Cars on the bridge sound like white noise, and the airplanes started flying overhead at 9:30pm for us but stopped after an hour or so. Really nice cycle route into cologne from the campsite, we got to the cathedral in about 20 minutes. Warm showers and clean toilets.

Called in here at 1pm on Sunday 10th April. Goal was to empty our toilet waste and have some lunch and rest a few hours in the campervan. We didn't want to stay overnight, but were happy to pay for a nights pitch at full price. The owner just said no as soon as I mentioned not wanting to sleep, didn't give any reason just said no. I felt like I was polite and had offered to pay normal price. If I could understand the reason I would maybe rethink my star rating. But as it stands a firm 0 from me and I wouldn't come back to even stay overnight.

Expensive for what it is. We’re told it was a price for the campervan, then added two adults on top and two kids plus power. We’re then told once we set up that the kids were older and had to pay adult prices(14 and 15 years old), and had to pay for two little tents on our site because the kids had decided to sleep in their hike tents and not the van for a night. Ended up being nearly €100 for the night. If we weren’t already set up I would have just found somewhere else or a hotel for that price. Best to steer clear of this campsite.

Showers included in price and all facilities clean and well maintained. Approx 5k easy ride into the city centre. Right by the Rhine but also a busy main road bridge so not the quietest of settings, but it’s a city camping so fair enough.

From there another 15 minutes to get to the center. A taxi will do it within 15 minutes but will cost you 18 euros. The campsite's bathroom was filthy and smelly, long waiting lines for toilets and shower witch will cost you 2 euro each time. Total ripoff since you pay 31 euros a night for a tiny spot. It was really cramped, so zero privacy! Badly maintained site and staff totally unprofessional and not very friendly. Worst camping I've been to. Won't recommend it!
