If only Google maps had 6 stars... We came to koln at night, exhausted and hungry, we saw, right next to our cute hotel, this wonderful vegan restaurant... The place itself is amazing!!! Beautiful design, clean. The waitress was so nice and welcoming!!! The food was so beautiful for the eyes and stomach 💚💚 I would love to come back!!!

Durch und durch zu empfehlen. Wir waren zu zweit im Restaurant und das Essen war sehr gut. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war durchweg höflich. Uns wurde eine Platte mit Sushi als Geschenk des Hauses serviert. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und lädt zum wohlfühlen ein. Die Preise sind sehr fair, wir hatten bei keinem Gericht oder Getränk die Sorge das es überteuert wäre. Ich habe es bereits an Freunde und Familie weiterempfohlen und werde es künftig weiter empfehlen, genau so wie ich sehr gerne wieder komme. Auf jeden Fall ein neues Restaurant auf der "Lieblingsliste".

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, es ist schön angerichtet, es gibt viel Auswahl und alles ist vegan. Das Ambiente ist auch ganz schön. Ich war jetzt zwei Mal in dem Restaurant, beim ersten Mal hätte ich fünf Sterne gegeben. Leider hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Qualität des Essens ein bisschen nachgelassen hat. Der Service ist meist freundlich. Die Preise sind allerdings sehr hoch. Insgesamt aber definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Tolles veganes Essen, große Mengen zum Sattwerden, dennoch ausgefallen und raffiniert kombiniert. Könnte was schärfer sein und würziger. Nett eingerichtet, etwas zu laut. Service schnell auch wenn viel los ist. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen.

We had 7 tapas. Raspberry and tofu, golden bag, la lot dau phu, summer roll, pink lady and Dino-Eier. For drinks, we had the 556 and the first one from the same page. I enjoy my drink a lot. It’s refreshing and not too sweet. We liked all the tapas and la lot dau phu was our least favorite due to the flavor or texture. Besides tapas, they also serve bowls and sushi. The sushi from other customers looked good as well.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Große Auswahl an Tapas sowie hausgemachten Getränken. Bowls waren ebenfalls lecker und die Portionen groß. Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Die Einrichtung war modern und stimmig, Personal sehr freundlich. Leider aber nur Barzahlung möglich.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This place was amazing. From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything was just perfect! We ordered 6 different dishes and shared between the two of us. They were all mouth-watering delicious. These guys have just opened and are definitely worth supporting! Also great for non-vegans.

Amazing food! Even our non vegan guests said nothing was missing and the food was just delicious. Take lots of plates and share amongst the table so you get to taste a broad variety. Also food presentation was on point. Cannot wait to come back here!

Very impressed with this place - amazing Asian vegan Tapas-Style food. Very tasty and some creative combinations (including raspberry sauce). Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to come back, the bowls looked great.

I loved this place, definitely will visit again! Great vegan food, huuge variety of it and the prices are affordable in my opinion. We didn't wait long for food, everything was fresh and tasty. I was the only vegan in the group and the rest enjoyed it as much as I did!

Incredibly delicious and fresh food. I ordered the Buddha bowl and the tofu and sauce were out of this world. The allergens on their menu are thoroughly labeled, so it was easy to order glutenfree dishes in addition to being vegan. The statt was very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting.

Amazing food, very big portions. Nice vibe and decor. Only take cash so just be aware of that. Lettuce was used as a garnish on most dishes which was very bitter so not very edible, seemed like a waste of food. Took a long time to get the bill

If you are looking for a great atmosphere, delicious food and an amazing service look no further. Hard to see from the outside, but Udum provides an excellent experience. Our server Emma was friendly and amazingly attentive. Both me and my vegan friend loved it equally. The food was incredibly tasteful and they had many different options to choose from, all great.

The best Coconut Soup with a lemon grass! A great overall experience. Tasty food, a great overall experience. I highly recommend the Coconut Soup (for a tapas) which is really delicious. This place is beautiful, has friendly staff, plays calming piano covers of Kpop songs, and has so many delicious vegan Asian foods and drinks. I wasn't disappointed with a single dish. What more could you want?! I especially recommend the coconut soup and lychee cloud drink!

Amazing food!!! So much choice and it was all delicious. The food came out very quickly, even when it got busy. Seems like a reservation is needed since it got quite crowded. Sushi was very original flavors, "fish" tasted like the real thing!

Popular even early on a Sunday evening and I can see why. Asian inspired tapas dishes, with great flavours and nicely presented. Five dishes between two of us was plenty and the hot teas were great. Good service too.

