We booked a flight for a Sunday morning 4-5 weeks in advance. I felt like I had won the lottery, since I got through on their booking hotline on the first attempt. For a morning flight, they are supposed to confirm the night before (after 21:00), stating where the flight is to commence. Of course, there is no number you can call. You just wait for that SMS to arrive. We did not hear anything from them until Sunday at 13:00... an SMS stating the our evening (!) flight had been cancelled due to inclement weather. The weather in the morning had been beautiful! Too bad Skytours did not hold to their promise of a morning flight.

I got the voucher for my 40th birthday. That was 4 years ago now. Well, then Corona came, and then we (there were three of us in total) made appointments for two years that had to be canceled due to the weather. Of course this is disappointing and here and there people couldn't understand the decision. But ultimately you rely on the fact that everything will go well on the day of the balloon flight and that you will be back on the ground in good health. Now it was finally time and what can I say: the wait was more than worth it!!! It was a wonderful experience and I would take the wait again in a heartbeat! Auch während der gesamten Fahrt vermittelte der Pilot Sicherheit und sorgte dafür. dass wir uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt sicher und wohl fühlten. Der Abschluss der Fahrt samt Taufe und gemeinschaftlichem Abbau rundete das Erlebnis vollkommen ab! Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung!

Unglaublich schön, so eine Ballonfahrt und absolut empfehlenswert!!! Ich habe am Montag angerufen und direkt für Samstag früh die Morgenfahrt gebucht. Das Wetter hat es gut gemeint, denn es hat auch tatsächlich geklappt! Die Fahrt hat viel Spaß gemacht und ich habe mich die ganze Zeit über sehr sicher gefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank an Skytours und vor allem an Joachim und seine Helfer für die vielen schönen Momente, die ich erleben durfte.

Nach 8 Absagen kam die Fahrt gestern zustande. Und ich muss sagen, es war wirklich sehr schön. Was muss man wissen: die Terminabstimmung ist schwierig und kann echt dauern. Beim Auf- und Abbau muss man ganz schön mit anpacken. Aufbau, Flug, Taufe und Rücktransport haben 4,5 Stunden gedauert. Insgesamt waren 16 Passagiere im Korb. Der Flug selber war toll, ca. 70 Minuten und tolle Aussichten mit Sonnenuntergang. Die Landung war etwas holprig aber gut. Danach gab es Sekt und Wasser, sowie eine Taufurkunde.

Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir die nächste Ballonfahrt in Kittilä in Finnland gebucht haben Anfang Februar 2023. Wir sind am 3.6.23 um 5.30 in Bonn bei besten Bedingungen gestartet. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr sicher bei unserem sehr erfahrenen und lustigen Piloten Joachim. Die Landung war wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Es war ein wunderschönes Abenteuer und wir würden es jederzeit wiederholen. Es hat nur 3 Anläufe gebraucht bis wir eine Terminzusge bekommen haben. Prinzipiell finden Touren am Morgen eher statt als am Abend.

