Good try since the menu is full of proper and original spanish tapas. However the execution is rather poor, with disappointing and flavourless tapas. Garlic soup had absolutely nothing to do with the one served in Spain, it simply was a creamy sauce with floating garlic pieces. Wine was quite okay but the overall feeling is that of being ripped off at a touristic street in Spain while being offered bullfight tickets. I am sorry but would rather recommend to buy pimientos del padron at Rewe and cook them yourselves at home, you might have high chances to do them better.

For an Indian restaurant pretty good! The staff is quite nice. But it isn’t close to a tapas place. Used to be a lovely Spanish place but things have certainly changed…

2 stars for the waiter/bartender who was nice. This used to be one of my favorite spots pre-pandemic, when it was Spanish owned and run. They seem to have changed management, and the cooks are likely not experienced with Spanish/Basque cuisine. Everything was under salted, the ingredients were cheap, and there was balsamic cream on everything. Ugh. Our tortilla was boiling hot on the bottom and cold on top, which means it was microwaved - and judging from the taste, from a few days ago. The squid was not bad, but it was not prepared in any way that would resemble something you would get in Spain. The fried aubergines were okay, but cheaply done - particularly the cheese. Overall, it’s sad to have lost another Spanish restaurant, but I will definitely not be coming back again.

This place was a true revelation. Everything we had was delicious! We tried many different dishes (to share) and all of them were exquisite and properly done. The staff was also super helpful and funny. We also thought the price was completely honest, as we paid 15 euros each but left the place completely filled. So, so good if you want to have good tapas in Berlin!

The sangria isn't bad but isn't good either. It would be best for presentation purposes that it is served on wine glasses instead of regular glasses. The presentation of the tabla mixta is good, though the food is adapted to german tastes. I was expecting more variety in the cheeses and I didn't like the olives (because they came with slices of orange). The waiter was very friendly, kind, and attentive toward us. We enjoyed the calm atmosphere for talking and relaxing with friends. The restroom we clean and good too.

I've been to Berlin 3 times, this is easily one of the best meals I've had here. Great menu, decent price, good atmosphere a bit of house when you much.5 STARS! BIG SMOKE!

Worst experience ever. Nothing is in control. The shrimps swim in oil and burned garlic, the pimientos are oily and mushy, albondigas have nothing to do with albondigas. The lighting, the music, the greeting is the worst. We were thinking about committing suicide in the burnt oil. Try the potatoes but order some salt to make them taste acceptable. This place is dead. It has nothing to do with the place before the pandemic.

The biggest disappointment in the area. Vinegar: It simply doesn't belong to any of the dishes. Seemed to be an issue the salt too. And don't get me started with the sangría...

What a joke! Horrible food. Has nothing to do with Spanish cuisine. Nothing was fresh, the taste was blunt and bad, no flavor whatsoever. Very expensive for no reason, you could smell the toilet in the main room, cold and don’t get me started on the interior. Not cosy, not fun, no music, nothing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Service was nice but the quality has been decreasing over the years. The ham was super chewy and the huevos estrellados was far from good. The food in general wasn't good

Service was nice, we got seated at the bar as a group since the place was full but they were happy to accommodate. Food was just ok. I would have liked the patatas to be crispier. The fried squid was good, very chewy.

The food quality is not good. The environment and atmosphere is fine but the food was not tasty. You could taste the oil that has been frying for days.

¡Lebensmittelvergiftung!

Extremely good price/quality ratio. Great service. Not a great area, but could be worse. Definitely recommend for a nice informal dinner.

Used to be a nice place I went here quite often, but something changed now, never will go back. We sent some food back, as it didn't seem fresh, service was annoying.

Food was okay. The fried eggplant was oily and soggy. They drizzle balsamic over almost every dish for some reason? But really nice people.

One of my favourite restaurants in Berlin.. delicious food, friendly staff and always great variety to choose from - plus portions are big!

3 different tapas we had were bad to ok in different ways: Auberginen soaked with oil with a slice of Aldi Brie cheese decorated with honey and sprouts, tasteless Patatas Bravas and boring champions in white wine. The draft beer wasn’t fresh nor cold but at least they have replaced it. There’s a lot of place for improvement.

A couple years ago I used to come here regularly, because the food was nice and authentic. This time was awful, tasteless, worst tapas experience. Nothing to do with authentic basque food. I don't know if they changed the management, the cooks or owner. But today is not even the shadow of what On Egin used to be. And that is sad because the service was really nice. If you can, avoid it completely.

It is the best Spanish restaurant in Berlin. The mix of classic tapas and basque food, together with the price, makes it the best choice to enjoy some Spanish food. Owners changed. Not the best anymore

The food was tasty but the service really overshadowed the food honestly. Everything we ordered arrived super late and our orders were forgotten twice. And in both occasions, we’ve reminded them and they said it was on the way, but again haven’t arrived. In our third reminder, we were told that they were out of what we ordered. Spent almost 3 hours here, not out of spending good time but just waiting for our orders. Leaving here bored and dissapointed.

I live in the neighborhood, the place looks nice, full in the evenings (especially in the summer) and it caught my eye. I had no special expectations from the food considering the prices. But what can be wrong with tapas .. small, simple, lovely dishes. LOVE TAPAS! I think I haven’t eaten such a bad food in a long time. Absolutely the worst tapas bar I have ever visited. The girls who serviced us were very nice, but had no idea about the menu. I asked about 1 of 2 soups which they had on the menu and she went to ask the kitchen what was that… The place is nice, can imagine a lot of fun to sit in in the summer, but was just frozen. After a few minutes in place, I put the scarf back .. We ordered: Bread portion - a cheap baguette that you can find in every supermarket can’t be called “bread”. I would pay more to get reasonable bread. Simply embarrassing. Fish soup - came as a seafood soup. Very problematic, if you look at it in terms of allergies. Nor I would order seafood soup, because it is clear that at a price of 5.3 € it can’t be a good quality seafood. I wanted to cancel the soup. Because it came last and the portions were large (didn’t expect that), I was told it was ready… I hardly believe it was being prepared a la minute. So what is "ready" and why can not be undone. By the way, the soup that was "ready" came to the table 10 minutes after I asked to cancel. very bad. The soup itself was just bad. Even jamon iberico was sliced thick. Croquettes - I don’t like cinnamon, so I just didn’t eat. My partner was fine with them. It’s a shame it’s not written on the menu. Mashed potatoes with sausages - the puree was sour! Sour - not fresh, almost spoiled .. we didn’t touch it. Yuck Shrimp in white wine - nothing to tell, tasteless shrimps, burnt garlic. Very low quality ingredients. First and the last time.

They sell tortilla de patata in the the "Cold tapas" menu. The tortilla comes to the table warm and very dried. I ask if it is possible to have a cold one instead (as written on the menu, and as I usually eat it). The feedback from the waiter is a joke I have never heard in a Spanish tapas restaurant before "Sorry, we don't sell cold tortilla here..." 😂 A pity, because the rest of the food was kind of nice..

We came in pretty late, but they welcome us so nicely! The food was better they we would ever expect, really the way it should. Cocktails were amazing too. I’M NOT LYING, IT TRUE!!

es un muy buen restaurant. Gracias.
