We had a great experience here for our catโ€™s spay. We were able to get an appointment very soon (MUCH sooner than anywhere else in the area) and were welcomed warmly. The doctors took excellent and the entire ordeal was much faster than our last catโ€™s spay. She came home looking much better than our other cat from another hospital in the area previously and is recovering much faster. The prices are higher than otherโ€™s in the area but the quality of service is shown so I do recommend this hospital for spaying/neutering.

The doctor there misdiagnosed my cat and said that she had fluid on her lungs and I almost got her euthanized the same day but my daughter convinced me to get a second opinion and bring our cat home and I did. My cat wouldn't eat so I bought her some kitten milk from Petco and squirted it in her mouth with a syringe and a few days later she got better and started eating again. The second doctor said that she didn't have fluid on her lungs because there would have been a gurgling sound of some sort. We'll my cat is doing fine now and I nursed her back to health myself.

went here for a spay/ dental cleaning on 11.14, my dog wouldnโ€™t eat for days after. it looked like she had exposed pulp on her back teeth. went in for a check up 3 days after the surgery and it was very rushed and the vet said she was totally fine and just being picky, and offered probiotics. i went to a different vet for another opinion and she DOES have exposed pulp on her back teeth. thank you Hesperia Animal Hospital for the upcoming dental surgery my dog needs now that could have been completely avoided and thousands that i have to spend. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY MISDIAGNOSE AND DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR PETS HEALTH.

This place is absolutely horrible and dirty didn't look like they don't cleaned anything I stepped in a dog pee and it was a while before they even cleaned it up . The girl at the front desk was sweet but the vet himself was not very friendly wouldn't let me talk and didn't even look at my dog only thing he looked at was his ears for a sec explain to me on a piece of napkin like I was a child and to explain allergies instead instead of talking me did not look at my dog's skin listen to his heart or anything like they're supposed to do during a general check up instead he just quoted me a $1,500 bill and to think about it and come back. How can you quote something for any treatment when you don't even properly examine the animal money hungry my dog did not like him and dogs definitely since bad characteristics in people he didn't care about my pet he cared about the money I will never go back here again and I don't recommend taking your pet here either the $25 visit isn't worth it pay the $60 elsewhere you get what you pay for...

My dog ate something she wasnโ€™t supposed to. After 2 other vets did nothing for her, I came to his office where X-rays were done right away and determined she needed surgery ASAP. He cleared his schedule and performed surgery not even 1 hour after I arrived. Dr. Ahmed and staff saved her life. Iโ€™m forever grateful. No, it was not cheap, but it was worth it. My fur baby is now recovering at home and our family is so happy.

So far I've been waiting on our lab results to be given to us for 2 weeks this past Friday. The vet Dr. Ahmed barely even examined our dog. Checked his ears and determined he had allergies some how. He checked his heart. Why is it taking so DAMN long for lab results to be given to us??? He was suppose to give us a prescription for special dog food too but nope that wasn't given to us. We also requested the pimple on his eye lid to be looked at! Once he left the room initially we never saw the whites of his eyes anymore, talking about the doctors. We spent 25.00 for the visit which added up to a little less then 500.00 with no labs being returned as of yet. Did they really draw blood in the first place or are the ly just chucking and javing the unknowing. That's 250.00 and we're not playing with our money. I'm followup tomorrow and if no labs are provided I'll dispute that 250.00 with my bank. I'm willing to pay for anything like the meds & visit but nothing for something I haven't even received in 2 damn weeks. I'm definitely going to another vet even if I have to pay more money. You pay for what you get!!!! They know the visit is only 25.00 but they're looking to get way more on top of that low visit cost. It's a money game!!!! had allergies

The only reason I come to this location is because of the professionalism of Dr. Ballesteros who saved my puppie's life and the great staff the office has. Dr. Ahmed who probably owns this practice seems like he can care less for the health of your beloved pet and just cares about making money. He gives you that stare blank look when you ask questions and is quick to cut the conversation (no personality what's so ever) He needs to learn how to communicate with customers since he wants to charge a leg and an arm.The five stars goes to Dr. Ballesteros who genuinely seems like a great caring doctor.

