Great local style food! Portions are a good size, and prices are good for what you get. Their ahi cakes have raving reviews but I was a little underwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, they are good but not as good as I was expecting. Their fries are good and the teri beef is super good! Highly recommend the beef. Quick service. Will be back!

Deans is one of our family go tos when i dont feel like cooking. And that drive thru window makes it as easy as 1 2 3. The food is amazingly flavorful and the daily specials are a happy surprise.

One of our favorite go to when on the windward side. When we're craving it we even plan to take an island drive from the west side and make sure we get our Dean's fix. Such kind people with superb service. Hana hou keep comin back Mahalo Nui 💜💞😋🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Really great food. Worth the wait from when you call in. I recommend calling before hand so you can go through the drive through when you got there. My boyfriend got the surf and turf meal with teriyaki beef and ahi tuna cake and I got the striped marlin lunch plate which was a special dish of the day. We really enjoyed our meals and the staff we were in contact with were very friendly :) I would 10/10 eat here again.

Happened upon this little drive inn on our first day of vacation & talked about it the rest of the trip! My husband got their famous "surf & turf" and I got the teriyaki beef. Highly recommend the teriyaki beef! So tender & tasty! Such friendly & sweet customer service as well.

I have always enjoyed Dean's Drive In. Today, I had a simple cheeseburger w/ fries 🍟 and a Coke. I had to fight back tears, as I told the person who took my order, "I sure will miss this place." Local kine good food and nice people. A great Kaneohe go to food establishment. Fond memories.

After our morning at the beach, we drove a bit to get to Dean's drive inn. I had the ahi cakes with Mac salad and they were really good! Kinda like a salmon burger patty but better flavor especially with the mayo sauce. Right now you have to call and it took about 15 minutes but then you pick it up at their drive thru. There was also a sign saying they are closed on the weekends so check if they are open before you go. Very good overall, definitely a nice casual lunch or dinner.

Most wonderful, homey food, local ambience, owners working cooking & front register. So sad to see the cost of operating business causing them to close. Dean's Drive Inn has great food. This no frills restaurant is popular with the locals & Guy Fieri has featured it on Diners, Drive-Inns & Dives. My Loco Moco was "broke da mouth" good. Everyone at our table raved about how good their food was, so you know we will be back.

This place is what was featured in Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It truly has ono local food. In this pic is one of the occasional specials known as Ahi Belly. I get it every other time I'm there. It has a great buttery taste that makes me want to go back for more. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and there is plenty of seating for families and groups of friends.

I adore these people. This husband-and-wife team are the best. Always upbeat always smiling always greeting you with a hello how are you. And on top of that the food is delicious.

Good quality food. For some reason, I have a hard time choosing what to eat here, not my type of variety but I think that's more an indication of my taste rather than their actual variety. You cannot miss with the ahi cakes and teri steak. Very good stuff.

It was good. I tried the loco moco. The meat patty is well-done, so it is thoroughly cooked. They do not allow people to dine-in so I had to eat outside in front of the building. It's best to call ahead and place your order before pick up. Time is limited to specific hours for lunch (11:00 am to 2:30 pm). There is also limited parking. It seems to busy during lunch hours, people seem to stop by, pick up their meals, and then leave.

The best coconut shrimp my husband ever tasted. Fresh fish dishes are always very nicely prepared and presented. Very friendly place. Dean greats & talks with customers making us feel welcomed.

Super awesome customer service, got there a little after they opened and was served promptly. Thankfully no line quite, but after us a lot more people started coming in. The lady who helped us was understaffed, so she was taking orders, taking money, answering phones, and serving food! Amazing! Very kind, polite, and apologetic. The food was awesome. Order the surf and turf, coconut shrimp, and hamburger steak, with white rice all around, Mac salad, and toss salad. Food came out pretty fast for as fancy as it was, and if there is a wait, there are TV's and other things to look at. This is a hole in the wall, mom and pop place, that serves fancy food to go. If it wasn't so far away, I'd probably come visit more often.

Just tried the Teri beef steak and the ahi cakes. All I need to say is that I will be back. Beef was tender with a touch of Korean flavor. Ahi cakes were moist and on point and tasty 😋🤤

Whenever we're in Kaneohe...and want to avoid the mall or fast food...Dean's is our choice. They serve up great upscale plate lunches...not your run of the mill fare. If you want chicken katsu or a burger and fries...do somewhere else. If you like opah in butter sauce, tofu and eggplant, veggie options...then check this place out. The slush floats are great too. Bring cash if you dont want to pay extra for using plastic.
