👍 Cool beach for body boarding, a lot of debris in the water in November. Like, plant matter, pieces if small wood, twigs and stuff. Scenic and a good beach to hang out on. I liked it - good photography opportunities here. People often mention beach, waves,

Now this was a pretty impressive beach! Would have been five stars but no place to change clothes so plan ahead. There was a place to rinse off though. Some nice shady places to set up for the afternoon and the ocean floor was smooth.

My dad took me here when I was 13. I was pretty good on a body board so I was extremely excited to try it out. Nope, I only lasted 20 minutes. That was the biggest beat down I've ever had in the ocean. The waves weren't overly big, they just came really fast and frequent. It is a very beautiful beach, and we were the only ones there which was suprising. Even though I was beat up I had a blast.

Gorgeous beach with beautiful sand, huge waves (we visited end of April), warm water, beautiful mountain views, and a parking lot. Felt like I was visiting a PC screensaver photo location. So glad we stopped.

The waves are significant here in the summer. Kids had hard time swimming here. The place is beautiful otherwise, a bit less crowded and feels more natural than some of the more touristy beaches.

We went for a quick stop at Pounder’s Beach aka Laie Beach Park or vice versa. It was another wild beach we visited during the winter months. It’s only a couple minutes drive from the Polynesian Cultural Centre in Laie (check Pounder’s Restaurant for a great pizza) on the eastern part of the island. The park was pretty empty during our visit and it was also quite windy with big waves…perfect conditions for the wave riders! Too bad the weather wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the water but just being at the beach was fun for us.

Great beach with amazing views! Parking is free and the beach was pretty empty. Waves can get pretty rough, but we had a good time!

This beach is wildly underrated. It’s not a great beach for traditional surfing, but it’s probably the best beach on the island for body surfing and body boarding. It’s also a great place to hang out in the water. Once in a blue moon you can snorkel here but for 99% of days you cannot. There are some cliffs here to walk up on as well. This beach is right along Kam highway so it’s really easy to make a stop here.

Great little beach. Stopped by here a few times. Never really busy. Good for swimming and families. Just note no public restroom or changing area.

👍👍 Seriously some of the best snorkeling 🤿 on the island. If you have a friend with a military ID make them take you here. Literally every time I have gone I have seen at least one 🐢 while in the water. The beach can be crowded because it's kind of small but the water isn't because there is so much...

👍👍 NORTH BEACH AND PYRAMID ROCK SURF BREAK INFO: Great beach on MCBH. North Beach is the eastern most beach, and Pyramid Rock is the western side. It's about a mile between the two spots. These two spots house arguably the best surf breaks on the windward side of the island. Pyramid is a rocky outcro...

👍👍 Easily one of the prettiest beaches on the island. It is so peaceful here and clean! Fair warning, at the end of the trail when you get to the beach, go left if you plan on keeping some clothes on. Going right will lead you to nude sunbathers.
