I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the service provided was excellent and John was really friendly, helpful and also made us feel welcome. The breakfast was nice, I do wish they had a few more hot options though. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I do wish some of the channels worked on the TV though, as BBC News didn't have a signal but I noticed this in another hotel earlier in the year so it's probably the BBC's fault.

Excellent stay at the hotel here. Rooms were very clean and the location was wonderful. The view from the rooms was great and so was the breakfast. The people who work there are also very kind and helpful from check in to check out. Issam and Carolina were a pleasure to meet and helped with any questions we had. Will be coming back

Amazing price quality ratio for this hotel. Comfortable, well connected and great option for solo travelers and couples. My applauses to John Klar, the Guest Relations Manager for making our stay extra special and going the extra mile. This kind of service is why you come back to hotels.

The location and the view to the lake and the Dom was amazing, the room was clean and amenities were on high standard, The staff and the reception people were so kind and friendly. I can't say anything bad about my experience, only a small thing, the windows can't be opened so it will be not the best experience for the people who always like to get natural fresh air

Great hotel, rooms are pretty updated and nice. The beds personally I found them a bit hard but it was all well worth it. Close by the cities center.

We (group of 4) only stayed here for one night but were all very satisfied! The rooms were clean and the beds super comfortable and there were plenty of power outlets as well as storage space in the bathroom. We were also pleasantly surprised that no outside noise could be heard from the street/railway. The AC was a bit too loud for our tastes but it was easy to turn off, so it didn't bother us. Breakfast had a lot of variety (we especially liked the different sweet pastries) and the ladies working in the breakfast room were very friendly and professional! The hotel is also only a few minutes away from the nearest tram station, so we could easily move around to explore the city. Definitely would stay here again.

Nice view hotel. Friendly reception. If you travel with underground more easily and walk to hotel. If you check out they will sevice you as like 4 star hotel friendly.

Good hotel in the centre of the media park. Only reason I've given it 4 and not 5 is because there is no pick up/drop off area right outside the hotel. The taxis pick you up a couple minute walk away near motel one hotel because the nh hotel is In a pedestrianised area. The second issue was that the aircon in my room didnt seem to work very well. However service and rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast was really lovely and had such a great selection of food. There's actually a mini bar in the room too!! Excellent view from the 7th floor.

It was a great place to stay at, everything is so tidy and clean, the only downfall is that Uber and Taxi can not get you to the hotel door.

Lovely neighbourhood with a good atmosphere. Great location for walking to the metro (10 mins) and into the old town (20 mins). Immaculate rooms, park view, polite staff. Breakfast looked lovely!

Jan at the reception was really nice gentleman, checkin was very smooth because of him. Such a pleasant welcome in Germany from him. Hotel location is great, I loved the cleanliness of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Starting from the welcoming and smiling Astghik and the other receptionists, to the caring Sandra and the guys at the breakfast, to the energised and professional Giuseppe and Cocco at the bar; what a winning team.! The good: the room was clean, there were two beds. That's about it. The bad: Everything else. The most unpleasant surprise - you can NOT open the windows. There is not even a lock. So there is absolutely no way to let fresh air in. You have to rely 100% on the air conditioner which does not work properly. And when it does, it lets air filled with cigarette smoke into your room. An absolute disaster for people with asthma or people that have trouble breathing in general. The only option you have is to take the elevator and get out of the hotel to get some fresh air in. What makes it worse, there are fragrant hallways everywhere. So you have to get through clouds of chemical compounds first. And on the way back again. Absolutely atrocious. There should be wifi in the rooms. Tried it with three different smartphones, same result: no connection. One out of four bars. Tried the wifi in the lounge: same result. No connection. Wow. The people at the reception are friendly but there is 0 service. Asked for an electric iron, they said they'll bring it to our room. Nothing happened ever since. We didn't bother ask again. The sleeping comfort is miserable. The mattress feels as soft as pudding, back pain is guaranteed. The pillows are small and super uncomfortable. It is like they went to Ikea and bought the cheapest items possible. On the second day we could not get into our room. Turns out, the key cards tend to lose their magnetization easily. In that case, you have to go back to the reception and ask for a new one. I would give it 0 of 5 stars if possible. Worst hotel I ever had. Never again.

Rooms were really large and clean. The hotel itself is fantastic. The location is also quite nice, in a quieter part and close to one metro stop. However going to the Hbf might take some time from the location.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Everything was amazing but I have to point out the service. Maria and Asti at reception were very helpful, providing excellent recommendations for food and drinks in the city and Giovanni at the bar was great! Would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel.

It has been a wonderful stay with my family though it was a business trip. We enjoyed every moment of our accommodation at NH MediaPark and everybody (Mrs. Marie Theisen, Mr. Patrick Westphal and all Front Office, F&B staff) was outstanding and made us happy with small gestures :)

The water in the shower is very weak and I asked to change the room several times and it was refused, and the drinks fridge is poorly cooled and is not suitable for cooling, the air conditioning is loud and rating this hotel only deserves two stars. Far from the market, the janitor did not clean the room well, and some staff were treated with fanaticism and loud voice

Nicest staff in Koln, breakfast and dinner of high level and very cleaned structure. Since 7 years our first choice in Koln Never met before a so nice staff

We enjoyed our stay during the Corona virus period. Super spacy and nice rooms, polite personell, good breakfast. About 5 min from the Dom on foot, but still in a very nice central area.

Great hotel. Spacious parking lot. Top class in general. Breakfast is very well prepared with a nice diversity of food. Corona measures are well taken. Will visit NH in other destinations.

The Hotel is nice well located and surrounded by several options to eat and go out. The entrance to take a Taxi is somehow weird as it is underneath the building. Rooms were nice and clean, just the bathroom was in need of some care. The staff was great, attentive and helpful. They have a Cafeteria with prices a bit high for the food they offer, but service is great and the ambience is very nice. Breakfast was good but nothing with great variety.

Come back after 3 years and unfortunately 😔 the service was lower then before Our room was ok but not very comfortable , products like water , coffee, milk were not replaced when cleaned Bed covers were not replaced during few days of stay Generally room service and room furniture could make big difference Breakfast was very good 👍 as always at the bar cocktails were great Good stay but this is definitely 4* and do not expect 5* from here

Giuseppe & lena were incredible bar staff. Amazing service, the drinks they made were fantastic, english was perfect. They made me feel at ease alone in the bar and also very welcome.

In my opinion the location of the hotel is the best to visit Cologne. Is not so far for the center, but enough to avoid the sound of the traffic or crowed commercial streets. The hotel has an underground parking, with big spots, very clean and bright. You can just leave the car and visit the city walking. The reception team is very kind, and provide all the information you need about Cologne. Most of the rooms have views to the Cathedral and to the pond just in front of the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay - the rooms were nice and clean, and the staff are helpful and responsive. Breakfast was also good, if you’re not super picky. Location wise is about 20 mins walk to the city centre. The only thing I found disappointing was the gym, which was really small and had only 3 equipment.

This hotel was amazing. Close to the city. The staff are really friendly. At the bar we ordered great cocktails. And of course the room was really clean. So i will recommend this hotel.

Great room and view of the garden and the tower. S Bahn station is a bit far, so that was a bit uncomfortable. They have an option where you "check-in" can select the exact room. Pretty cool, but somehow they forgot about my preference.
