky.

Ala Moana Beach is conveniently located in the town and great for kids, families and elderly people, because there is no big waves. If you want to explore the Island and see some of the most beautiful beaches, go to the north side, visit the Lanikai beach, Sharks cove and Turtle beach. ALOHA! Hawaii was more then a dream come true for me. I'm very grateful to visit one of the most beautiful places in the world. Take some nice photos because they are good to keep as reminders, but impressions make beautiful memories that last a life time. Be mindful in Hawaii, feel the local vibe and don't let anything to spoil your Vacation 🙌 Love, Peace, and Compassion, Aloha to you!

Great beach 🏝️. Beautiful view of Diamond head. Plenty of trails for walking 🚶. Bathrooms and outdoor showers 🚿 to get the sand off. I enjoyed it much more than Waikiki.

Beautiful views, clean park with lots of room to walk and a safe place for small children to swim. The cove is protected by barriers.

Beautiful beach! There are people around and even some people scuba diving but not too busy & loud compared to other beaches! Bring some goggles or even a snorkel, I got to see some fish close to the shore! Definitely go on a sunny day to experience the clear water!

I highly recommend visiting the beaches and parks around this area. It was a fantastic experience to really see what Honolulu has to offer. Lots of people enjoying the park by riding bikes, running, rollerblading and a we saw a couple get married there!

Personally, I prefer Ala Moana Beach because it's so beautiful, there are fewer people than Waikiki, and the sunset is so beautiful!

It's a good park for rest or for relaxing or to work out. Nice view on yacht ⛵ or do fishing. Also, you can try scuba diving 🤿. A lot of people are just running or talking about some classes

Plenty of FREE parking and you can be in the ocean without being in the ocean. Sand is nice without too many rocks and not as crowded as the other Waikiki beaches.

Great park and beach. Need to bring your own umbrella for shade or have lots of sunscreen. The water is wonderful without large waves. Perfect for kids. Should go early in the morning to get parking. Bring drinks, food or snacks. Bathrooms are there however not the cleanest but they are there. Also out door shower to rinse off the salt water before you leave.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to this park. We arrived about 7:00 p.m. on a Friday which is about an hour before the weekly fireworks display from the Hilton. There were many groups set up throughout the grassy areas with families having picnics and barbecues and just having fun together. This was such a great thing to see and we assume it's something that happens every week. It spoke to us. It makes us realize that we should be setting time aside just for family whether we are spending it playing games, at the park, or whatever. If I lived here, I would want to come out here every week to join all of the positive experiences that are happening here.

A nice calm park with access to the beach and water that seems to be a great location for you to do scuba diving practice or maybe some snorkeling if there's anything in there. There are quite a number of picnic or barbecue stations with assigned numbers so I'm not sure if there is any reservation required or do you just attend and utilize them. I thought that I could Walk around the pool of water based on the Google Map setting. As I approached the water, it seems like the Walkway is not connected as u can see in the picture. I record seeing a no dog-allowed signage when I enter the Park area. however, I also saw people walking the dog in this park so I'm not sure which is more accurate.

We eloped to Hawaii and had the perfect wedding here on Memorial Day Weekend… along with two other weddings. Sunset on Magic Island where Ala Moana Beach is located is perfect.

So much nicer and quieter than waikiki. Nice mix of tourists, locals, paddle boarders, surfers, joggers and picnicking. Quite a bit of homelessness going on. Plenty of parking available, also at magic island.

Walking distance from Ala Moana Shopping Centre, next to a lovely park. Empty beach with clean sand and water.

why are there so many dogs on the beaches? Does salt water help get rid of fleas? your dogs shouldn't be a problem for other people. I thought these were beaches for people.

I see so many random cats. But perfect spot to swimming. And very big nature environment swimming pool. Great to see!

Not much to see. Mostly a beach to relax at and not snorkel or do water activities at.
