We arrived at the hotel late and very tired. The night receptionist was immediately very nice and helpful. Another highlight was the chef at breakfast, who prepared the egg dishes and pancakes: he kindly suggested different ingredients to make our breakfast and our mood even better. These were two extras in an already great place.

What kind of 4 stars hotel would have to wake you up at 8:20 am in the morning for cleaning the room? The guy knocked, woke me up and rudely entered the room. (The most important things to have in a hotel are privacy, silence and a comfortable bed, which we didn't experience) The swimming pool was So Cold and I find it not normal to allow people being naked in the spa and not taking into consideration that there are kids in the hotel who would like to enjoy the spa as well! I gave it two stars for this bad experience but tbh, I can't deny the fact that the hotel was cozy, the staff were so kind the breakfast was great. Ps: the Saunas and the gym were amazing and clean

good hotel, ideally located for the exhibition. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Particularly the bar and restaurant staff, that coped very well with being shortstaffed and very busy.

The location is awesome, if you're attending a convention at the Messe, but the service was extremely slow (1 hour from the time I received a menu until I was asked what I would like to order - 2 Euro surcharge for ketchup with my fries?!?).

Checkout is at 12, but at 8 and 8.45 my door room was opened and closed again. There was no knocking or anything. After I asked at the reception, they said the cleaning ladies are very impatient. If check-out is at 12, it is extremely rude to enter twice!! My colleague reported similar issues, where the cleaning personnel just entered and then pressured that she wants to clean now although it wasn't checkout time yet. Also, the wifi didn't reach my room. After I complained about these two things, they barely apologized and said what I could have done better and that many people nevertheless checkout early so its legimitate that the cleaning personnel just enters at 8 without any notice.

Very good location, right across the street from Koelnmesse expo complex. The building has a nice contemporary design, the rooms are fairly spacious and clean. They provide climate control. The TV are on the budget size, so are bathroom consumables. No robes and slippers provided. The rooms have a safe box but can be locked with a credit/debit card (using the magnetic strip). It wouldn't be a problem if the way is positioned in the furniture would allow a proper swipe through the reader which kind of doesn't. The room also has a mini fridge. The bathroom has a hairdryer. The body gel/shampoo is in a special container which has to be... squeezed to release its contents. The elevator doesn't require the use of room key card, so the upper floors are easily accessible for non staying guests. Overall the hotel offers a good value.

The hotel itself is clean and service is friendly. The rooms are OK, but the towels are very thin and the shower head pressure is low. I also had to kill 3 mosquitoes in my room. There's no free water. The gym is small but does have a cable machine. The bar service was good, but the food wasn't all that great. The drinks were good. Location wise it is close for DEMEXCO but for vacation its far from places.

Room was ok, the furniture was not the newest seen lots of wear and tear.. overall i was disappointed about the following parking was included but there was no place in the Parking garage so I had to park my car about 20min walk away for 20 eur extra and 20 min walking, breakfast was great so since there was no forthcoming from the reception due to the extra inconvenience I don't fell I would recommend this place...

Good sized rooms, clean and conveniently located. 1 star less because the cleaning staff came tapping on the door several times early on Sunday morning, waking me up several times. They also walked in on my friend next door, who was just out of the shower. Why they cannot check if a guest has already checked out is beyond me.

Friendly staff and easy access to the arena. Only drawback is limited eating choices close to hotel.

Friendly and good staff. I have gone this hotel twice for my business trips. I like it. It's clean and quite. You can go easily anywhere whatever you want. I advise Dorint Hotel.

Hotel is very good, rooms are good and clean, kingsize bed is very comfy and good with sleeping, but they brought one portable extra bed; more like coffin, parking price are very very high when I compare with other hotels, for using facilities you have to pay extra such as pool and sauna, gym, pool was broken but still you have to pay full amount, sauna and spa area was good and clean, douch places are clean but all taps and rainy douches are clogged, we found one working normal and safe, others were dangerous because of stuck with hot water.

Nicely located hotel, a short walk to the city, across the bridge. We found the room in excellent clean condition but with the conjoined single beds instead of the advertised large double bed which was disappointing. We picked this hotel over others because of the Spa options, but at arrival we were told the pool was closed. We were looking forward to end our long, cold days in the city in a heated pool and sauna, but unfortunately we weren't able to.

They are understaffed do do not expect dinner in the restaurant, and it is not a room service. If you order, need to pickup in the reception. Some employers were almost rude with us. The good part is that everything is so clean and the food was delicious. One of the best breakfasts also that I had

Their high prices are far away from being justified (545 euros for 3 nights); it was horrible. I didn’t know how many stars they were supposed to be, but it was my worst experience ever. I have just seen it is a 4-star hotel, and this disappoints me even more. No espresso coffee for breakfast (and no service in the dining hall), most of the staff could not speak English, they did not provide lunch and tried to oblige us to accept eating at their bar as a standard and equivalent option. The bar staff seemed unqualified (they charged me for things I did not order and had to remake the receipt three times!). At the same time, the team from their restaurant, which was open only in the evening, was truly rude, making us decide to eat elsewhere. As if that were not enough, the room service did not include one bottle of water per day, and the price for a tiny plastic bottle was 3 euros! I guess the above would be enough, but the worst has yet to come: every morning, when reaching the dining hall to have breakfast, the staff was unable to understand the room numbers we told them (it happened to several colleagues and me daily) and would write wrong information, saying that someone from our room already had breakfast. The result of this kind of incorrect information – where they reported me as already downstairs having breakfast while I was not – led the cleaning staff to try to enter my room while I was changing my clothes! I travel around Europe weekly for work and have never felt so disappointed about the service.