Best vegan place in town! We visited twice during our citytrip because it was so good. One of the best places I ever ate. Good food, yummy drinks, nice atmosphere and good service. Note that there can be a queue, but the wait is worth it. We also visited another vegan Vietnamese place which was well rated, but Udum exceeds that one by far. Thank you for this experience, we will come back!

Nice location. Quick service. Good smell and look, but the tempei is not tasty. The portions could be smaller. My Udumbara Bowl was huge for a lunch box 😂 I would suggest to add an option to oder some bouillon to bowls. I would have appreciated it. The fresh Ginger-Orange-Tea looks very nice and is tasty. There is a small portion of a sirup inside. The older service girl was unfriendly and busy, I changed on a table of the other service girl and she was extremely nice to me. In general I enjoyed it and will come once again for sushi or asian tapas with friends 👍

Sehr leckeres veganes Sushi, und die crispy „Shrimps“ 🍤 waren der hammer! Zu den Bao Buns muss ich aber ehrlich sagen: hatte schon bessere, die deutlich fluffiger waren. Insgesamt lohnt sich ein Besuch aber! Die selbstgemachten alkoholfreien Drinks sind auch toll und was fürs Auge!

What a super experience. We came at 17h on a sunday and were suprised to see it full. They kindly found us a spot. Everything was delicious, so great to not have to think what your chosing from, as all is animal exploitation free :D loved to finally have a coco soup I could eat ! Also a nice selection of (alcohol free) drinks ! everything came very fast.

Really good addition to Cologne's culinary scene. We ordered several things to share and we really liked them (maybe some of them such as the tartar could have been more salted, but thats a very forgiving mistake). The prices were quite reasonable, we spent for 4 people including drinks 62 euros.

We got a couple of small dishes, that were mostly very tasty. The one thing we disliked was the spring roll with fruit in it, it tasted like nothing really, don't order that. The mocktails were excellent. Don't come here on Friday or Saturday evening without a reservation. There was a long line outside, people waited for more than 30 minutes in the cold. The service was extremely fast. Only cash payment is accepted.

I quite liked this place, food was fresh and flavourful and very quick to receive. I can see this getting into my rotation of places to go for lunch. Service was a bit hit-and-miss depending on which staff member you got.

I‘ve been very excited to visit this place because it was recommended to me by a friend. It’s a vegan fusion kitchen based on asian food, I‘d say. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and gives it a sophisticated look. However, our seating option wasn’t the best. We sat at an narrow aisle, no place left and right, behind us people were crossing to serve or to go to the bathroom. It wasn’t inviting us to stay longer for drinks. The menu is big, a bit too big for my taste because it makes it very hard to choose from. I usually go by the smaller the menu, the better the food. Quality over quantity. I visited with a friend and we decided to go with many small dishes to share. We had a couple Sushi rolls - Sake, Shitake and Rainbow. Also some Har Cao, Bunh Bao, Won Ton Soup, Gyoza. I‘m very familiar with the asian cuisine, so to say, I liked the Har Cao very much. They were brilliant. The won ton soup was odd, as it had fried Won Tons, not boiled. And the soup was very salty. The Bun Bao was ok. I was most disappointed about the Sushi Rolls. They all tasted the same. Same consistency throughout all rolls and barely any depth in flavors. They are nice to look at, but that is about it. Having order so many different dishes, my mouth was still cored after a while, because it all tasted a bit too sweet, all sauces have the same basis, the sushis are very flat and had little texture. This place is greatly hyped, probably because it’s all vegan. I think it’s great they offer completely vegan options. Give it a try yourself.

I'm with the other reviewers. I wish I could give it 6 stars. You get the experience of Michelin star restaurant for a quarter or tenth of the price.

Visited here last summer after it had just opened and it was amazing. Great for vegetarians and vegans. The menu selection was great and prices were reasonable. Staff were super friendly. Maybe a few more beers on the menu would be a good idea. But cannot complain. Great venue and I hope they do well

Vegan paradise! Great food, great preparations, beautiful place, awesome staff, reasonable price. It was a great experience, the food as spectacular as you can see from the pictures but also very tasty. The menu is really wide, with a separate stomach I would love to try them all. Beautiful place, and super fast service, I will came back there next time in Koln.

Super tasty. Great combo of vegan and asian kitchen. Very well made and served with care. They forgot to bring my tea and did not apologize or ask me if i still wanted it (but that's being really punctual :-) ). I will be back for more! Veggie heaven.

I have been there three times and i really love it! The menu is quite big which gives you a lot of choice - quite rare as a vegan to have so much choice. The food is really tasty, especially the soups! The drinks may be a bit too pricey …