So, hier nun, die an Matthias (ich hoffe dein Name wird so geschrieben, verzeih mir bitte falls nicht) versprochene Bewertung. Vor etwa 2 Wochen haben wir zu dritt unsere lang gewünschte Ballonfahrt antreten können. Eins noch vorweg. Für unsere Fahrt wurden häufig Termine - auch bei schönstem Wetter - abgesagt. Wir waren auch nicht glücklich darüber. Nachdem ich mich aber mal informierte, wieviele Bedingungen stimmen müssen, damit eine sichere Fahrt stattfinden kann, war mir klar, dass eine Absage positiv zu bewerten ist. Sicherheit geht hier immer vor! Unsere Fahrt startete am Flugplatz in Wipperfürth. Als wir ankamen konnte man direkt die gute Stimmung der Anwesenden - vor allem die des Piloten Matthias - wahrnehmen. Matthias wirkte sehr freundlich, sympathisch, offen und gut gelaunt. Nach den Corona Maßnahmen erklärte Matthias verständlich den Ablauf der Veranstaltung. Als wir den Startplatz erreicht hatten gab uns Matthias eine ausführliche Einweisung in den Ablauf der Fahrt und wie wir uns wann zu verhalten haben. Alle Fragen zur Fahrt und zur Landung waren für alle geklärt. Matthias und sein Team teilten uns Gästen daraufhin freundlich aber bestimmt „Hilfsarbeiten“ für den Ballonaufbau zu. Das geschieht nicht weil sein Team keine Lust hat oder faul ist, sondern dies gehört zum Event dazu. Die Arbeiten dauern nicht lange und machen Spass. Mein Stiefsohn und ich hatten die Aufgabe die aufsteigende Ballonhülle mit einem Seil so zu fixieren, dass ein Überschwingen möglichst verhindert wird. Das war echt anstrengend aber super lustig, weil man keine Chance gegen die aufsteigende Hülle hat. Man wird am Seil 10 oder 20 m über das Gras gezogen. Die Fahrt selbst war bei wunderschönem Wetter. Matthias hatte jederzeit alles unter Kontrolle, glänzte mit Fachwissen und konnte alle Fragen problemlos beantworten. Darüber hinaus strahlte er eine enorme Sicherheit und Ruhe aus, wusste mit Anekdoten und Witz zu unterhalten und konnte Informationen zur sichtbaren Landschaft geben. Aufgrund seines Enthusiasmus war schnell klar, dass Ballonpilot zu sein eine Berufung und kein Beruf für Matthias ist. Er ist Berufspilot mit Leib und Seele, Ausbilder, Zeugwart und sogar Instruktor am Nürburgring für Rennevents, die Skytours im teÜbrigen neben Alpenüberquerungen und Großevents auch anbietet. Matthias nahm uns mit in „höhere“ Höhen, fuhr mit uns aber auch niedrig über Felder, Wiesen und Hauser. Echt ein Erlebnis. Sogar die Tiere am Boden reagierten auf uns. Es ist ganz friedlich und ruhig da oben, solange die Brenner nicht gezündet werden. Als wir zur Landung ansetzten dachte ich zunächst es wäre etwas früh, doch nicht lange nach der Landung wurde es dunkel, sodass Matthias auch hier perfekte Arbeit leistete. Nach dem Zusammenpacken, bei dem wir auch wieder halfen, gab es noch Sekt und Wasser sowie die traditionelle Erhebung in den Adelsstand. Auch dies war wieder von Spass und Witz geprägt und ich hatte nie das Gefühl, dass dies nur schnell erledigt werden sollte, um rasch nach Hause zu kommen. Hiernach wurden wir zum Flughafen zurückgefahren, wo wir uns entspannt und fröhlich verabschiedeten. Eine kleinen Kritikpunkt habe ich allerdings! Am Starttag hieß es, es wären noch zwei Plätze 2, wir könnten noch Personen mitbringen. Als wir ankamen waren wir erstaunt festzustellen, dass es keine freien Plätze gab! Hätten wir jetzt jemanden mitgebracht, dann hätte der dumm da gestanden. Da muss also in der Organisation/Kommunikation bei Skytours etwas schief gelaufen sein. Das darf nicht passieren! Bitte besser organisieren! Alles in allem aber ein hervorragendes Event, an dem allerdings Matthias einen großen Anteil hatte. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen! Die Fotos sind wegen des Datenschutzes leider sehr dürftig. Also Matthias, allzeit gute Fahrt, hat echt Spass gemacht. Ich hoffe wir sehen uns mal wieder, allerdings sind die Events, für die ich mich interessieren würde, grade nicht finanzierbar. Viele Grüße und alles Liebe Dirk Bauer

Ein toller Tag dank perfekter Organisation. Es gab zwar insgesamt 15 absagen aber diese dienten der Sicherheit. Bin im größten Ballon Deutschlands gefahren der 25 Personen Platz bietet. Bei Start und Landung musste man mithelfen aber das trägt zum Erlebnis bei. Start und Landung waren perfekt und wären der Fahrt hab ich mich sehr sicher gefühlt. 👍👍👍👍👍

Auch wenn ich 2 Jahre auf einen Termin gewartet habe, ich würde immer wieder warten um solch einen Moment mit der Heißluftballonfahrt erleben zu dürfen und diese Aussicht zu haben! Es war wunderschön und auch die Piloten sind super lieb und nett mit ihrem Team

The worst experience and the worst service I have ever had. I bought tickets as a gift for my boyfriend a year ago. But it seems we will never use them. Our balloon trip was already canceled 3 times...due to the weather reasons. But the weather was perfect those days. Like there were other balloons in the sky..So the other companies could have made it. There are almost no dates available, so you get the one in 4 months and wait for this magic day and then when finally 4 months has passed they will send you an sms (which is all the time the same one) that your trip is canceled. Moreover, if you want to get a new appointment, It will take ages to get through to the hot line and reschedule it! I would be happy to get my money back, cause I paid fortune for that, but they say I can not get it back. Maybe there are still some decent companies, which provide good service and Ballonfahrt experience..But it is definitely not about THIS company. THINK TWICE before BUYING TICKETS HERE!!!!!!

The event was marvellous. The pilot was very senior and had a lot of funny stories to share. For me it was the first ride so anything (setup, start, cruise, land, and packaging) was very exciting. I took one star of because of the long waiting time until my ride could happen. It took me over two years and about 10 attempts until it really happened. So my recommendation is just stay patient and wait until the weather conditions really fit.