This doctor is out of his mind. I brought my elderly dog for what I presume to be an Upper Respiratory Infection. I thought the office visit was a great price at $25 but I was taken aback when the vet techs showed me how much the bill would be had I gone further with the visit. After doing vitals, which he wasnโ€™t able to do properly for the rectal temperature, I started to lose my trust in this doctor. At a whopping $745, a total accounting for labs, bloodwork, diagnostics, and medication (how do you know what medications she needs?). Besides that, the vet techs were understanding of my decision to not go any further the visit. Iโ€™ll be going to East Valleg Emergency Pet Clinic and they wonโ€™t be charging me an arm and a leg like this quack.

Worst animal shelter in the high desert. Honestly, I really expected more. The ladies at the front desk are extremely rude when asked simple questions and when someone in line behind me tried to turn in a lost animal they denied him because the dog was not found in Hesperia. I feel like as an animal shelter, EVERYONE that works there is entitled to care for these poor animals. I wish I could give an even lower star than a 1. This animal shelter and the people who work there are a complete JOKE and I wasted my time for someone who clearly doesnโ€™t care if these animals are alive or not. I can not imagine how poorly these animals are cared for. Keeping these cats and dogs are probably just ways to make them more money!

I recommend you do not bring your doing to this animal hospital. My mom made an appointment for my dog to get get her teeth clean. The vet insisted to get her blood taken to make sure everything will be ok to put her under anesthesia. Will I got a call that something wrong with her kidneys and 30% of her kidney are not functioning so we cannot clean her teeth. My poor baby had to stay there for three days with an iv. Well, I took her to another veteran that I was recommended by family and they ran some blood to test her kidney and got a call today that her kidneys are perfectly fine and functioning very well. To me this veterinary place is a joke, I will never ever bring her there ever again

I made an appointment for Tuesday as the office visit is waived for seniors. When I made the appointment I specifically asked what the cost would be. I took 3 dogs and they all needed DHLP-P and only 1 dog needed Rabies vaccine. So I take the dogs and when it is time to pay it was $145.00. So I said I was told $95. I was NOT told it was an office visit of $25.00 per dog. Well listen up people if you take more than one dog the office visit is waived for one dog and you pay the office visit for the 2nd dog. Unfortunately the staff does not explain it that way. I didnโ€™t want to argue but thatโ€™s BS. $145.00 for 3 vaccines and 1 rabies. A little pricey I feel. I understand why it is that way as some People want something for nothing. I wouldnโ€™t be writing this review if I was properly informed and the staff DID NOT inform me. Needless to say I most likely will go elsewhere or look for clinics where an โ€œoffice visitโ€ is not charged!

I am very happy with the services of Dr Ahmed and his caring staff! He saved my cat from kidney failure, I thought it was a lost cause and my cat was near death. After one day at his hospital he was eating again and in two days able to come home with meds! His prices were very reasonable considering all the help he needed! Have been going to him for 35 years, plus other vets, and he is the best! Very grateful to him and his staff

They took my dog in when my regular one couldnโ€™t take him after explaining that my dog was sick. They knew exactly what to do and what to test for without wasting any time. Dr Ahmed was very sincere and kind and explained everything to me so I understood. Their clinic was a tiny bit dirty , on the floors and lower walls but other than that they fixed my baby and he is fine now when it could have progressed so much worse if they hadnโ€™t taken him in so quickly โค๏ธ

Everyone was really nice and kind, excellent service. The place looked like it was really cleaned when they opened, but dog owners let their dogs pee in there anywhere on the floor or the desk wall, fine they have no control on their instincts, but i see no reason on why they cant clean their own dogs pee. If you are taking your dog anywhere you should always bring napkins, wipes and a bag. *staff stays busy behind the desk checking in and helping other people*, i went at 9:30am, left, and came back at 2pm and it was clean again so that made me feel good to keep bringing my puppy at this location.

