Everytime we come to Oahu we visit and dine in Zia's European Caffe. It's a laid back hidden gem in Kaneohe that food is absolutely delicious. Stephen and Samson are great servers! Informative, courteous, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. I love mostly all their offerings. The salads taste and look freshl and quite delectable. The House Specials are scrumcious and can feed 2 people. I love the sweet potato ravioli, Eggplant Sorrentino, Chicken Piscataway, Primavera and the rest of the pasta dishes. The chef cooks like a Master Chef and her presentation is superb! I feel like one of the Master Chef judges tasting her delicious creations. And the desserts are heavenly! My hubby's fav is the bread pudding and mines is the Chocolate Mousse Cake. You can't go wrong and for Oahu, the food, 5 stars service and prices are great. This is our go to place. Please come and see for yourself, it's worth the trip!

We’ve driven by many times. Finally stopped in. Love it here. The service is super friendly, nice open air atmosphere. Our crispy brussels appetizer was our best dish. Yum. We will return and look forward to trying the lasagna. Also, our daughter had the kids pizza, and she loved it! We tried her leftovers and now want to try the adult pizzas. Would recommend!

I went to their website 3 days ago as I needed food for a Sales Kickoff Meeting for about 30 people the next evening. I printed out their catering menu which had instructions that they required 24 hour notice if I was to order from that menu. I called 26 hours ahead of time and spoke to Steve who was a delight to speak with as he took my order of 3 full size pans, 1 full size pan Caesar Salad, 4 loafs of french bread, and two 1/2 lb pkgs of their Olive Pesto Spread. After taking my order he asked me to hold on so he could tell the cook (sorry I am not going to call him a Chef) in the kitchen in case they had any questions that he should ask me. After a brief hold Steve came back on and told me unfortunately the cook refused to make my order - stating that he did not have enough time and that I should have called earlier! I mentioned the notice on their website and Catering Menu that all they asked for was 24 hour notice, and you could tell Steve did not understand the reason for the denial either and he apologized several times, as he knew they advertised 24 advanced notice. I would have asked for a manager but Steve stated that there was not much he could do because that was the same cook who would be on shift the next day cooking the meal if we got someone to make him do it. And you know I was not comfortable with picking up and eating a meal from a cook that got their feathers ruffled because I expected to get what they advertised! This would have been about a $350.00 order and more to come because we have these meetings every month, but now I seriously doubt we will ever order from them for any of our meetings now or in the future. I guess Zia's does not need our business or from the 30 people that come to our meetings - because they are very disappointed with the "no service" as I am and it would have been a great change of pace from the normal Korean or Chinese food that is around us. Too Bad Zia's - you have such Prima Dona in your kitchen!

I really enjoyed the food here! And for Hawaii, it really wasn’t bad for the price either. Nice part of town as well. I got the Beef & Pork lasagna, and it was great!! The cheesy garlic bread was kind of pricey for how much you got, but really good! It was great for kids as well, despite the rude looks from all the old customers. They had fun coloring for the kids, and the meals came with a soda. Their service is great too. Very kind. I would refer this to anyone in the area whose wanting some good Italian.

We just had a Skyscrapper Pizza for our appetizer w/a Molokai Sweet Potato Ravioli "Delish". The atmosphere is mello & nice for dining in.

I live on west side of Oahu, travel to Kaneohe just for a taste of perfection, courtesy of Zia's. The team at Zia's has cleared out half of the tables to accommodate social distancing. We dined on the patio, and the meal was simply outstanding. The garlic cheese bread was soft and crunchy, the way the bread is supposed to be! The dipping sauce was clearly made from vine ripened tomatoes, probably hand picked from Italy this morning. Then came the best salad I've ever had, a Pear and Bleu Cheese Salad. There really isn't much to say about this, other than it is what God created on Day 1 when he made the world. The Tuscan Chicken was TO DIE for fresh artichokes, cheese, chicken cooked perfectly and the sauce has clearly been perfected. Oh, and skip the wine and beer. Go for the sweet tea. You won't regret it.

Zia’s Cafe is very good service and AMAZING FOOD.....we love going there for a date night and it’s worth the money. Not expensive compared to other places. My husband and I go there and it makes us feel like we aren’t in Hawaii. The inside definitely reminds me of a little Italian restaurant from home. If you like gnocchi you must try the the sausage gnocchi it’s sooo good but so rich so you’ll definitely have left overs for the lunch the next day. I also love there Tuscan penne pasta dish because it has artichokes and peas and sundries tomatoes we love eating half and switching the next day. Haha

Beautiful dining room, tasty food and friendly service! Steve took great care of my party of 8 with a smile and easy laughs. Good flavor from the cheesy garlic bread to the last bite of entree. The sweet potato ravioli was delightful. Pizza, pastas and short rib also pleased everyone. I will definitely visit again!

