Loved the experience. Friendly front desk , we went early then check in time to drop the luggage but staff at reception offered the room without early check in fees. The room was awesome and big enough for a family of 3. A swimming pool and jacuzzi are available but shared with members of Dom residence still not much crowd it was well maintained and we liked it. Proximity to restaurants and attractions makes it easy. Has a good price value ratio. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic stay at the Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom. Staff were great - friendly and helpful on the most part. Rooms were clean. Hairdryer, mini bar and safety deposit box in the room. Had breakfast one morning - excellent food. Only a short walk from the centre of town and Cologne Cathedral. Excellent location.

Nice hotel with access for Indian restaurants and shopping mall near by walking distance. Breakfast was good with more options to choose. No electrical outlet near to bed for charging the Mobile phone, Laptops which was annoying after full day busy work.

Overall for the price this hotel is good to be close to the city center. The room was clean, but bed was not as comfortable as other hotels for the same price. Also the shower glass only blocks a portion of the shower which makes it difficult for the water to not stay in while taking a shower. Besides that staff was very nice and complimentary breakfast was good. Hotel is also quiet at night which was nice for a center of the city, but we were on the top floor.

Location was nice, near to the cathedral & christmas market. But i was so disappointed at how the basic amenities was not provided. They don’t have tooth brush at all?? We need to pick it ourself at the lobby?? They only gave us 1 towel… and there’s no room service after 4PM?🥲 there are no slippers available too. Not worth the price.

This was my first time at the Lidner Hotel Cologne and it was amazing! I had a lot of questions but it was midnight, there was a really friendly guy, his name was Gōkhan and he is the night manager. He anweserd all of my questions and even gave me good tips about what to do around here. After that we just had a fun talk. Just because of him I would go back here! Highly reccomend this place.

Way over priced and over ranked! Quality is rather comparable to a hostel than a 4 star hotel. Spa and gym were mostly closed either due to missing staff or strange opening hours. Our money was well wasted in this place. Location was pretty good and central though.

Terrible service. When checking in the 2 persons working in the reception was very little helpfull and rude. The rooms had a low standard and plastic(!) sheets in the beds we have never experienced something similar to this before. Breakfast was ok. But all in all a bad experience and would never check in to this hotel again.

Very friendly staff. Did not have a meal there, but the hotel looks very clean and spacious. Very helpful reception staff. I can recommend this place.

The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel is well positioned. The swimming pool is not easy to find though. The only real complaint is the lack of charging outlets near the bed heads. I was not able to put my phone on to charge next to me while sleeping, nor to plug my computer to work in bed.

I had an excellent stay here. From the staff and their service, to the room, to the breakfast, and attached restaurant - all made for a great experience. The location is an easy walk from the Cathedral, and the nearby restaurants and pubs. Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean, not noisy at all. The swimming pool and sauna were really enjoyable. But it was claimed on the website that we would have free wifi, which we hadn't (could not find any code in our room). Plus the room was good but not as good as some other four stars hotels. Last, breakfast and restaurant are really expensive, knowing the price we already paid just for the room.

wow, what a hotel. the reception staff were absolutely wonderful. As I travel a lot for work, many days are spent in hotels. and can say with all my heart that this hotel is very welcome, already at the reception you notice that this hotel is beyond the usual, the breakfast is also unique and good. if you are in cologne, you should stay here. another plus is that the location is good

Fantastic location, frienddly staff and excellent value/coat ratio. Only thing we missed was Wifi in the rooms. Will definitely book again when visiting Cologne.

Excellent location to stay for a few nights during a city trip, you get a lot to choose from for breakfast, it's a quiet place and you're literally at the center of the city.

This hotel is dated. There were no electrical outlets on one side of the bed. The breakfast was ok and different on each of the two days we were there. There were no shelves in the refrigerator, and only one bottle of water was available (for sale).

Absolutely lovely hotel - clean and modern - on a quiet side street only a few minutes walk from Cologne central station and the cathedral. The rooms were big and comfortable and everything worked. The shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel! The breakfast was superb - a great selection with interesting and healthy choices.

