Super chill beach spot on the North Shore of Oahu. Lots of sand, some rocks with crabs crawling in and out of the water, there is a play structure for kids, and some basketball courts to play/skateboard around on. Cool thing, this beach isn’t that far from North Shore shopping. Do some shopping, grab some food, and chill on the beach for awhile. This location is great for enjoying island time!

Parking close, water is good to swim in, but be careful of the reef. Views are fantastic of surfing, paddling, and boats passing by, and best at sunset time.

Overall had a sensational time in North Shore Oahu. The islands of Hawaii. Very beautiful beaches. Especially alongside the coast of the North Shore.

Haleʻiwa Town & beach, Oahu Hawaii Haleʻiwa is a historic town on Oahu’s North Shore. Worth a visit as is the nearby beach. The popular restaurant there is Joe’s Seafood. Don’t forget to get a photo at the town sign as you drive in and visit Kamehameha Highway Bridge. #NorthShoreOahu #Haleiwa

We rented a boat and went out whale watching for my birthday and we got lucky and seen a few on the way back it was a blast everyone was very professional, helpful and polite. I can't wait to have a chance to go back out on it again. It was located out on the north shore and we rode out on the blue Marlin. Thr captain was so awesome and made our trip so much fun. If you have some extra time and are looking for some activities to do around the island look it up or let me know and I can see if I can get more information for you. I hope this helps you out and I hope you have a great day.

It was a Beautiful Sunset. And there was a couple sea turtles Popping their head out of the water every so often. It’s one of the many relaxing beaches to go to on Oahu!!

Enjoyed this beach! Snorkeled with some turtles here. Though the waves are a bit stronger than turtle beach it was nice. The left side of the beach doesn’t have much to see when I comes to snorkeling but it is a great swimming beach.

Very scenic beach, I stopped by 3x during my trip. Saw an endangered Monk Seal on the rocks. Beach is rocky, not sandy, there were kayakers and a boat harbor nearby. Ample parking and restrooms.

What great beach to just chill out on. Saw a lot of sea life, from turtles to sharks (later in the evening). Cane back here Friday night to see how the fishing was - few bites, but nothing significant. All in all, a great place during the day!

Beautiful beach great for relaxing on the beach or in the calm waters. Beach is rocky and there are plenty of rocks and reefs in water to be aware of. Parking was free and there was plenty of open spots in the lot and on the beach. Does have public bathrooms but they were not in the greatest of shapes!

    Chill and Relaxing 😎

Great surf spot if you go down the road a little past all the main parking lot. Double check the tide and surf reports before going out make sure its going from low tide to high tide to have the best results. Be cautious of wild life there's tons of different types in the reef and in the tide pools. The sea turtles do surf the waves with you to, but they are trying to get to the seaweed growing on the shore rocks.

Not too much here as a park, but given it's right at the edge of town (almost in town), the location is superb.

  • 5/5 Tony L. 3 years ago on Google
Grab some food and head down here to take in the view. Also a great place for the more beginning surfer to take lessons and give it a go. Gorgeous!!

Met some solid people in the park that I now can say are friends of mine. Witnessed over a 1,000 sunsets within 5 years, each one of them different. Natural art at its finest.

Beautiful beach in north shore. Lots of turtles close to shore. Remember not to touch sealife.

  • 5/5 Erika D. 10 months ago on Google
My family and I love coming here. There's plenty of parking. Easy walk down to the beach. Always plenty of room to sit. This is a great place to watch the sunset. Usually in the evenings the sea turtles will come feed close to the shore.

Fun to watch the waves and the sunset. Places to hike. We didn't choose to swim.

  • 5/5 Robert Van S. 8 months ago on Google
The park is nice. The shower and changing room is acceptable and welcomed. We swam with 3 turtles, which was fascinating. Just beware of the typical rocky floor in the ocean.

Located in North Shore. A very expansive area with beaches, playgrounds, picnic area with benches. Decent parking spaces, restrooms, shower fountains. In August, the beach is pretty calm, swimmable with gradual sand slope, some beach goers bring beachchairs or laydown for a tan. Area near ocean is not shaded. Not very crowded.

As part of my 2016 trip. Seeing the North shore, you experienced a different type of beauty.

The most chil surf town I've ever visited! This life changing small town of Hale'iwa on the North Shore pulled my anxieties and worries away and released them into the trade winds. Thank you Hale'iwa for your gracious peacefulness.

Great views from the northernmost point you can drive on the west coast of Oahu.

Nice park on north shore, has a jetty so there is some calmer water in winter. Anahulu river is near by to SUP or kayak. Decent surf out past the jetties.

  • 4/5 Charles B. 3 years ago on Google
I enjoy buying food and drinks in Hale’iwa and coming over to the beach park for a picnic. It’s a great way to get away from the crowds, parking is way easier to deal with and if you don’t like dealing with the sand in the beach area the north end of the park has grassy areas, large trees with picnic tables. There is a public restroom which also makes this stop convenient. I gave the park a four because of the beach which by Hawaii bench marks is OK but doesn’t compete with about a dozen of our better beaches.

One of my favorite places. You cannot find a better place for kids to play and to just spend your entire day. Shallow water and small waves make it an awesome place to teach kids surfing. When there rent a kayak or paddleboard and take it up the river. It is wonderful.

Pretty nice beach on the North shore of Hawaii. You'll see a lot of people fishing, surfing, and hanging out in/around their cars by the beach listening to music, grilling out w/their own portable grilling station, etc.

  • 3/5 Howard H. 3 years ago on Google
Park is nice but beach erosion is bad and seawall is failing due to ocean waves.

  • 5/5 Hugo N. 3 years ago on Google

This beach has everything thou can imagine a beach should have. There are plenty of restaurants nearby & even a road bridge you can jump off of! Parking is not an issue.

I was blown away by the sweet Brazilian lady with the best shaved ice on this planet. I will always remember that shaved ice as the taste of my first trip to Hawaii. Best of luck to her and her husband and there little dig too. Thank you so much.a

👍👍 A regional park beach. Not crowded. Turtles tend to enjoy their swimming there. Not many fish since coral reefs are limited The waves are big, so stay safe. Please respect the law and nature and keep a safe distance from the turtles.
