Great Thai food and even better service! I was out and about on vacation with my family and we got hungry. Found this place online and popped in to eat. I was glad we did because the food was so good. I even loved the presentation, which was an unexpected treat. The service was also phenomenal. The space was comfortable and relaxed. I had the basil with chicken dish and the mango and sticky rice, both of which were amazing. My mom had the Pad Thai and spring rolls-she loved both and she doesn't normally eat Thai food! My cousin got the grilled beef salad and also a few spring rolls. We all loved our food and had so many leftovers we ate for days off of it!

Best Thai food in windward oahu! Fast friendly service and very reasonable prices! You can not go wrong with this place. Usually order the coconut shrimp, green papaya salad, pad Thai and some sticky rice and it’s always amazing

We absolutely love this spot! The food was amazing (forgot to take before pics of our three dishes). Each was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Chris introduced us to his homemade Thai tea and Thai coffee pies --- OMG! Highly recommend stopping through this family owned gem of a restaurant. We'll be back!!!!!!!

Authentic thai food! The chef(sam) is Thai from Thailand! The food here is mouthwatering, absolutely excellent! Customer service is over and beyond, very attentive! If you’re ever in the area, stop by and check it out! The restaurant is clean and welcoming!

Disappointed. No workers or cooks wearing masks. Kids workint front of house. Food was mediocre, lacking taste and ingredients. For example, my veggie pad thai had one broccoli, little amount of sprouts, and fried tofu. Curry was watery. I wanted green curry because it has eggplant, but there was none in my order. Spring rolls needed salt. Wanted to like this place but dont think I will be back again.

This was our first visit. My husband and I ate in the relatively small restaurant and for a while, we were the only diners. They seem to do a lot of take-out orders though. We ordered the papaya salad, green curry with chicken and Panang curry with pork with one order of jasmine rice. Everything was delicious! The curries were very flavorful. We ordered medium heat which was milder than medium at other favorite Thai restaurants. It had a kick without causing our noses to run and break out in a sweat. I like it spicier, but it was perfect for my husband. The bill came to just over $32 which is reasonable. We'll definitely be back, but next time we'll take it to go too.

It is June 24, 2020. After i had ordered n paid, i noticed neither staff nor cook was wesring masks or gloves. There was no sanitizer visible for customers. There was another person who came in. He was wearing a mask. So was i. So not ok. As an elderly person, i felt extra vulnerable as it seemed they were conducting business as usual pre-Covid 19. Their response below is a lie Im not the only one that observed n stated no masks n gloves

Very good food. My favorite is their chicken coconut soup. Small place with a few tables. They do take out too.

I love spicy but their MEDIUM IS TOO SPICY, I got stuffy nose. 🌶️ Pad Thai is good and not dry. Green Cury is also delicious, but maybe do Mild spicy. Clean place as well.

Loved the food! Had panang curry with chicken. Shared chicken satay & pork larb. My son ordered spicy noodles with chicken. Everything was delish!! Seriously! Just a note, medium heat level was a little much for me but perfect for my son who likes spicy. Friendly service. Cute dishes! Heart-shaped! Like the name. Definitely going back!

Wow… what a find.. family run and the care shines through! Everything exudes flavor and is worth every penny! Sometimes the best finds are the accidental ones! Highly recommend this place!!

Very mild flavors compared to other Thai food we've had, but it hit the spot when we both felt a bit under the weather. Had the pad Thai and the yellow curry

Excellent food, service, and space. All of our food (in a party of eight) was delicious and looked beautiful. The front and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. My family and I all left happy, full, and ready for a long nap! We ordered the chicken with cashew, red curry chicken, and several (amazingly sticky) bowls of sticky rice among many other things and no one had any complaints. Thanks for the great meal and experience!

Very impressed with this place. Had two dishes: Green Curry and Mixed Vegetables. Both dishes were flavorful and exceptional. Definitely mom and pop type of cuisine. Service and pricing were also on par. Definitely coming back. Thank you!

This place is tucked away from most restaurants; however, you seriously need to make the drive! The business is family owned and the chef is from Thailand #AUTHENTIC The owners are extremely attentive and friendly. I have Celiac disease and was able to eat here with no problem! My daughter loved their Spring rolls.

Found Heart of Thai on accident, and what a great find! Family-run restaurant, simple and classy on the inside, just wonderful service, and oh wow... the food! Spring rolls are crisp and delicious. Cashew chicken is soooooo flavorful. Tom kha soup was creamy, and the pad thai was as good as you could want. Portion sizes were generous, so I'll have a great lunch tomorrow. And for the quality and the quantity, the prices are beyond reasonable. The food was so good, I was dancing in my seat as I was eating it!

I am Thai. I grew up in Thailand. It has been SO HARD TO FIND GOOD THAI FOOD ON OAHU. I have been CONSISTENTLY disappointed. Heart of Thai surprised me with their quality. I ordered take out and the service was fast, good tasting (not 100% authentic but still enjoyable), reasonable pricing, and generous servings. I will be back.. I took one star off because, most of all the Thai restaurants in America (maybe except for some in NY and LA) could use work in making it more authentic.

