Ein echter Pilot hat uns die ganze Zeit über sehr freundlich betreut, uns bei kniffligen Situationen an den Instrumenten unterstützt und auch viele interessante Hintergrundinfos aus seiner Piloten-Zeit erzählt. Schön war, dass wir ab Minute 1 sofort losrollen konnten und die Theorie wurde quasi während der Praxis erläutert. Alle Knöpfe und Hebel waren funktional und machen mit der entsprechenden Beleuchtung so einen tollen Eindruck, dass man ganz schnell vergisst, nur in einem Simulator zu sitzen. Mein persönliches Highlight war, dass beim ersten Landeanflug (unbeabsichtigt) beide Autopiloten ausgefallen sind und wir plötzlich bei blinkenden Warnlämpchen manuell die finale Landung durchführen mussten. Es war dann echt ein Gänsehaut-Moment, in einer gewagten Kurve und mit den Händen fest an Steuerknüppel und Schubhebel zu landen, während der Instructor schnell die wichtigsten Maßnahmen nannte. Mein Vater und ich mussten uns blitzschnell abstimmen und konnten mit Teamarbeit den Vogel (halbwegs) sicher runterbringen, was natürlich ein stolzes Erfolgserlebnis für uns beide war :). In den zwei Stunden konnten wir sowohl per Autopliot als auch manuell mehrfach starten und landen, geflogen wurde virtuell von Köln-Bonn über Frankfurt und wieder zurück.
