I've been to thousands of restaurants in over forty countries including Michelin star rated restaurants but my experience at the Vintage Cave Club has been the most impressive of my life. Our server, Jason, greeted us at the restaurant entrance and took us to our table in the Ruby Room which I later learned was the same table that President Obama and the First Lady used twice during their visits to the club. Our visit lasted just over 4 hours which included an 11 course meal with a bottle of merlot from the owner Mr. Sekiguchi, presented by Randy, the bartender, just before the main courses. Each course was described in fine detail by our server during presentation and we were given personalized menus at the end of our meal to take home. The general manager, Mr. Hirano, checked on us several times throughout the meal and even cared for my jacket when I removed it about halfway through dinner. The last hour was spent finishing our bottle of wine while our server took us around the restaurant and explained the many pieces of art and different rooms in the restaurant including the Diamond Room, Amethyst Room, private wine lockers, retail wine store, private sushi bar, and private dining room. Vintage Cave Club is now open to the public with an optional membership. $5,000 membership functions as a full $5,000 credit to your account and offers many privileges such as 30% off all liquor and your own climate controlled wine locker that can store up to a dozen bottles. I can't wait to return to experience the 20+ course Sushi Kaiseki but it is limited to only 6 people per night and it's totally booked for the entire month of July 2018. I'll try to go in August 2018. Very strongly recommended!

astounding views. no need for windows or sports on TV. restaurant setting alone is PERFECT. my problem was wait staff. i was asked Dietary Restrictions. i explained and the waitress said: "Wow u r really picky!!" in a not nice tone. so i replied: u asked me a wuestion and i answered. if i am too picky fine then just serve me anything and i probably wont be able to eat it! :( never has a waitress been that rude to me. 2 times i was served a dish without utensils. once i used my hands. for dessert i asked twice for a spoon. the staff forgot twice. then she asked a person in my party if they used their spoon "NO". she took their spoon and gave it to me. this is 5 Star Service!?!?

It came out about 1 hour and 30 minutes after ordering food. About two hours later I asked for a bill. Then the steak came out. I did not even eat food and went out. I did not get angry. But none of the working people said anything until the end. I did not want to eat the food that came out two hours later. It was really unfriendly, and the pasta was put away while eating. I lived in Hawaii for four years and visited for the fourth time. I visited in eight months and this was the first time I have not been unfaithful. I would like to thank the person singing and I will not go back and say it around. -I am sorry for those who do not speak English perfectly.

(Translated by Google) I'm not sure, but it costs a lot of money for the interior. A heterogeneous space. The price of wine is not so high. (Original) よくわからないけどとにかく内装にお金がかかってる。 異質な空間。 ワインはそこまで高くない価格設定。

We received an incredible 14 course feast in the Obama room that included only the finest ingredients displayed in amazing presentation. The level of service provided was second to none. The atmosphere is a beautiful windowless brick environment displaying the finest art. A truly wonderful experience to be remembered always.

My experience was with the "Afternoon Tea." The staff seemed a bit frantic, specifically the hostess was incredibly anxious, despite the lack of customers and calm atmosphere. Making a reservation for the afternoon tea was an odd experience, as we were told to show up between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. We arrived at about 1:45 pm and were seated promptly. The tea offerings were slightly stale, I'm guessing everything is made during the week and then handed out on the weekends. There was nothing on the tray that tasted quite right. The tea was great and our actual server was calm, collected and friendly. The experience was not worth the price and seemed very disorganized. I would only recommend coming if you're interested in just tea and a fresh pastry, not the afternoon tea selection. The other offerings might be great too, but we didnt have anything from the lunch menu specifically.

I don't think anything I write will do this amazing place justice what an experience! The staff was out of this world, you literally feel like royalty here from the moment you get buzzed in and are taken down into the restaurant in a private elevator. And the food unreal, make this place a priority on your bucket list before you die. Oh and the art amazing simply amazing collection. No detail overlooked from start to finish.

Very good food, probably not worth the cost. For $300 per person I would expect flawless execution of the service and meal. The food was well prepared, we had the beef tasting menu. It was quite good. There were some money hiccups in service, nothing major, but surprising given the reputation. The atmosphere is great. And everyone was very friendly. The post-meal tour of the wine cellar was probably the highlight of the evening.

I just started yelping myself but I've followed reviews for 4-5 years. And I take pictures of all my food so although I ate at this restaurant last year, it's great to see the reviews still high. I did the sushi bar for 360$ a person and went with 4 friends. There's on room for 6 people at the bar. Service was amazing (they stand behind you and wait for you to finish each dish) the sushi was spectacular-- I'll let my photos do the talking.

Vintage Cave Club served very good and delicious food displayed in a very amazing presentation! The atmosphere is great with nice mellow background music during dinner. After the meal, there's a tour of the wine cellar which seemingly the highlight of the evening.

Great fancy bites of food. Ask for a menu to after to so you can remember what you ate. The captain your server will tell you all about the food when they bring it to you. Amazing service. Definitely a once in a lifetime time or twice in a lifetime time place to experience. The tour and history of the place was rich in culture, history and art. I thourghly enjoyed the tour and the lady with the tiny crosses on the nose pieces of her glasses. I don't want to spoil the fun by telling you ..her knowledge of the history will definitely have you in aww it's priceless. Definitely take the tour after you dine. I wish I took better pictures of Picasso's original art painted for his family. It was truly an impressive site or view to have from our table.
