THESE GUYS AREN’T OPEN ANYMORE. Unfortunately didn’t have a chance to experience the dogs, we walked 20 minutes there to find they closed down nearly 5 months ago - they don’t appear to have updated their google listing & it said they were open. Not sure how there are more recent reviews but thought this update would help.

I promised to give this place a 5 stars and here I am. Super friendly service as the owner explained to every customer in details what their hotdogs are about. He also took the time to explain to us about their drinks as we were visitors and didn't know much about local drinks. Thanks for that. Most important of all the hotdogs didn't disappoint us at all. We had a lovely time in the lovely restaurant with lovely food. It's THAT GOOD.

MEGA DELICIOUS HOT DOGS! Really, the best I've ever tried. A great atmosphere. You can tell that the dishes are made with love. Everything is beautifully stylish and served home-style. Nice and lightning-fast service. When I'm back in Cologne I'll definitely go back.

The store is brand new, so go in and try it out. The selection of hot dog variations is manageable, but the creations on offer sound all the more tempting for that - or precisely because of that. For now, I tried the "Bella Italia" in the menu with fries, BBQ sauce and a drink for €10.90 (truffle mayo was extra). And what should I say? - YUMMY! Very nicely prepared, tastes great! It is true that a few but high-quality dishes easily beat any extensive menu. The service is very nice and courteous, the atmosphere is stylish, modern, urban. I liked it, and so did my colleagues. We will come back! Thumbs up from me and clear recommendation!

Extremely tasty and high quality fast food! There is a huge selection (also vegetarian and vegan) and the ingredients are not skimpy (2 layers of cheese for the chili cheese fries!). I'd be happy to go back any time! Yummy!

Very small Mad Dogs store, but that's what's cool about it. You just have to share a table with others, unless there are two of you and you get a table for two. Selection is very good. You can order the hot dogs in different variations. The fries are very tasty, but we thought they were just side fries and not intended as a main course in their own right (we ordered too many). Price/performance was okay. Vl. The HotDogs really don't come on napkins, you can do without them too :)! If I'm in Cologne again, I'd love to come back for a sausage :)!

The hot dogs were delicious and stood out from the usual standard hot dogs. The sausage is completely different to what you would normally find on hot dogs and the bun is nice and crispy. All in all, it's worth trying out the different types of hot dogs and seeing the quality for yourself. The chilli cheese fries were also very tasty and should definitely be ordered with the hot dogs. The service was very friendly and quick. I can recommend Mad Dogs.

Fantastic place. The owner was really helpful and spoke great English. We all loved the veggie hotdogs and the sweet potato fries were amazing! Would definitely return next time we're in Cologne.

The taste of the sausage is awesome but as a full sandwich I didn’t like it The bread is fresh and it was great too.. The owner is a helpful man and support us too much

One of the best curry sauces in Cologne, with extremely friendly and relaxed staff. It was one of the tastiest snack bars in the area, but unfortunately it is now closed.

Delicious hot dogs with some great fries too with all kinds of fresh, delicious toppings. great value for money considering how big the portions are. very nice staff, comfortable chairs and cool music (not too loud.) Lovely chilled out experience, will be back soon!

Great hotdog place. The owner is really friendly and service oriented. The hotdogs are great and there is much to choose from. The ambience is cosy an friendly. A very nice place for a quick and great bite.

Really good hot dogs - the vegetarian option tasted amazing! Also, the sweet potato fries were great. Will definitely come again and try other hot dogs.
