Everything was super. Staff very friendly, rooms very clean, big parking space. I cannot give more than 5 stars here, but you deserve 10 stars.

I try and choose hotels which don't usually cater for British people, I like to experience a place how the locals do. And I don't want to be around the British stag do groups. The hotel is an easy journey from Cologne, a short train and bus journey. I was also able to get to the airport very early on a Sunday morning, 05.24 bus from near the hotel. The area is quiet and quaint. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated and lots of natural light. It also had a bath which was so nice after traveling and climbing the cathedral tower! The staff spoke better English than my German, and we managed to communicate well enough. The bed was a little uncomfortable as it felt like it needs replacing. I am going to book here again when I next visit Cologne.

Old furniture, but functional. Price and value kind of match. Better than average food evenings. Boring, below standard breakfast. Overall you get what you pay for.