  • 5/5 Robert S. 1 year ago on Google
Come hungry 😄 I underestimated the gnocchi with sausage, onion and peppers in creamy sauce and ended up taking about half home. The aroma and flavor was so incredible that I forgot to take photos before attempting to devour it. Complex and deliciously enticing. Prices are reasonable and staff was super friendly. Will certainly return soon for more dishes to taste 🤙🏼

We stopped in for late lunch, group of 7, with 2 children. Service was excellent & fast, they had some options that are HI inspired, artwork on the walls, and the food was excellent. Meal sizes were appropriate for 1, but you could get away with splitting a pasta dish of you added app, salad, or bread. Kid menu included pasta with red sauce or butter, meatball & personal pizza. They accommodated a cheese-less cheese pizza for our non-dairy child.

We got 5 meals to share and loved them all! My favorite was the sweet potato ravioli but keep in mind that the serving size was pretty small, unlike the other meals we got which had plenty of food. If you like vegetables, the Primavera was a great choice.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Hoomalomia botanical gardens. This is a cozy and cute place with great food! We were seated right away. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Had the garlic cheese bread - yummy! And the blue cheese pear salad, which was great. The pizzas looked good but didn't get a chance to try it. Service was friendly and quick. The parking is at a private lot in front of the restaurant.

Seriously, come eat here. What are you waiting for? The service is impeccable (Steve was awesome!) and the food is delicious. From cocktails to entrees to dessert, this meal was on point! It was fast, big portions and made this member of the Carruccini family very happy, which I will admit is NOT easy. The Tuscan chicken tasted like heaven in a bowl. I have never believed most salads could qualify as a meal, but I was wrong. The pear and blue cheese salad with it's perfectly seasoned chicken was simply perfection. If you need a beverage with a kick, try the This One Time In Italy, or the Windward Highball. And the bread pudding, brothers and sisters: you will literally think your grandma is in their kitchen cooking. I'm sorry we didn't take pictures. We ate it all so hard, it would've looked like the Tasmanian devil got a hold of it. 🤷‍♀️

We were looking for a place to sit down to get out of the rain and this place came up on my Google restaurant search. It has a charming atmosphere with either indoor or outdoor seating. Our waiter was so inviting and helpful on describing the more popular dishes. Our food was incredible, down to the last bite. Love these hidden gems and highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle from Waikiki.

Loved it. Had not gone for years. Celebrated my dads life here right after his funeral. Sorry no pictures but the diversity of dishes - all looked beautiful. Have a designated driver if you are drinking. Take care.

Always consistant in everything they do. Pasta cooked to perfection. Fresh bread on the table, warm with real butter. Best sauce no matter which entree you order in the state. Casual attire and fairly priced. Outdoor seating is available.

My favorite spot on this side of the island not far from windward mall!!This is just a starter and homemade bread pudding dessert!! Our entrees were so delicious we ate it right away. We ordered the specials of the day! Best customer service!!! I will keep returning back a dozen times more!!!

Got the brussel sprouts, chicken club, and fish sandwich. All were amazing. Cant wait to come back. How did I never know of this place??

Ordered their auction fresh fish, and came out dry and over cooked. Risotto was also dry and bland. Got food our food to go, so that might have affected the order. My friend ordered the basil pesto pasta, which was lack luster and drowned in olive oil. Over all, not impressed with the experience being my first time here. Might have just been a bad day though🤷🏼‍♂️

Showed up with 5 people and a baby from the same household and they refused to seat us because there is a 5 person max per household. They wouldnt even seat us at seperate tables. I'll be taking family dinners elsewhere from now on.

Better food now since change in kitchen staff. Don't go on Thursdays, loud, obnoxious, drunk woman on lanai will interrupt your meal. Don't know why staff continue to sell her alcohol.

  • 1/5 Hailey J. 3 years ago on Google
The food here is awful. I never leave reviews but dear God this place is so awful I had to. I'm honestly not sure how there are so many good reviews, and I'm one of the least picky people on the planet. After receiving a "meal" that I can only describe as inedible, I'm convinced the good reviews are either paid or from people that actually have no tastebuds and have never had Italian food before in their lives. The pasta was overcooked and rubbery, the sauce was watery and bland, and the chicken tasted like it had been boiled in a pot of mud and chicken s*** without even adding any salt. The only thing that had any flavor at all was the cheesy garlic bread.