This place is a hit or a miss. I took my husky for neutering but they gave shots without even asking and he was double vaccinated for rabies. Then my other husky had a foxtail in her foot but Dr said it's not foxtail season so I don't think it's a foxtail and then ended up not checking. Therefore few months later her foot started getting infected and bleeding. I just wasted money

My thoughts on this practice are primarily with the owner, as Shafeeq was incredibly passive-aggressive, confrontational, pushy, and unprofessional. I am making this detailed, considering "management" wants to downplay what he said and make it seem like I am blowing this out of proportion and ignoring his advice on illnesses. The first issue with this person was him getting irritated when I questioned him about a vitamin B12 shot he was attempting to give my Golden for Giardia; I wanted a complete clarification on why she was receiving it. I firmly declined because he tried to push me to get it. I said I couldn't afford it, to which he made a passive-aggressive comment about me coming back when I could afford it and left the room (I have pet insurance). They write down charges but not medication with terrible handwriting (this improved when I asked them to fix it the second time). I was charged a 100-200% markup for Flagyl $80 and Panacur $40 when both medications are $10.34 for 30 tablets and $21 for Panacur(On chewy and feed bin). I didn't plan on refilling it once she went through it. And yeah, I wrote a vague review regarding wanting better communication; this was FOUR months prior. Another thing came with sending off a complete medical history with my insurance. The staff claimed they sent it, but I later found out after weeks they did not. When I physically went in, they sent it in front of me. The ONLY reason I was going back was due to an emergency with throwing up and Liquid diarrhea, and the ER advised me to take her to my daytime vet and had already sent everything to them. When I returned, I was seen by a much younger vet, and he was 100% professional with me; this was Veterinarian Ballesteros. He was very open to answering my questions and made me comfortable continuing to return due to HIS care. Key word: HIS care. When I asked about medications and what was needed and prices, he answered them with no issue, and I honestly forgot about the review I made FOUR months prior. Once her treatment was finished, I didn't plan to bring her back because I preferred scheduled appointments ONLY with him, and it's only walk-in. I was annoyed with the service, but I moved on. I would have changed my initial review had Shafeeq come to me like an adult, asked why I did my initial review, and apologized for his comments and how he acted and attempted to explain or make things right; HE DIDN'T. Everything I said was true, and it was confirmed about the markup medication by the vet HE hired. I came in Friday ONLY for a $25 examination for a foster kitten and had to see him. Everything was fine until I asked for a deworming, and he told me I also needed to pay for a fecal. He explained, and I understood and declined because I wouldn't have the foster when I got the results. He again got pushy, so I firmly but politely declined and stated I just wanted the examination today, and that was it. When I later asked for clarification about another $25 charge, he said while leaving the room, for an examination certificate that I didn't want, he waved me off and told me to talk to the front desk. I did, and he came back and became confrontational in front of staff and other clients. He told me I wasn't welcome back and asked why I returned after leaving the review I did(That was four months ago I had forgotten it and had to look for it). Mind you, he said, "YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE," and kept repeating himself, asking me why I even came there today. He never said, "It would be best to go somewhere else." He could have had an adult conversation instead of acting like a child in front of other people and had more tact.

I was told it was maditory to have a physical when I only needed to drop off a fecal test. I've never had to have a physical exam done prior, it was a waste of time as I explained it was for board and training not any concerns I had. This was 'new' but honestly a waste of money considering the vet was confused as to why she needed it to have it done and told him the front told me I needed to. And then barely even examined her, only felt on her. The only good thing is I'm getting my money back through my pet insurance.

Dr. Ahmed's office has seen a few of our family pets over the last 10 years or so, and they always do everything they can to help take the best care of your pet. They actually care about the animals and are very knowledgeable on not only traditional medicine and treatments, but also holistic and natural options.

Dog had severe scratching and all they did was give shampoo and meds to stop itching. $1400 later And my dog still isn't better. Take your pet somewhere else where they are motivated to treat your pet.
