One of the more interesting attractions at the Dole Plantation. It may not seem it, but the maze is HUGE!! Pros: It is fun to have the kids try and find the 7 different stations on their ticket/card. Once they find a station, they can stamp/draw a special mark on their ticket to collect them all and turn them in at the end. Stations give you a nice contextualized history of some part of the Islands; great for kids alike. Cons: The map is very small on the back of the ticket, so trying to navigate to the next station is hard to see for even good eyes. Overall though, you can get yourself lost in there and just have fun walking around without the map. Plus, the bushes are not terribly dense all the time, so if you need, you can always find your way back to the center of the pineapple and back out. A few nice places to sit as well for those not wanting to walk through the maze:)

Awesome ride. You could learn a lot if you listen to, or have great pictures while you're on the ride.

This was so much fun! There is kind of a treasure hunt of sorts within the maze. The goal isn't to get in and out but to locate things within the maze. Our family raced through to see which one of us would be first to find all of the things and even though I didn't win I had a great time and would definitely recommend this and go back if I have the chance.

We made a family event out of it but my 18 and 22 year old got bored before the end...It's NOT free....you pay for EVERYTHING SEPARATELY here. Kinda' tourist trappy...but I know a lot of people who really liked it. I guess it's not my cup of tea...not really for young kids, too dull for old unless you like to stroll around and view plants, etc. Gardens separately priced, train separately priced and train too. Hold onto your wallet in the store. Dole whip is delicious but you paaaay.

It's an enjoyable maze! The plants are lovely. Good customer service, even when very busy.

First, when we visited there, it was very crowded and difficult to find a parking spot. You may want to plan to visit them accordingly otherwise you may meed to spend a long time to wait and experience the facilities on the site. My daughter is a huge fan of the maze, and it's why we actually visited this maze. They are just fine if you visit there first time. However they do not restore the wall of the maze and you can just go through the wall to find the destination. It seems that the maze is not take care of the Dole anymore but they still charge you the entrance fee. If you travel and visit with kids, it is okay to experience just for fun. But don't take this maze as a serious maze.

Looked cool but it was closed with no explanation given. Kinda of a bummer but we walked the perimeter and peeked inside. After some wild dole.whip ice cream induced speculation we surmized the maze was closed to retrieve visitor bodies from the previous day before the giant snails got to them. Two stars because world largest maze is cool but unable to.knock it out as it was closed. There will have to be some debate as to whether or not we can cross this off the bucket list.

In 2008, Dole Plantation's giant Pineapple Garden Maze was declared the world's largest maze. In 2023, I got lost & the girls rescued me.

Maze was the best part and it wasn't much. The pineapple express was really underwhelming. Whole thing was am orchestrated commercial, even the gummies are made in China.

Fun touristy place. The chili was pretty good.

Overall, pretty overhyped. Fun for kids maybe, but even so, there are better things to do and see in Hawaii. It just felt like a glorified corn maze.

It's a little sad looking in the winter time. It's good to wander around for 30 minutes or so. The odd little facts they have about Hawaii are entertaining to read. The app work very well.

So cool! The entire plantation is awesome! We ended up going back on our last day on the island. The scent alone is worth the visit.

I don’t understand why I came all the way to Hawaii to waste time in this boring and not-so-clean place. Finding parking and waiting in line for pineapple ice cream is also a nightmare…

Good place for kids because it is have the game. Just advice, kids like get surprise (it can cheap) if win, my kid was disappointed when she didn’t get anything.

Not a maze where you need to find an exit. You need to find 6(?) secret spots which are just panels with some information. Left the maze after about 15ish minutes.

Great place paid $8.75 to do the maze, and $13.00 to ride the train. Loved the pineapple ice cream

My only issue is it's so darn hot. Who wants to run around in a maze in the blazing sun? Alot of people apparently!

They proclaim to be the World's Largest Maze, it was fun to walk the grounds and savor the beauty of this area and the islands overall. Well worth the trip here. We did so a couple summers ago when visiting our daughter and son-in-law who was stationed here. This is truly paradise. You must try the pineapple ice cream!

Wonderful but very, very busy. 1 hour wait time for train and 1 hour plus to get soft serve pineapple ice cream.

    Train 13$ for 20 min

Waiting long line and spend half day for 25 min train ride. They might add more rides and decrease congestion to prevent Covid surface. Instead of adding a lot of stores in plantation they can add more customer waiting areas
