Ate here by myself. I ordered the teri beef plate. 😋 it was a lot! Especially for one person. The meat was marinated perfectly, it wasn't as tender as I expected, but still ono! I didn't have enough Kim chee, but I guess the meat portions compensated for that? Regardless, I'd go back! (I missed the lunch special, so I paid regular price)

Came in randomly and was very happy w the food, prices and service. Thanks. All this goodness and more for $23!!!! Enough for 2 big guys. Had lots of good food in Oahu but this is by far the freshest and most tasty for the little price. Amazing service too.

Not the best Korean one can buy on island. My chicken was charred and tasted like it. My sides were small and bland. The best thing on my plate was the beef and the rice. Not highly recommended.

Idk if these are the same recipes as the other Kim Chees. Good value. The fried rice is... Different. Not quite Korean, cheap beef, and greasy. The BBQ platter was pretty good, except the chicken didn't have much flavor. Only received 2 kinds of kim chee. Place was mostly clean. A little run down and the parking is terrible.

We like coming here. Always friendly customer service. I really like that they serve seaweed soup along with their banchan. We always have to get some cold tofu and fried mandoo with our order. Meat jun is always one of our entrees that we get.

As recommended, fantastic Kalbi beef! Daughter appreciated the pork jun, wife and I enjoyed the BBQ chicken, and wife loved and exulted over the tempura shrimp. Plenty of white rice to accompany the meats, and the kimchi was tasty - "fresh" - two kinds provided - daikon and cabbage. My wife, not a kimchi fan, was loving the kimchi and her lunch plate special. No wonder Kim Chee 1 was so highly recommended.

I love Korean BBQ. Kim Chee 1 does an amazing job. Food is flavorful, generous, and an amazing value. The staff is friendly and helpful do yourself a favor and step in anytime. 2 days later I returned to partake in their breakfast offerings. Again a great value with generous portions. The staff is amazing prompt efficient, friendly, and eager to please. Stop in for any meal, it's worth it.

It's very delicious, but the rough kitchen service... I think it's better not to order the same thing here. When I ordered two Yukgaejang, all the noodles were in my container, and my wife's container had none 😅　I called the store and they told me that such things happen...🤣 When ordering the same thing, it is better to tell them that they should be divided equally🤣🤣

Dropped in for lunch. They had a fantastic special with two meats, rice, veggies, kimchi and soup. Really nice staff. Full of locals. Would highly recommend.

The worst meal I have had from this place. The kal-bi is around $35.00. It was overcooked and tough. The meat juhn was overcooked as well. It was dry and hard. I don't think I will be eating there for awhile.

So I started coming here back in intermediate school after that I started bringing my high school sweetheart here for dates, lunch ,and usually special occasions. Amazing family owned and operated business. When I think local Korean, with classics like meat jun, fried shrimp tempura, bbq chicken, and beef kalbi. Forget about it. Order the family meal best of all worlds.

I love eating here, even though it looks shady and quite expensive, I love it. I recommend the "Butter fish" because it just tastes delicious. Secondly, I personally love their seaweed soup. I'm not joking about the price, get ready to pay 100+ dollars depending on what you get.
