Classic. Ruth Chris was the dining spot of choice because of its classic quality, and congenial atmosphere. As a traveler does, I was making up for a missed holiday, so the occasion needed to be executed flawlessly . From service, to servings, it was nothing but the embodiment of professionalism and hospitality. The servers demeanor, as well as his menu suggestions, were dialed in. Our first course was soup and salad. The French onion soup was satisfying. My only remark is I think it would be better with smaller pieces of bread in the bowl, because the one large piece was awkward to work with in the small dish. The lobster Mac tastes as mouthwatering as it presents! The lobster chunks were generous on the portion sizes, and it was oh sooooooooo cheesy!! Since I’m a child at heart, and Mac and cheese is my go to comfort dish, I know my way around a Mac menu. 10/10 would order again. The bone in rib-eye was cooked masterfully. Steak so tender, I could cut it with a butter knife. While only eating red meat a few times a year, this splurge was worthy. Excellent meal. Excellent “Thanksgiving”. Excellent service.

Ruth Chris's Steakhouse has always been one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate special occasions. In this case my birthday I went here last night, 07/23/21 to celebrate my birthday with my friend and Kevin our server was very nice and provided excellent customer service. The food was fantastic and cooked to how I always want my steak cooked. Medium rare. Side dishes are always good to share for two people. In the end, they surprised me with a complimentary dessert which was great! I would definitely come back here again and with that being said i strongly recommend this place.

We went for our anniversary and we were treated so well! The service was really good, food was delicious, and the environment was what you expect a high end restaurant to be. It had dim mood lighting for ambiance, a candle on the table, and rose petals for our anniversary. We also received one round of complimentary drinks and a complimentary strawberry dessert. We ordered the Seafood Gumbo, Bone-in Fillet, and the Lobster Mac and cheese. For an extra dessert we also ordered a dessert chocolate cocktail. All this was around $160 not including tip. We were also given an anniversary card with a free appetizer on our next visit. Will definitely come again!

We love going to Ruth’s Chris to celebrate special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. The staff make your visit so special and you usually get a little complimentary treat for celebrating with them. You also cannot beat the quality of the steaks at Ruth’s Chris. They’re perfection! Every bite is so satisfying and delicious.

Very popular restaurant, this is our first time. And we had a very nice time. Service is fast. Everyone is nice, friendly and professional. Our waiters are very helpful in explaining us on their menu. Pan seared ahi tasted very nice. Ribeye steak came out tasty and on spot on how we ordered. And we shared with cheese cake for dessert. We got a surprised complimentary dessert, which is a flaming chocolate and strawberries!

We came here for dinner after our wedding ceremony with all my family (with reservations) and they were all very nice servers. We were about 60 people and they were able to get us tables for each family. Amazing service and food was delicious. 100 Recommend! I'm glad I picked this restaurant for our special day because they sure did make us feel special. Thankyou Ruth's Chris Steak House!

Everything was delicious except the Tomahawk Steak. Was to chewy for my taste. My first time having and expected softer and less work for the price.

My husband and I went here for our 1st wedding anniversary last week and it was above and beyond our expectations. Once arriving to our table, there were roses laid out. We also received complimentary white wine, strawberry dessert, and a gift card for our next visit. The staff was friendly and our waitress was amazing. The manager Marc came to check in on us as well. We ordered drinks, appetizers, steak, and desserts. Overall great service and food! Thank you!

The quality of the food needed no reassurance. My table ordered the porterhouse for two that was amazing as usual. High praises to the Ruths Chris restaurant row staff.

Mind blowing food tonight with exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond for our birthday dinner. The food was excellent.

Celebrated anniversary here and was not disappointed! Loved the service, the atmosphere and the food! Just what I expected. Wife and I had a great time! We had the petite steak, 16oz ribeye, French onion soup and amazing desserts.

Everything was great. Food was spectacular. Be sure to try the Ribeye(medium rare), filet mignon(medium rare) and the lobster Mac and cheese. We celebrated our anniversary here and we received a complimentary flaming strawberry dessert. Try the crème brûlée and birds paradise cocktail. Didn’t take a picture of everything.

Great food and good service. Allow dinner to take close to an hour and a half at least. Slow pace but worth it for the awesome steak.

Not only do you pay for great food, you also pay for awesome experience! The food is always on point, delicious, and great. But our server George is the BEST!

The food is excellent especially the sides (asparagus, creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes where the cheese was ingeniously infused). The sin chocolate was extraordinary. Our waitress Polly was totally professional. Only downfall was the restaurant felt claustrophobic and the interior design seemed to be distressed. Surprisingly busier than I anticipated.

Wow, wow, wow!! I have heard great things about Ruth’s Chris for years, but just never been until now. This might be my new favorite restaurant chain. It is definitely on the pricier side but it is well worth it! This will now become a special occasion dinner place for me. Looking forward to making this my new tradition. The service was incredible and they had nice surprises along the way for my fiancées birthday! The steak was the best steak I have ever had. We got the tomahawk and it did not disappoint!! They cut it table side and it’s served on a warm plate so every bite was piping hot and delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Highly recommended! My husband and I had a great experience here last night. The food was absolutely amazing. Both of our steaks came to the table sizzling (see video) and were cooked perfectly. As for their service, they are second to none. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional, especially our server. We both ordered steaks, mine was the petite filet with shrimp, and it was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. It is the perfect amount of food to be satisfied but not over stuffed. I also ordered a Maitai, which was the best I've ever had. All together, it was an amazing experience with great food and service, and we will definitely be back. It is pricey but worth it. I rated the atmosphere a 4 only because of the short booths. I felt like we were very close to everyone around us, and the booths are short, so you can see the table next to you. It wasn't a big issue, just not my preference.

We love Ruth's Chris stake house. We are used to a higher level of service than we received here in Honolulu. Things started out ok. But it was clear a group of high rollers or something of the sort where being prepared for. Sure enough, 8 minors of some sort of status came to celebrate a birthday party, and no other table existed. 4 or 5 servers kept coming over to this table and fist bumping and talking, our server included. We like coming to Ruth's Chris for the quality of service offered. Not the case tonight. Also, the Filet was under seasoned, and the lobster mac was dry. We were given a 20 dollar off coupon for the Hawaii Ruth's Chris locations and a free drink for our anniversary which was nice, but we live in Idaho and tomorrow is our last day here in Hawaii.

My wife and I wanted to find a special place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We decided to visit Ruth's Chris Steak House. We made reservations on Open Table for their downtown Honolulu location. We arrived a little early and were promptly seated. Jared was our server. He was very knowledgeable about the menu selections and answered all of our questions and made a few recommendations that really helped make our experience enjoyable. We enjoyed our drinks, Poke appetizer, and our entrées. We both had steaks and shared some sides. We left some room for dessert. The food was excellent and cooked as requested. The service from Jared and the other staff was amazing. We enjoyed our time at Ruth's Chris and plan to visit again. We highly recommend.

First time here, I was not really impressed with the food, I thought Morton, The Signature, or the BLT, was better. The waiter was very pleasant, but not so much the food. It could have been my selection.

My husband booked this location for our date night and requested a room with a view. While there was more rhan enough seating were stuck in a room by an exit door with a dim view of Ala Moana Blvd. Not exactly appealing.... overall nice ambiance though and the food was exceptional along with the service. Tyson did a great job and we left more than content with our meal. Parking was a bit tricky which was validated by the restaurant upon arrival. We will try the other location next time.
