The location is within easy walking distance of the Ueno station which really makes traveling around Tokyo easy. It's a good home base, whereas the Tokyo station is just too huge :-). The staff was very helpful, the room was actually a bit bigger than we expected though the bed configuration was two twins pressed together which my wife didn't particularly like. Due to allergies and such we have to cook and the stove etc in the room worked out quite well.

A strategic location near train station with many options of food and other amenities. The hotel need to improve the maintenance and quality of its laundy machines because it was very dusty. The dryer did not worked perfectly as my clothes were still damp.

The front staff were really nice and friendly, and my room was super clean as well! I never had any issues as my room had everything I needed (like kitchen utensils, etc.) and if I ever needed anything like clean towels, I could write it on the order sheet and stick it on my door and housekeeping would put it outside my door the next morning. The hotel was also super close to convenience stores, grocery stores, and the train station (but it wasn't too noisy or anything). Amazing place and I will definitely be coming back!

Good place to stay if you travel with kids. About 10 minutes of walking from JR and Metro stations. Noises from trains passing very early in the morning. So not suitable for people looking for quiet stay. Room is bigger than most of hotels in Tokyo area. Front counter staff are super friendly with fluent English.

Loved staying here with my family of 4. Good location, right next to Ueno station for easy access of main train lines and a hop across the tracks you have Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo, Museum of natural history, Art and more. A little walk down you have Ameyokocho for some shopping and if not by train you can also walk to Akiba without much trouble. Room was nice and the service was great with friendly and attentive staff. Would easily consider for a future trip back.

Very complicated check-in, many admin questions etc which are not needed like age. It is actually not a hotel, an appartment without any additional services like laundry, food, room cleaning etc. Not sure why they sell it as hotel.

Wonderful & clean hotel, friendly staff and the rooms were one of the most spacious ones we’ve stayed at in Tokyo! Highly recommended for families ☺️

We received a cordial front desk service, and my family also like clean and thoughtful room design. Especially, I really love the preparation of double pillows, one is hard, and the other one is soft, it give me a good sleep. My family also enjoy the cooking time during the trip, the kitchen utensils set is good for preparing a delicious dinner.

Highlights were that the room was Pokemon themed and close to the train station. The staff was also pleasant and very kind! The room is very dated with peeling wallpaper and thin walls. We heard everything from outside the room, either in the hallway or traffic going by. The bathroom and living room decor don't match and makes it disjointed. The beds were not 2 twin beds, but 4 small beds pushed together to make one lather bed. Aside from falling into the mattress crevice during the night, the beds were also rock hard. The hotel is also not in a great area and it was kinda sketchy walking around at night. Apparently homeless are known to gather in the park across the street.

I didn't really know much about this hotel, a friend recommended the location Ueno and I am so glad we stayed here as it was so convenient. The staff all spoke English and they were always friendly and very helpful with directions and recommendations. The room we stayed in accommodates up to 6 people and it came with a mini kitchenette and was quite spacious. The Ueno location is also quieter at night as well. I would definitely stay here again, it's a great hotel if you're traveling with groups of 4 to 6 people.

Absolutely loved our three nights there! Right next to the train station and subway, heaps of restaurants and a beautiful park. Great staff at reception, good size apartment with sufficient facilities to cook our meals and sit down comfortably to eat. Bunk bed for our child was great, bed comfy, reliable wifi and great bathroom too. Would stay again and definitely recommend!

Location: close to Ueno station (but not too close so that you can enjoy some silence too) which is convenient going anywhere in the city and to the Norita airport Staff: very helpful Room: quite big comparing to normal Tokyo standard, clean and tidy, amenities are adequate (small kitchen and big refrigerator included) so it is very suitable for family and long stays

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our short time in Tokyo. We booked a family apartment for two adults and two teens. It was spacious and clean. It was on a quiet street but close to a Family Mart. Keisi Ueno Station, Ueno Park, and Ameyoko Shopping Street were a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely plan on coming back to Tokyo for a longer visit and will absolutely book a room in a Miramu hotel.

Stayed overnight with our three small boys. The room is incredibly clean, surprisingly big, well stocked and worked perfectly for us. The staff were amazing - extra helpful and kind. Easy to walk to and from Ueno station with the kids and luggage. Thank you!

Great hotel. Clean rooms large enough for our 4 adults in our room. Courteous front desk. Located within a short walk to the Ueno station. Having access to a laundry allowed us to reduce our packing by half for our 10 day stay in Japan.

We recently stayed at Mimaru a Tokyo Ueno North. We chose it because it suits our family of 3 adults and 2 children (12 and 8 yo). The hotel is about 800m from the train and metro station. It is more of an apartment than hotel. The room is very spacious by Tokyo standard. The room has a good kitchenette with microwave and cooktop. The sitting area is big enough for 5 people to sit comfortably and enjoy our meals. The bathroom/shower was separate from the toilet and was also quite spacious. There was nothing terrible about the hotel. However, you do have to be prepared to walk to and from the stations. There is no restaurants in the property and only a few small restaurants close by (not a problem for us) They are quite generous with providing tea bags (black and green) but not with coffee (we were given 5 coffee pods: 5 of us stayed there for 6 nights). There is a laundry on the second floor (cost ~¥500 to wash and dry). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mimaru but just be aware of the location and lack of restaurants nearby. Yes, we will stay there again.

Very nice place to stay and can accommodate 4 persons comfortably. It's a service apartment style hotel accommodation that comes with a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. Allow some light cooking indoor. No need to eat out all the time. There's no in-house F&B so it's handy to be able to cook indoors. Family Mart is nearby. Would have been rated 5 stars if not for the longer than usual distance of about 950m walk to the Tokyo Metro station. The Ueno station which is slightly further away provide direct Narita Express train service, so that's rather convenient too.

A warm welcome + fluent English speaking front desk staff. The bunk beds are great hit with the children. Room is spacious and clean. Family Mart and Lawson are just a stone throw away. Location close to the Ueno station. A truly comfortable stay for us indeed.

Spacious rooms, good for families. Deep bath tub and fridge were great too. This location is a bit far from the "stuff" in ueno (10 minute walk) so if you have kids this can make e.g. grabbing a quick breakfast or popping back to the hotel for some downtime harder. This hotel is mainly catering to foreigners rather than domestic tourists.
