Surprisingly bad. One of only two brunch spots I’ve heard about on the windward side. Been waiting a year to eat here but the waits are always long. After an hour long wait, we had the signature guava and pistachio pancakes. They were not good. Overly sweet, nothing great about the taste, pistachio didn’t taste like pistachio at all. The coffee cake was super mediocre. Even the hash browns were soggy/mushy with only a very lightly crispy outside. Didn’t even have normal half and half creamer to go with the very normal black tea and coffee. We didn’t finish anything, even the pastry, and I almost never fail to finish my food, especially pastries. Didn’t take left overs either. Just really surprisingly bad. But maybe their savory options are better? The hash browns don’t give me much hope. Also spraying atomized cleaner on the tables—not really thrilled about breathing that in. Sitting here waiting for them to offer a check. Just hope this saves someone the trip.

This restaurant was amazing. It was an hour wait but it was worth it. (5/5) definitely recommend to anyone that comes to Hawaii. No matter where you stay, it’s worth the drive. The service by Ara was amazing as well. She went above and beyond for us and gave lots of recommendations. I would definitely come back. I’d recommend having a conversation with your waiter/server and getting recommendations from there. If you’re from out of town, don’t order food that you can order from home.

Eggs benedict is my fave along with the hash browns. Got the pistachio pancakes but would recommend the guava ones ahead of these. Over all delish. Seemed understaffed and had to keep stopping people to get water or sauce. Waitress was very nice.

Efficient assessment of wait times. The crew here is experienced and the cooks are hungry-quick. Homemade corned beef hash and the velvet pancakes are my choice. Make the trip if your on Oahu. Price is about right and you'll leave full and satisfied.

Came here on a Monday (TBH, since Over Easy is closed on Mondays) and wanted to give another breakfast place a go. Probably waited between 15-20 minutes to be seated. Pros: Our server was friendly and prompt, the food was served quickly, all food choices were cooked to order, option to dine inside or outside, clean establishment, and some menu items were unique to this restaurant. Cons: portions were smaller than other places when comparing prices per plate, bathroom is located outside the restaurant, protein portions of each dish was skimpy compared to other breakfast places, and the coffee was hot but taste was just okay. This is a popular establishment and I can see why. So, this is just my 2 cents...but my overall experience was mediocre at best.

Nice and cozy brunch spot. Moe Moe loco mock was mid. Kalbi loco moco was way better. Definitely recommend that. Crab cake eggs Benedict was yummy. Guava and red velvet were delicious but guava was a tad better.

Horrible service. I realize Covid has rules but this place was insane. Our 3rd was 5min away, they wouldn't seat us till he arrived. Allowing a good 20+ people to then be seated in front of us. Restaurant was freezing on a cold on windy stormy day. So when we got seated we had to sit outside where it warmer. Masks have to remain on until your food arrives. Despite tables 10' apart. While I full respect Covid rules this was over the top. Food is ok, but not worth it while this stuff is going on. There is plenty of amazing breakfast places in Kailua that treat you with dignity.

Unimpressed. Host staff were rude and dismissive (server pleasant but nothing special). Food is mediocre at best— basically a little better than cafeteria food but way overpriced. Hash browns burnt on one side uncooked and mush on the other, home fries tasteless and stale, salsa little more than generic with beans and corn, bacon tasted pre-cooked/microwaved, most food tasted pre-packaged or from Costco. For a place so highly recommended it was not worth it.

What a disaster, this place. I’m confused how people are still lining up to eat here. The service is awful, the food is awful, and the atmosphere is awful. Our waitress was very sweet and we had no problem with her, but the girls working the front desk were rude and unhelpful. We sat by the bench and waited a while for our table. We noticed several tables had already opened up and wondered why they were not calling us and finally went up to ask about it. One of the employees rudely responded saying “I don’t know” and when we specified the name on the waitlist she reluctantly led us to the table. I’m not sure why nobody told us our table was ready when we had been sitting right in front of them for half an hour. I don’t even know what to say for the food. My boyfriend ordered some omelette with a side of bacon and they charged us $9 for a small side of bacon. They also don’t seem to know how to cook an omelette. If you’re looking to eat pancakes, you’ll find the same quality of pancakes in iHop so you’re better off going there instead. The tables were dirty, there were cobwebs everywhere and dead bugs on the table. This isn’t as big of a deal but compounded with the poor service and sad breakfast, you should save yourself the wait and money and eat somewhere else.

