Auch unsere beiden bisher getesteten Pastavarianten mit einer ausreichenden Menge an Einlage haben uns hier sehr gut geschmeckt, dabei hätte die von der Konsistenz etwas wässrige Soße jedoch gerne etwas würziger schmecken dürfen. Unsere Fleischgerichte sowie das hierzu angereichte Gemüse waren ebenfalls richtig lecker, und hatten sehr gute Garpunkte beim Fleisch und dem Gemüse. Vorab wurde uns jeweils ein kleiner Gruß aus der Küche serviert. Insgesamt beinhaltet die Speisekarte eine gute Auswahl verschiedener italienischer Gerichte zu attraktiven Preisen. Der nette, schlicht moderne Gastraum ist von überschaubarer Größe, weshalb eine Reservierung definitiv zu empfehlen ist. Der Service zeigte sich bisher freundlich, fix und kompetent, im Gesamten wurden wir bei beiden Besuchen jedoch sehr zügig durch den Abend geschleust. Aufgrund unserer bisherigen Erfahrungen können wir dieses Restaurant definitiv weiterempfehlen, und werden hier selbst wegen der leckeren, qualitativ guten Speisen gerne auch wieder zu Gast sein.

Ristorante Toscanini is a wonderful little restaurant. It is found in a side street off the main high street. We had brilliant service. It was busy with Carnival goers but we were seated in 5 minutes. The food is excellent, we had pasta with a rich creamy sauce. There was a free bread starter with a creamy cheesey butter which was very tasty. The service is like lighting and very cheerful. They have a real pizza oven and do take out. Only criticism is it lacks a signage to identify it.

Just like the reviews, Toscanini is a restaurant with great value! The people were super friendly and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. All in all we had a great time! I’d recommend making a reservation though since it does get busy and all the tables were full. Highly recommend ordering the Insalata do Capra… the goat cheese wrapped in phyllo pastry was heavenly! Pizzas were also great!

Alles in allem kann man hier kein einziges schlechtes Wort verlieren, im Gegenteil sogar, es war großartig und wenn wir nochmal nach Köln kommen gehen wir bestimmt wieder hin!

This is the place to be for delicious pizza and pasta from real Italians. Pizzas are made on a large stone oven. Staff is very friendly. After a big hour we left already. It was way too hot inside (while it was much cooler outside) and the food made it even hotter. We didn't take any more coffee or dessert because we were all too hot. Too bad though.

Came here after a friend recommended it. The restaurant is cute and has a great selection of food and beverages. I ordered some bruschetta, which essentially consisted of a very thin, but chewy dough, with a large pile of rocket on it. Was hard to eat and not very tasty. The waiters who served us afterwards were really great. Defo come here for great Italian food and a nice atmosphere, but avoid the bruschetta!
