Tries to be fancy but isn't. Curtains don't close, radiator can't be adjusted. Black mold on the walls of the shower.

Cute place in a perfect location. Was a bit weird to get slippers but had to ask for a hot water urn. And at 8am I woke up to church bells ringing for at least a full minute. Otherwise reeeeally great spot for a great price. Close to the river, surrounded by pubs and tourist shops

Location - Location - Location! there are some better amenity properties in Kōln - but for a central walkable location this is hard to beat!

Have eaten here a few times over recent years. Not stayed here at their hotel. The food options are varied and have always been well prepared and presented. They have a great selection of pizzas, themed as the twelve apostles. Plus many other dishes. They have spaces better suited to smaller more intimate groups and others for larger groups. Booking recommended, though we've always managed to get a table.

Great location with most of the sights in Cologne within walking distance. Good service from the receptionists. Room could do a bit of cleaning and we always had problems with the keycards not working for some reason. A bit difficult also for buggies and luggages if you are coming in by car as there is no drop off right in front of the hotel and no parking as well.

Location is great, place is at heart of city.

Clean, contemporary rooms in an excellent location. Good value for money. Friendly staff. No bar/lounge for hotel guests and attached restaurant is very popular.

The rooms were a bit small, but it was just me so it worked. The location is great for easy access to most things but they need better window insulation. It got very chilly in the room with manually operated furnaces. Also it sits above the bars so it was very loud until late at night.

The best chocolate mousse I have ever had.

One of the best places to stay in koln, in the heart of the city. The check in was really easy, the staff are really helpful, and the rooms are neat & comfy. Very recommended

Good cental location with easy access to the square. Room could do with some modernization. Ask for a balcony view of the square if possible.

The hotel is in the city centre, a lot of restaurants and pubs in the area, the Dom, the central train station. The rooms are big, clean, everything was fine.

Let's be honest here. The service and facility is minimal and no air conditioning. However we got the rooms facing the courtyard and oh boy is it a beautiful scene, the windows are designed to open sideways with a small balcony and just standing there looking at the busy area is fantastic. If you get those rooms you'll fall in love with how cozy this hotel is. And it's smack down in the middle of it all. I loved it, breakfast is really good too and friendly staff

We have stayed here a few times when visiting for the Christmas market. An excellent central location, rooms of a high standard and friendly staff.

I visited the XII restaurant below the hotel. I had avoided it for years thinking it was too tourist oriented. But faking to make/ keep reservations elsewhere... and an abundance of open tables, we have it a try. The food was great! The service was o good (after a short wait)

Great hotel for the price. Cleand rooms. The location is great and they also have a very nice resturant! Only problem we had what that the wifi did not reach our room.

Great location. Right in the heart of a busy restaurant piazza. The hotel itself is good value for money. Beds way too hard. Furniture in the room really old. Lights out in the room and room was very cold. On check in, I was told WiFi not working very fast. Very annoying. Only to find television, very old and unable to stream my Netflix box anyway. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. All in all, good value for money, for one night.

Very nice Hotel and room. Parking garage is right outside, underground only 16 euro for 24 hrs. Everything nearby, close walk. Large bathroom with walk in shower, no tub. Very good security. Must have a key card to get through several doors. The bad, the mattress was old and sunk in the middle. Oh my back hurt in the morning. No chair to sit on but a small stool. What is up with that? You go to a hotel for a good night's sleep. Sorry, not here.

Perfect location. Surrounded with lots of bar. This place is alive whole night. Hotel is based on Roman theme. Room and bathroom are very modern and clean. Staff is very friendly. Sometimes it can be noisy late night in case you need to leave the windows open.

Very good meal, not expansive. But the waiter not very welcoming.
