Ich persönlich hatte einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt im Hostel. Das einzige was mich persönlich gestört hat, das die Duschen sehr klein ausgefallen sind, es war keine Ablage für Kleidung vorhanden. Die Dusche stellte sich nach ca. 30 Sekunden ab, man kann damit leben. Die Toilette wurde, wie auch die Dusche täglich gereinigt und desinfiziert, trotzdem könnte man evt mal die Toiletten Schüssel erneuern. In der Küche ist nicht alles verfügbar, mir fehlte dort 1 Flaschenöffner. Großer Kühlschrank vorhanden. Im Zimmer gibt es abschließbare kleine Schränke, Schloss kann man sich ausleihen für ein Pfand. Abends kann man sich auch sehr gut dort mit vielen versch Menschen unterhalten und etwas trinken. Bier, Wein andere Spirituosen sowie Kaffee in versch Varianten wird verkauft, sogar Kuchen. Es ist eine wirklich schöne Atmosphäre dort. Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und auch mitteilsam. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. Wenn ich mal wieder komme nach Köln, dann gerne zu Euch.

Nachdem ich auf Anfrage die Auskunft bekam, dass kein Zimmer frei sei habe ich weiter gefragt und erfahren das noch ein Bett in einem Mehrbettenzimmer frei ist. Diese habe ich gebucht und war sehr zufrieden, dass ich im Schneechaos nicht zurück fahren musste!

The place is really clean but relaxed at the same time. Coffee in the morning was amazing even tho you have many nice cafes and bakeries around. We only stayed for one night and had a great experience overall. The hostel is well connected to the city centre via the underground. Our checking was quick and the staff was really friendly. We even got a little map of Cologne centre and towels for free! We sadly didn’t get to try the hostel’s café/bar as we only stayed for one night, but the atmosphere seemed great and there was even live music! We were in a private room with bathroom that was clean a really nicely decorated. It didn’t feel like ‘hostel’ at all. We almost got the feeling of staying over in somebody’s home.

Die Dusche ist so eingestellt, dass sie exakt nach 4 Sekunden ausgeht! Sowas besch...... hatte ich noch nie! Das ist eine Frechheit und hat mit dem Gedanken des Wasser sparens nichts zu tun! Das ist purer Geiz! Es gibt auch keine Handtücher auf dem Zimmer! Auf Nachfrage wurde mir mitgeteilt, nur auf Nachfrage unten an der Rezeption und extra! Das konnte ich klären- extra berechnet werden sie nicht aber man muss ausdrücklich darum bitten. Was für ein sch... ist das???? Dann bekam ich EINS (das unter der Theke lag..) mit dem Kommentar die werden sonst geklaut und wenn nicht, wissen sie nicht, ob sie sauber oder benutzt sind. Für den Preis pro Nacht nicht mein Problem . Zumal es beim Check In nicht kommuniziert wurde. Klasse. Ich kam so spät zurück, dass die Rezeption geschlossen hatte (30 min vor offiziellen FA) und ich später kein Handtuch gehabt hätte. Der Gipfel war dann noch die Anordnung man muss beim Check Out sein Bett abziehen und die Wäsche in den Keller bringen. Bei 25 Euro die Nacht gerne. Im Schlafsaal, dann aber bitte nur zu 20 Euro auch, aber nicht so. Nie wieder. Da schlafe ich lieber im Bhf auf der Bank bis früh mein Zug kommt. Bilder wurden leider von Google gelöscht.

Wer Lärm empfindlich ist, sollte Ohropax mitbringen oder gleich woanders übernachten. Es wäre schön gewesen, über die Bauarbeiten am Haus nicht erst nach dem Check-in im Hostel Flur informiert zu werden. Im Badezimmer hat es sehr stark gestunken, auf Nachfrage wurde uns nur gesagt das würde wohl am Abfluss liegen, aber nichts unternommen. Ein Aschenbecher am Hostel Eingang wäre sinnvoll, um die total verdeckte Straße zu entlasten. Man sollte hier jedenfalls nicht mehr als günstigen Hostel Standard erwarten. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir uns eine andere Unterkunft suchen.