You must eat here! Cinnamon's is a quintessential staple to the island when it comes to delicious food. They are very popular and well hidden. Locals know whatsup! I love having brunch here, as they offer many options for breakfast and lunch. If you're lucky enough to be around on St. Patrick's Day, they offer pistachio pancakes, and they are unbelievable! Check 'em out!

Crab cake Benedict was BOMB. 5/5 Korean Omelet had too many flavors going on, the kimchi was competing with the chicken and the eggs got overwhelmed. 1/5 Coffee was pretty good 3/5 Good ambiance. 4/5

Very nice employees. The wait list was about 30 min. Great breakfast food. I got the Korean omelet and it was good which tasted like a egg roll which I liked. The pancakes are big and fluffy. Bacon was crispy. I split meal and was full. Bring quarters for parking.

My family and I we're super excited to go to Cinnmon's Restaurant, it was our very first time. Our waitress Michelle was amazing and super sweet. We could tell she loved working there. I would highly recommend going there. Food was also amazing. I loved their Florentine Eggs Benedict and their buttermilk guava pancakes it was so delicious 😋.

Very good breakfast food! Had the kalua pork and crab cake eggs benedicts, pistachio and blueberry pancakes. Huge portions so I would recommend sharing or order the half instead of the full portions. Their menus are digital and they have very friendly staff!

DO NOT GO HERE WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY! They are closed for dine-in and only offer take-out and do not advertise that. Really frustrating seeing four different workers sitting and eating inside while we are waiting for an order taker to come to the door to get the long line moving for take out... Gave it a second chance today on a Friday, and it was an alright experience. They are very covid prone and require a vax card and temp you before entering. Mind you the prior day the eating workers had been eating with their gloves on. Food was great, red velvet pancakes were very sweet and delectable. The atomized table cleaners were a mood killer and were sprayed really close to us as we ate. Ordered large drinks and it was the same size as water cups, so I'm not sure what regular drinks would even look like... Overall was meh, would only come back for the red velvet pancakes.

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed! The food was excellent and hit the spot. I ordered the salmon lox eggs Benedict and everything about it was quite surprising and delicious. Highly recommend coming here

Great job taking temp and distancing. Their procedures made me feel more comfortable The Kalua Pig Benedict was sum ono.

  • 4/5 Rachael K. 1 year ago on Google
Cute place but the menu needs some work. We all ordered short stacks of pancakes which on the menu looked like they were the same price but apparently weren't when we got the bill. I loved the fresh ginger tea and they give you a little tea pot with more in it. The red velvet & cinnamon apple pancakes were probably the best. My carrot cake pancakes were like dry spice pancakes with dry shredded carrot on top lol. I don't recommend taking it to-go on a plate with tin foil but that's just my preference because all the sauce & toppings stick to the foil.

The food and atmosphere are awesome here. Seating takes a bit. Service was top notch. Food amazing. Omelettes cinnamon rolls and pancakes are good.

It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been back here. It is still as great as we remembered it. Food, service, and the place it self. We always get their Guava Chiffon pancakes, but the runner up for us is their pistachio pancakes. Mahalo uncle for sharing the Pistachio pancakes cause now we have to get 2 different flavors next time we come back into town.

We waited for a table; it was worth it. I liked the outdoor seating (tables) and atmosphere. The food was ono (delicious); I had the Hawaiian omelet, which was huge, but I was hungry and devoured it! Our waitress was super 👍🏿.

We love bringing our family here. Everything is so delicious, especially the eggs benedict. Crab cakes were my favorite. Only down side is the long wait- 30 minutes.

  • 4/5 Seb L. 1 year ago on Google
Ordered online and drove to pick it up. It was ready on time, perhaps even faster than anticipated since the cinnamon roll itself felt a little sad and dry. The rest of the food was pretty good, and service was fast and efficient. If I was to eat it again, I would likely dine in rather than take it out.

