Kauft man halt von einem ordentlichen italienischen Bäcker zu - es soll ja in Köln den einen oder anderen geben. Aber dass man Samstag Abend in einem vermeintlich italienischen Restaurant (Rewe-?) Vollkornbrot serviert bekommt mit der Bemerkung, das Brot sei aus, das ist schon was ganz Besonderes. Tatsächlich war es das erste Mal, dass ich beim Italiener Vollkornbrot bekommen habe. Eine Brotart, für die Italien ja schließlich bekannt ist. /s Leute, dann sagt einfach: es gibt kein Brot - sorry, wir haben es verpeilt. Aber so was abzuliefern ist ja wohl nur noch peinlich. Alles zusammengenommen haben wir die restliche Bestellung gecancelt, haben die Flasche Wein (der Didyme war sehr lecker!) geleert und sind um die Ecke zum Alborz, weil man da wenigstens weiß, was man bekommt. Der Hype um dieses Lokal ist völlig ungerechtfertigt - vielleicht hatten wir auch einfach nur Pech, aber mehrere Schnitzer in der Liga lassen mich dazu tendieren, dass die ganzen guten Bewertungen einfach von Leuten stammen, die nur begrenzte Ahnung vom Essen haben und/oder sich von der Atmosphäre blenden lassen und es sich beim Il Bagutta um eine momentan angesagte Location handelt, welche von diesem typischen Kölner Gehype profitiert. Es tut mir ein bisschen leid um das Personal, das dort wirklich einen tollen Job macht.