Decent business hotel for a visit to the Messe (or a less-expensive alternative for visiting the city). The breakfast was impressive with many options. If possible try to get a room away from the road, because those can be a bit loud from the traffic. Check in and out were very quick and easy. There is also a restaurant attached (although I didn't visit it), which is helpful because there are not too many food options in the area.

Great place, located in front of the fair - But expensive breakfast, not included in the booking and fitness and Spa also with additional costs

Very nice. Just in front of the messe entrance and 20min walk across the river to get to the city center (or perfectly connected by Tram). The Spa is small and the temperature in common areas is a bit cold for my taste. Quite enjoyable otherwise and good choice of food in the restaurant and bar. Breakfast is outstanding!

Great Hotel, great breakfast, great location and great staff. We travel to Cologne regularly at least 4 times a year. I have stayed in several hotels in and around Cologne and since finding this one a few years ago i refuse to stay anywhere else.

I did not feel welcome as a guest. We asked for a service but that was not answered at all, although we just pay for it. Very biased and totally customer-unfriendly woman at the reception. This lady does not belong in a costemer care environment. an experience to make sure I never set foot in this hotel again

Generally good.; clean and nice. The location is perfect for the ANUGA trade fair which is just across the road. Breakfast is great here, with so much options at the buffet, however you need to be careful with your belongings at breakfast as thieves lurk around stealing bags.

Great Hotel, if you are planning to visit Cologne. This is the hotel Clean rooms, staff are very friendly and location is just 8 minutes from the station that connect to the airport 👍🏻 Also from the hotel you can walk any where is very close to the town Center 😉

This “spa” resort does not offer spa treatments or massages, there’s just a pool and a sauna. At least there’s a bathtub in the room.

I went to visit Cologne and surroundings for the weekend and stayed at this hotel. The experience was just superb. The room was large and tidy and everything was functioning well. The breakfast, as well, offered a large amount of options for every taste. I loved it. Lastly, we also used the SPA which was absolutely fantastic. The sauna was great and to relax in the swimming pool was incredible afterwards.

It's a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff are all really lovely. Amazing spa and excellent prices on treatments. Free drinks of you conserve environment and skip room cleaning. Comfortable beds but room temp was too hot even with temp turned down on thermostat. The pool water is a bit cold for my liking. The food at the restaurant is good but not up to the standard you're charged and it took a long time to have our order taken and then be served and then clean-up to get the bill. A really long process that cost much more than it was worth. But staying for the hotel itself was fantastic.

Hygiëne was ok, Breakfast was very basic We took a réservation with wellness included FOR EVERY DAY OF YOUR STAY. But on the second dat we ask at 10o click tot accès thé spa. Spa is only opening at 12 o clock and you Cant go anymore. This is false publicity and if you see the age of the hotel and the kindness of the workers you'll understand why they making false publicity to fill theire hotel . Next time another hotel.

Can confirm had the best holiday thanks to this hotel. Room was great, staff was wonderful and the room service was speedy. The bar and restaurant attached was also very, very nice. It's amazing that the tram service is directly outside too! The hotel also booked a taxi for us, which was honestly great. We were very nervous our driver wouldn't speak English, but he did - and it even had automatic doors and got us to the airport very quickly + took us directly to our gate.

My husband and I stayed at the Dorint Hotel for a week over New year's eve. We chose this one over a more central located hotel as it was cheaper and the reviews were better and I'm so glad we did! The breakfast is excellent, everything you could ever think of and not too busy when we went around 8:30/9am. We also had the spa included which we visited daily for a steam and sauna - for brits visiting the 'textile-free zone' means exactly that and was fab to have a nude steam! On new years day after a huge night out we decided to get room service dinner which was very quick and delicious. Plenty of restaurants nearby if you are staying and even more if you nip over the bridge to the old town. Highly recommended. This was my first trip to Germany and I loved it, everyone was so welcoming and loads to do. We spend most of our time either shopping or drinking mulled wine at the Christmas markets!

Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Fixtures were relatively new, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was well beyond any expectations I could have had. I was there because of a cancelled flight, and the staff did well to explain everything I needed. The dinner that I had a voucher for was only for a select few items off of a special menu.

Perfect location for our purpose, close to the fair. There is nothing to complain about, neat room and ac in the room at no extra cost👌 The traffic was outside the window but nothing that disturbed. Fantastically good breakfast with a lot to choose from, among the better breakfast buffets I've seen. Close to the station and other connections, a short walk to the selection of restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Was okay until Dynamo Zagreb youth team started running up and down the corridors banging on doors and slamming doors. Had to be up early for a flight (like in 6 hours) and reception would do nothing about it

Functional is the best I can say. Good breakfast, although machine automated coffee. Very nice sauna area, but at small 6 Euro additional fee

I had called in advance to add an extra day to my stay, but this was not added despite the hotel telling me it was. The hotel Informed me that room cleaning was illegal due to corona therefore they wouldn’t be doing any. This is absolute rubbish as I’ve stayed in many hotels this summer, all of whom found ways to clean. The check in staff were rude and everything seemed to be a problem, even questioning where I was from when I showed them a German driver’s license. Xenophobic, rude staff have no place in a modern hotel and I will not be back.