It's always nice to come here. Such good food to choose from. Service is always good. This time, I ordered the Rustic eggs Benedict. It was so delicious.

Arrived at 923 am on a Sat morning. We had zero wait, but there were some people after us that did have a short wait. We got the Loco Moco Lechon Kawaii a dish of pork belly, onions over rice with cheese Mac. Absolutely delicious. My wife and I shared it, and added banana pancakes with a peanut butter cookie sauce which is essentially an addictive substance that should be regulated. Our waitress was nice, energetic, and attentive. All in all a great experience!

The guava pancake was good but that’s it. Went early one morning and although there were a lot of workers, it took almost 5 minutes after I was seated for someone to come get my drink order. After she dropped off my water, she went to chat with another worker. I flagged her down when I was ready to order and she walked *slowly* to me while still chatting with the guy who walked with her. Ooookay. She was very friendly and polite. Refilled my water once during my meal then disappeared until it was time to bring the check. The food: the omelette was absolutely disgusting. It’s like they cooked scrambled eggs and tossed ice cold veggies onto it. The cheese on it didn’t melt the entire time because the chiles were cold which made the omelette cold. It was so watery which you can see in the photo. They also do not have take out plates. Just paper plates and foil. That’s not as big a deal but if you’re traveling far, bear that in mind. The price was way too high for the quality of food and service I received. Not worth it for me.

The food was fantastic, but what really stood out for us was the incredibly friendly and welcoming service. It was a great way to start our day! Our favorites were the crab cakes and cinnamon roll.

  • 3/5 LM C. 3 months ago on Google New
The service was great. The food was okay. Not bad. It's just not great, either. I ordered an omelet and got a skillet scramble folded over on itself. Coffee wasn't very good. The wait for a table, for one, took 45 minutes. That part is to be expected - it was the holidays. It's the look of derision that I got when I said, "One, please." The hostess seemed off put and asked, "Just one?" Then grunted and said, "Fine." after I nodded. Also, dealing with the birds flying onto and around my table, that wasn't exciting. Note that the portions are HUGE. If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault.

  • 3/5 Matt B. 5 months ago on Google
The service was great, super friendly staff and didn’t have to wait to be seated. The cinnamon roll was a 5 star in my opinion. It was very light and fluffy (not heavy) and had great flavor with a crispy bottom. One of the kids rated the buttermilk pancakes a 3, another rated the red velvet pancakes a 5 and mentioned that they are very sweet with the topping. I ordered over medium eggs and they were over easy, the bacon was crispy and it comes with lots of it. Overall I would give the food a 3.5/5, it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great. My wife had a gnat in her coffee and someone’s nasty fingernail was stuck to the table. Not completely in your control but it was a bit of an appetite killer.

  • 5/5 Allison W. 3 months ago on Google New
Server was incredibly friendly and quick, and food was delicious. I was excited to try some of their Hawaiian fare and more creative items - I ended up getting their vegetarian loco moco and special pancake of the day. The location is a bit odd, but the ambiance inside is cute and welcoming.

  • 5/5 Elizabeth R. 8 months ago on Google
It’s a staple breakfast spot. The restaurant is super cute there’s a lot going on. They’ve got Christmas decorations up with Easter stuff and other things. Food is good, service is better. Any speciality pancake is soooo good, everything is else is decently tasty. The guava pancakes are perfect, get them. No fancy coffees just black with some creamer.

  • 5/5 Warren P. 8 months ago on Google
Very delicious place. I had the Moe Moe moco and it was good and had very large portions. I shared a cinnamon roll which was excellent. I had a piece of crab cake from one of my party members. The crab cake had an excellent taste.

Hawaiian style service. Delicious choice of food. Fresh Mahi Mahi Benedict. Kalua pork with purple yams. Macadamia nut cinnamon roll. Mediocre coffee. Our favorite new spot.

  • 1/5 Sky D. 3 years ago on Google
Very rude hostess from the moment we walked up. Didn’t even get a chance to try this place because of her attitude. I guess it’s good cause as I read more reviews the quality of food must have dropped.

We were seated promptly after thorough covid safety measures. Server was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu and specials. Food was FANTASTIC. 10/10 experience.

