My sister and I visited this spot very hungry after a snorkel tour. They did not disappoint! I got the sunrise breakfast with French toast(+1 slice) and my sister got the sunrise breakfast with lilikoi pancakes. Everything was so good, our plates were practically clean. We even ordered more pancakes after all that food! The lilikoi topping on the pancakes is so delightfully tart and light, the recipe must be a well-guarded secret! The only downside is that they are closed by 1pm, or we absolutely would have had breakfast for dinner. Our server was so attentive and funny. The whole vibe is very chill. This is a must-try place if you’re in the area.

Delicious breakfast food, with excellent service! Everything we ordered was great, but got to give a special shout out to the lilikoi banana pancakes: unreal tasty.

Small hole in the wall place in Kailua with great food at good prices. I had Eggs Benedict Florentine with hashbrowns and my friend had banana pancakes with eggs and bacon. Very attentive service and delicious food.

Newly obsessed with this place! They make their own corner beef hash. It’s so cute and you can sit out on the patio. Their food is amazing. Politest staff ever too! I just love this place it’s a vibe /) love the homey feel

This place is so so good. Bring quarters because it’s metered parking but if you don’t have they have a laundromat mat couple stores down that can change. The pancakes are so amazing. Eggs taste great as well. My wife has a nut allergy and they took it very serious and made sure she was okay eating everything.

We arrived Sunday at 8am and there was a very short wait. We ordered Lilikoi pancakes and a Mokapu omelette. The sauce on the pancakes was to die for. I’ve never had such a perfect blend of sweet and Avery on a pancake and so am positive I will dream about these for years to come. The omelette, phenomenal. The salty sausage paired perfectly with the fluffy eggs. Great coffee, good service, highly recommend!

The food is awesome. This is the second time we have been. I woke up this morning with a taste for their special muffins. They make a flavor of the day and then cut it in half, put butter on it and fry it for a bit to make it crispy. Portion size of food is good as well. Will continue going back!

Great place, just try to go early so you don't have to wait too long. Staff is super friendly and kind & the food is good! I like the lilikoi pancakes.

Love their breakfast food, especially the frittata. They also have friendly staff. I suggest arriving early for breakfast as it tends to get crowded due to it's a popular eating spot. Also you should park at metered parking spots otherwise you may get ticketed.

Always great food and service. I love their Moke Nui omelet and banana pancakes. Their stuffed hashbrowns are good too make sure to get 2 eggs over easy on top of them.

This place was one of my favorite meals in Hawaii. I got the Loco Moco with a ribeye. So good. Quiet little spot in a nice little town. A definite must stop in Oahu.

Moke's is like no other breakfast place on the island and worth the wait... specially on Sundays when they have their homemade eggs benedict! Absolutely great atmosphere and the food is cooked with love and care. If you are around, it's a great place to grab some chow!

The pancakes were good, but the French toast was fairly boring. The Reuben wasn't incredible, but still tasty, and I appreciated the black rye and the fact you could get a side salad instead of fries. Best of all, the service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I was happy with Moke's and wouldn't mind checking it out again.

Imagine going to a restaurant that has a good selection of food, nice size portions, isn’t overall expensive, and tastes amazing! Oh, and has a secret menu. But you didn’t hear that from me (shhh) just ask for “The Jeff” it won’t disappoint, trust. Also, don’t park in the lot across the street or else you’ll be picking your car up at the nearest impound lot. Just find some street parking near or around the block. You’ll need to walk a little anyways to make room for their delicious food. Enjoy!

Friendly atmosphere with great service. Food was good, but unfortunately not mind-blowing either. I was upsold on the eggs benedict, which were decent. Despite the perhaps-disappointed tone of this review, we did enjoy our visit. I'm thinking I perhaps simply didn't make the best choice of menu items for breakfast. If or when I return to Kailua, I would return to Moke's and give it another shot.

I've been here multiple times and never had a bad experience. Our server Jeffery was amazing. He is very attentive and friendly. The food is 5 stars delicious. I had one of their specials, chorizo scramble. If you go, and it's available, get it! Their muffins are always delicious and grilled to perfection.

  • 5/5 Mario R. 5 months ago on Google
The portions were super healthy and the flavors packed a punch. Between 6 of us we ordered about 5 different plates and we all shared so that we were able to taste a little of everything. The Chorizo Eggs Benedict was my personal favorite. We sat outside which added the extra experience to our ambiance with the ukulele playing in the background. A fantastic experience for the entire family.

Chose Mokes on a whim, first time visit, usually I see a line out the door. However on the day we visited we were promptly seated with no wait. Exceptional service accompanied by an outstanding culinary experience. The French toast, a personal favorite, met expectations, while the Lilikoi pancakes added a unique Hawaiian touch, creating a truly memorable dining experience. I think next time I might ask for the sauce on the side because it is very tart and sweet!

Excellent quick service and breakfast! Only thing we didn’t like was our pancakes were cold and kinda hard. All the other food was amazing. Excellent Portuguese sausage and corn beef hash. Great coffee!

This place has the sweetest staff! Very attentive and knowledgeable. I got the sunrise breakfast with lilikoi sauce, amazing. The photo does justice. I parked on the street and bring quarters (like everywhere else basically). Will come back to try the mokos

Food here was incredible. Highly recommend the Loco Moco and Homestyle Brekafast. Eggs were cooked to our liking. Jeff provided us with amazing customer service. He was very kind and made sure to always check up on us and refill our drinks.

Friendly safe service, did was delicious. Server recommended the Liliko’i Pancakes was so good. But it's sweet so make sure to order something to offset the sweetness. Looking forward to going again on the weekend to try their eggs benedict.

I didn't even get seated they "stop seating" at 1 but it's 1156 hmmm I don't know seems kind of messed up. While in the car looking for another place to go, I watched as they seated 2 other families AFTER they refused to sit us.. if I could give it no stars I would.

I love this place. We had a lovely brunch at one of the outside tables and were able to have our dog with us. They even have doggy bowls of water. The service is definitely amazing as well as their food. You won't be disappointed.❤

If you offer take out don’t take your phone off the hook so people can’t reach you. People have been relying on take out because of Covid. If you are not capable of doing so simply don’t offer it. Your comments were rude and I will go to Cinnamon instead... they actually pick up the phone.

I went to Moke's today with my mom and brother, passed by many times. But today was our first time there and I must say "I am glad that we did." Our waiter was very polite and attentive, the food was amazing, I ordered the home style breakfast which includes a choose of meat (I went with sausage links), eggs, with the option of hashbrown or rice and toast. I thought my meal was great, we also ordered pancakes, which in my opinion was the best part of the entire experience, would definitely comeback for pancakes alone. I would both recommend and plan to return.

Awesome breakfast! Because of the virus (as of May 2) we could only do take out but the service was quick and friendly. The food is delicious as well! We got the lilikoi pancakes, the sauce is what makes it... SO GOOD. Also got the home-made corned beef hash, wasn’t something we would normally order but my husband liked it and it was very flavorful and good! Convenient location right in Kailua town. Definitely will be going back!
