I booked the New Years Eve 2015 trip to london. My best friend booked there several times but this year was a disaster. We arrived in London approximately 11.00 o'clock. We had 1 hour left in order to be able to check-in. But MANGO Tours decided to do a three hours "Bus City Tour". MANGO Tours kicked all the customers out in the middle of the city in order to provide their paid service called "Bus City Tour". That means if you do not pay the Bus Tour before the (Hotel) check-in they will leave you alone in the middle of the city. MANGO Tours expected that i am going to the London City with pyjama because i did not want their paid services at all, altough the Bus City Tour was the last years free of charge. They do not care whether you can speak english or not. They do not even care if you have any physical disability or similar (like a woman there). I had luck that my best friend knew the city really well because he lived there once. You have to carry all of your things when you do not trust your mate who is sitting next to you. I had to carry e.g. my laptop during those three hours in a strange country and i got backpain. They also provided overpriced tickets for madame tussaud than anywhere else. They advised that their rented clubs are better than the others outside etc. I would not recommed anybody to take the service of MANGO Tours if he/she is not prepared to those situations. The service staff was not available after arrival in London because they were doing holiday in London too and had no time for questions. It might be a cheap service but thats what you get for your money. When my best friend asked the service personal in the bus why they are charging people for the "Bus City Tour" because that service was for free and taken for granted the past years. The service personal became really angry and impolite after that asked question. They denied and lied that this service was free the past years.

Point to note while choosing this tour: Tour guide will mostly speak in German even though he or she knows English well. They will not repeat or hit a common ground for your understanding. Why wouldn't a trip pick up in the morning, drive all day and drop us at the hotel so we can go from there? That is what other organized trips normally do. Pick up on our last day they grabbed our bags from the hotel at 10 am, we checked out at 12 and then met the bus at midnight in the city to take us home. Again, the time was funky on that. Why not arrange it so we are picked up to head home around hotel check out?! Overall a very rude experience, not to mention they didn't speak any english with us. They were able to speak it as they did on the first night but from then on they didn't at all. Given we were the small few, but regardless this was open to anyone in the area.

Noch dazu wurden alle anderen Reisenden von ihren Bluetooth-Lautsprechern mit Gangster-Rapmusik beschallt. In Novalja angekommen, wurde ich dem Apartment übergeben - und ich hatte eine schöne Woche. Ab da war der Urlaub richtig toll! Sonne pur und angenehmes Wasser. Die Kommunikation mit der Reiseleitung fand spärlich über eine Whatsapp-Nummer statt. (Zum Glück hatte ich mein Handy mit! Was ältere Leute ohne Smartphone-Kenntnisse gemacht hätten, weiss ich nicht) Ich hätte eigentlich noch ein "Armband" von Mango-Tours bekommen sollen. Auch sonst hat man von der Reiseleitung kaum was gehört. Am Abreisetag musste ich zu Fuß (!) bei 40 C° über die halbe Insel zum Bus-Treffpunkt laufen. Ich bin jung und körperlich in Topform. Trotzdem war ich nach einer Stunde Marsch in glühender Sonne mit 2 Koffern fix und fertig! Wie z.B eine ältere Dame 50+ das hinbekommen hätte, will ich lieber nicht wissen.... Auf der Rückfahrt im Mango-Bus dasselbe Spiel. Jugendliche mit Migrationshintergrund, die ihre Gangstermusik hörten, alles mit Chips vollkrümelten, usw. Maskenpflicht interessierte die überhaupt nicht, trotz Ansage des Fahrers (zum Glück kam die Polizei/Zoll nicht in den Bus an der Grenze!) Ich war echt froh, als ich wieder in München stand, ganz ehrlich! Ich werde beim nächsten Urlaub auf jeden Fall lieber das Flugzeug nehmen! --> Obwohl sich meine Bewertung auf Mango-Tours bezieht, möchte ich meine Erfahrung mit deren "Partner" Flixbus noch erwähnen: Einmal und nicht wieder! Ich bin mit dem Flixbus-Transfer von Karlsruhe nach München gefahren. Bis man mal den richtigen Bus gefunden hat, ist schon schwierig. Kaum ein Fahrer spricht Deutsch. Die Busnummer ist ganz, ganz kleingedruckt vorne in der Scheibe (man muss schon direkt davor stehen, um sie lesen zu können). Warum haben die keine Leuchttafel oben, wie jeder andere Bus auch? Der Bus war bis unters Dach voll mit "bunten und bereichernden Menschen", von denen keiner eine Mund/Nasenbedeckung auf hatte. Als ich später nach dem Mango-Urlaub von München wieder heim wollte, kam überhaupt kein Bus. Laut Plan hätte um 5:30, 6:00 und 6:15 einer fahren müssen. Ein anderer Bus, der auch über Karlsruhe nach Paris fuhr konnte/wollte/durfte mich nicht mitnehmen. Um 8:15 wurde es mir nach 3 Stunden warten zu blöd! Ich hab mir dann am Münchner Hbf ein Bahnticket gekauft und bin dann mit dem ICE 1.Klasse heimgefahren. DAS war Entspannung!

Ich habe mich wirklich in die Stadt verliebt, die Ausflüge waren alle richtig richtig gut organisiert und auch gut gewählt. Die beiden Reseleiter Magda und Ingolf waren auch einfach einsame Spitze und waren super organisiert, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Ich werden definitiv noch ein paar andere Touren ausprobieren - lege aber jedem die Amsterdam Tour (ich fand sie mit 2 Übernachtungen nochmal deutlich besser) ans Herz!

Reise wurde abgesagt. Das Geld für die Reise habe ich aber immernoch nicht zurück bekommen nach schon 4 Wochen! Als Antwort bekomme ich nur "ist in Bearbeitung in der Buchhaltung", bringt mir aber nichts weiter. Wenn es so weiter geht gehe ich damit zum Anwalt. Nicht empfehlenswert