  • 3/5 Ash Y. 3 years ago on Google
Tried the crab Benedict. Would not recommend to anyone, ever. I added the spinach and tomato as recommended by the server. Some elements were hot, some were cold, but the mix overall was very bland a disappointing. On the upside my husband ordered the fried rice and it was the best fried rice I think I have ever had. I will return but only because of the rice and the hopes that there are other food items that are that good.

  • 4/5 Leah D. 3 years ago on Google
Would give this 4.5 stars if I could! Everything was good but it didn't have that wow factor. They have a very extensive menu with good mix and match options but some of their upgrades seemed too expensive. My boyfriend got the regular buttermilk pancake which was fluffy but just a standard pancake. He also got an Italian omelette which was like an omelette that tasted like pizza. I tried two of their eggs benedict. One was corned beef which was good. But the winner was the crab cake eggs benedict. Amazing! I also had a hash brown on the side and that was well cooked and tasty. The service was standard but would have preferred to sit inside the restaurant instead of in the courtyard. We felt a little forgotten about at times.

  • 5/5 Kelly E. 3 years ago on Google
Safety protocols meant we needed to show our safe safe travels confirmation of a negative covid test, answer screening questions and have our temp taken prior to being seated. Masks were required and requested to stay on until food and drinks arrived. Social distancing reminders were in place. The coffee was very good, the creamer is non dairy, also good! The food was great, the service was great, I would reccomend going

The thickest pancake I've ever seen, almost 1 inch thick. So fluffy and yummy. Paired with the guava sauce, quotiing my wife, "probably the best pancake I've ever had". Try the guava chiffon pancake, you won't regret it (this is a pic of two pancakes, notice how high they are)

  • 5/5 Patricia C. 3 years ago on Google
The staff is great, the guava chiffon pancakes were exquisite. We come to eat here every time we visit family. YUMMMMMY😋😋

Food was decent, common sense and customer service terrible. Called in to reserve for 2 parties of 5, one for my family and one for another family, in 2 separate cars. They said they can only do one party of 5, and since they know we’re together, they won’t reserve a party of 5 when they call in right after us. Ended up taking the food to-go, wasn’t anything special. Also, hard to get through by phone.

Cinnamons Kailua is one of my favorite breakfast places on the Island of Oahu. Their eggs benedict is some of the best I've ever had.(all of them. Kalua Pork, Smoked Salmon, Mahi Mahi, Veggie...THEYRE ALL DELICIOUS!) Their Guava Chiffon Buttermilk pancakes? Do yourself a favor and get a full stack. I can guarantee you will want to bathe in the sauce. If I had to be critical on anything, I would say I do NOT like the coffee they serve there. It tastes like the coffee you'd drink out of desperation while waiting for your husband to get out of emergency surgery. But honestly, the food is so good you wont even care about the coffee. You'll be too focused on that guava sauce.

This place is over-rated. Waited in store for take out and ate it in my car immediately after it was ready. All of the family’s food was cold. This tells me that it wasn’t made fresh. Food made 2 minutes ago shouldn’t be ice cold. Asked for 1 substitution for a dish, they said ok, and then didn’t do it.

Eh. It was wack that they ran out of back when they go to our order yet people who came after us and order got all their food. What they said was 20-30 min wait turned Into an hour long wait. Wasn’t busy so not sure what took so long.

  • 3/5 Sean 3 years ago on Google
Their eggs benedict was really disappointing the gold standard for any breakfast spot. Soggy and lukewarm breakfast potatoes, non crispy english muffin, and sub par hollidase. Don't see why they have the 4.4 rating on Google. The cinnamon bun was also equally disappointing with multi colored sugary goop instead of actual cream cheese. How this restaurant has locations in Asia and Las Vegas is beyond comprehension. I can only guess that they don't have the hands on management that led to their initial sucesss and that nobody really cares anymore.

Always the place to go for some tasty pancakes! Never disappointed. It was our first time going since the pandemic. It was the usual pandemic requirements; masks upon entering, hand sanitizer availability, temp checks, contact questions and 6ft apart markers. Even though many changes were made to help keep everyone safe, the food remains to be just as awesome as we remember it!