Confort is ok. A pity that there is no coffee machine of tea pot in the room. Most of the similar hotlels have. And the water bottle is the room is not for free. Many similar hotels have it as a welcome gift. Would be nothing for Lindner, in view of the price of the room And door not closing easily (room 315) You have to bang it otherwises it doesn't lock properly.

Having arrived in Koln and found my hotel around the corner had double booked me I was left looking for an alternative late on in the day. Being busy trade fair time there were very few options available. I found the Lindner and the check in team managed to find a way to get me a room. The staff are excellent, the room was clean and functional, the breakfast was excellent. And much better value than the hotel I have used in the past. I will certainly change my loyalty to the Lindner when I visit next year. Thanks team Lindner.

I've booked a room for a nice weekend trip in Cologne/Köln. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room had enough space, was very clean and had an own TV environment. Breakfast was quite good. There is a good choice of everything from bread to cereal to pancakes. They have an awesome coffeemaker. The location is also pretty neat. Near the Dom, Central Station and the City centre. It is quiet and pretty safe because it is near a police station. In all I want to recommend Lindner Hotel Dom in Köln.

Very basic hotel, well located. It turns out that the swimming pool, sauna and fitness are shared with the elderly home next door and a Covid-test is needed, even if you are vaccinated. This also means that you need to book the pool and wellness well upfront to be able to get a slot with a limit of 30 minutes. On top of this there was no pre-warning at the check-in, so I found out about this all in my bath-robe at the pool itself. After complaining at the reception I ended up in an argument. Apparently the front-desk manager was not amused and didn't even have the courtesy to ask how the stay was at the check-out. I have given Lindner a chance to react to this complaint, but so far no reaction. Hence this review as a warning for people who want to book this hotel because of the pool and wellness.

Excellent comfortable room including air con, bathroom, beds. Clean and top notch. Friendly and helpful staff both in reception and at breakfast. Will never stay with another hotel in Cologne. This is not a one-off. Consistent quality as I have been coming here since 2007 and still the same high standard. You can't beat the location with a couple of minutes walk to train station and Dome. My very best recommendations!

The hotel is located near the Kölner Hauptbahnhof (Railway station), which is an advantage. It is in front of the police office (so I guess it should be quite safe also). The rooms are very quiet (thick doors and good walls). The beds are of exceptional good quality for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is good (not too extended, but not very limited. You have all there is to eat). Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. I'd recommend to eat here. The only problem is that the bar is not always open, but I guess that's a matter of budget choice (personnel cost).

Stayed here for 2 nights from Friday to Sunday. Overall it is a very nice hotel.you are not too far away from the old town of Cologne. We stayed on the 7th floor and it was a first class room. Yes, I did have the bathrobes and a balcony. But the view was on to a construction site. But I can live with that as we were only there for 2 nights. I would have liked a bin in the bedroom. The bath/shower is a joke. We like to have showers. The shower part of the bath is so small that you to be frightened to flood the bathroom! The breakfast in the morning was really nice. At the moment you have to let reception know when you would like breakfast, so that not too many people are in the breakfast area. I asked the young woman, who was looking after us, for filtered coffee. No problem. This morning I didn't even have to ask. So thank you very much for making my weekend!! Would I return: I don't know.

Like it is the case with all Lindner properties that I have experienced so far , I again liked the lightening, storage space , quality of bed , duvets and pillows in the room , the detail as for example welcome card and sweets , the small extras on the b'fast buffet e.g. chocolates and fortune cookies , the friendliness of the staff and of course the location .

Excellent location. Loved the breakfast and quietness in our room. Great view of the inner courtyard. Late check-out and friendlyness from personell very much appreciated. Rooms do look like stuck in the 90's and doors are opened and closed with some loudness that could be disturbing at night. Due to covid additional amenities closed. For the special price we booked a hotel that matches others in their price range very well. For the normal price it performs way below the market.

Staff was very friendly and we were even received with free waffles and glühwein in the reception area. parking was handy underneath the hotel. Centre and Dom Cathedral right at our doorstep. Breakfast included everything you could wish for, even vegan choices. Beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. In short an excellent choice!

👍👍 An incredible place with a great collection of cars to buy and admire. It is completely free to enter something that absolutely blew my mind considering it houses the Michael Schumacher Private collection museum.