Obsessed with this hidden gem. I order all the time through Uber Eats, but decided to pop in for dining- the team here is so kind, all ohana, and full of hospitality. Also for a little spot tucked in a strip in the center of Kaneohe, the interior design is contemporary and makes for a beautiful & ambient lunch break that makes you feel like you leave the busy street it’s located on. As for the food, my go to is the chicken Larb and Pad Thai. I mix the two together to add some crunch and freshness to the savory peanut creaminess of the pad Thai. By far our favorite Thai spot on windward side 🤍

We stopped in for lunch to this small family owned thai restaurant and were greeted like family. We enjoyed the good food and Chris made us feel like friends. He was also very accommodating to my vegetarian daughter. I highly recommend you checking it out.

Wonderful hole-in-the-wall Thai place. Reasonable prices, delicious food. Friendly service. The basil pork and the shrimp and pineapple curry were excellent. Seating is limited so not for large groups to dine in.

I had an incredible dining experience at Heart of Thai. The flavors were amazing and the dishes were prepared to perfection. It's been a long time since I've had Thai food this good, and I will definitely be returning soon. But what made the experience truly special was the wonderful staff. Lindsay, Kianna, and Chris were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the meal, making sure that we had everything we needed and offering great suggestions from the menu. Overall, I highly recommend Heart of Thai for anyone looking for an exceptional Thai dining experience. The food and service are top-notch, and I can't wait to go back!

Very good food! We enjoy the green curry, pad thai, and papaya salad! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they told us 15 minutes and it took almost 60 min. No explanation, no apology. Be prepared to be patient, but you'll love the food.

Very friendly but don’t listen super well. I asked for no tofu, but they filled my veggie stir fry with it. I also asked for oyster sauce and a little spice and they unfortunately packed it with so many red peppers my lips are a different color and are actually burning. Not enjoyable at all. Having to pick around the tofu and super hot peppers made for a trying and unsatisfying lunch. And now I’ll probably have a huge belly ache. No one needs that much spice or tofu. Also didn’t see the oyster sauce or more than 9-10 veggies. Make sure you repeat your request a few times, although I thought I had 😔

yup, no masks during this pandemic. don't lie! Google maps isn't the only network that people are saying the same thing. just FYI. it's sad because honestly, the food isn't bad, the service is friendly and great too. but no one is going to trust when guidelines require masks and I see NONE when I walk into the restaurant.

I’ve dined here on several occasions (pre covid) and I’ve also ordered to-go here (early covid). I can speak to two dishes. The chicken Penang curry and the spicy chicken and broccoli. The Penang is very delicious. The sauce is a medium thick sauce with that classic satay Penang taste. I typically order Thai hot and my chief complaint is that Thai hot, is just not Thai hot here. The Penang texture and taste was very good. The spicy chicken and broccoli is more like a soup/broth that is literally a few degrees away from boiling when you get it. It’s fricken temperature hot so beware! This soup/dish or whatever it is Is actually quite tasty. Again though, Thai hot is just not Thai hot. The chicken can be a little on the less tender side and the broccoli is on the soft side as opposed to crunchy. It’s tasty, it’s just not spicy enough. So the key takeaways here is, I found the food to taste good. Not great but good. I also found that their version of Thai hot just doesn’t cut the mustard. Fortunately I’ve got my own Carolina reaper powder so I’ll light it up when they don’t.

My wife & I are Thai food fanatics, and this place did not disappoint. Having worked in a Thai restaurant before, the pleasant smells and aroma brought back so many memories and I was instantly assured the food would be excellent. It was. We both got Pad se ew, and I got mine Thai hot (recommended). Please come enjoy the delicious authentic food—you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered tofu pad Thai and spicy veggies. Took very long and had to remind them I was there. Food was horrible and the wrong order. Will not eat here again.

Very disappointed in the Tom Kai Kai, which had a spoiled smell and was not very tasty. The presentation was also sloppy, i had chicken skin and many choking hazards including bones. The sticky rice also looked and tasted old. I will never order from here again.

Ordered the fried chicken wings taste was ok but it was very over cooked n dry. The wings were so small with no meat, pretty much just bone. The banana lumpia was ok but mushy . It looked like the oil should be changed in the deep fryer because both orders was not golden brown..it was more burnt. Just saying.

Just ordered the Pad See Ew on bite squad. I got the hot version and boy is it hot! Im cambodian and have missed good asian food since moving out here this hit the spot! Absolutely love this place.

Fantastic Thai food!! So flavorful and fresh. Pad thai - amazing. Just the right amount of sauce to give it flavor and not drown the noodles. Noodles were a tad mushy, but overall good. The chicken was excellent. Very tender and not dry at all Thai Garlic Shrimp - The best. Must try this dish. The shrimp was cooked perfectly; just the right crispiness. The sauce is killer too. Garlic bits, fish sauce, and chili. I dumped my rice in the sauce after to clean it all up. Basil Chicken - chicken was tender, but i could use a bit more basil-y flavor. overall very good. easily some of the best thai food ive had on island.

The food is amazing. We had the pad Thai, Panang curry and pineapple friend rice. Nothing to complain about food wise. However the service is not the best she dropped our food off and then we had to wait for her to come out of kitchen to ask for check, and the restaurant does have a very wired smell that’s not super pleasant, but not that bad where you want to leave.

While the view of thw breathtaking mountains is great, the food seems less so. The chicken pad see ew was bland, while their red curry was equally unremarkable. The service was prompt and the prices very reasonable.
