We came here to show solidarity in some small way with the brave and courageous people of Ukraine. And in doing so we also had the best night of our lives. This place is incredible. You are warmly welcomed as you arrive, demonstrating the warmth of the Ukrainian people. The food is exceptional. We took advice from the attentive and knowledgeable Ukrainian waitresses and were not disappointed. Every bite was mouthwatering. The chef is a culinary genius. The drinks also were superb and a nice touch was to give you two yellow and blue straws in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The decor and atmosphere was amazing. The best part of the whole evening was the conversation with the waitresses who made time for everybody and spoke about everything Ukrainian. In the background Ukrainian news was playing so we could keep abreast of developments. This place is superb and represents all that is incredible about Ukraine. Everybody must come here. We support Ukraine and Ukrainians wherever they are the world. Please visit this restaurant to have the time of your life and show your support.

Greeted with a huge smile and looked after our table in a really professional way. Very helpful with suggestions about both food and wine. I will definitely be back and will introduce this place to my friends. The flavours were authentic, meat was cooked to perfection. I had the rabbit which is not easy to cook, it was excellent. My boyfriend had the pork stew which was equally tasty. We also got chicken with mushrooms as a starter ☺️ really good. The portion size is great. This is the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. It was difficult to choose what to have because everything sounded great, so had a selection of dishes between 2 of us to share. Everything was proper good. Excellent flavours, fantastic presentation. Special shout out to the pork pancakes! All dishes were seasoned to perfection. The food was great! We ordered the rabbit, the vareniki and the chicken Kiev and they were all delicious (especially the chicken, crunchy on the outside, juicy inside) The waitress was very polite and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back.

We had some excellent food here, now our favourite in East London! It's authentic in atmosphere and menu, staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices are absolutely okay. We definitely will come back and try the other things they got. Would give 10 out of 5 stars!

I’ve taken my friends here for a Ukrainian food experience and this place delivered. A very cozy atmosphere inside with very friendly members of stuff and a wonderful host. The food was delicious, simply delicious. It felt like you are visiting your grandparents or going to the mountains in Ukraine into a kolyba with home cooked food experience. Make sure your reserve the table though, the place gets quite busy.

Came here as part of a last minute decision on a Sunday afternoon. Absolutely blown away by the food, particularly the cabbage rolls and homemade bread. The servers were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

No filter required for a banger of a meal at Albina. First time I’ve had Ukrainian food in london, Albina is near to Canning Town. Google reviews were very favourable so I was excited to try. For starters I had pork stuffed cabbage rolls. As a main my friend went for the rabbit in sour cream with chips and I ordered the pork knuckle. The pork knuckle was huge! It was perfectly cooked though, just the right amount of moistness and not too salty so i had no trouble polishing it off after a day already involving 2 hours cycling, 1 1/2 hours bouldering and 2 hours of BJJ. To finish we tried the sweet crepes with cottage and served with berry & chocolate sauce and the Kiev cake which had peanut & merengue. Everything was delicious through and through. The waitress was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. She spent a lot of time to chat to us, telling us about the history of the restaurant and that all the beautiful decor had been brought over from Ukraine. We even tried the homemade Uzvar drink which is made from specially imported sun dried fruit. It had a very interesting smokey flavour which is a by product of the sun drying process. All in all one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in London, definitely worth a trip to Canning Town especially with the Elizabeth Line being so fast! 🚆

Stopped for dinner here on a Thursday night. Service was absolutely lovely, very polite, lots of recommendations, explanations about every dish, our server checked how we want the dishes to be served, was careful about our diet preferences and was overall very pleasant. Food was very good, reasonably priced, lots of dishes to choose from. Very home made feel. We had pancakes with cherries for dessert, it was great.

A pal and I made a trip to get to know some Ukrainian food. It was so so lovely. The staff were super helpful and described everything in detail, and made recommendations. Menu is pretty big so was a little daunting, best solution was to just order a lot and try. We were not disappointed. Drinking Ukrainian beer for the evening was fun as well. You should 100% visit this place.

First time I find a good Ukrainian restaurant in London. Borscht was delicious and more in general all ingredients tasty and well prepared. Price wise is a bit on the high side but still well worth a visit if you like this Eastern European cuisine

The decor and atmosphere is really cosy, food and drink was great (try the Uzvar - what a unique flavour, I’ve never had anything like it).
