Impressions:
I
recently
visited
this
park
again
after
many
years.
Only
single,
rough
memories
-
shaped
by
the
child's
spirit
-
opened
up
during
the
outward
journey.
However,
this
was
surprisingly
pleasant
for
me,
although
the
Duisburg
subway
-
in
my
opinion
-
could
go
through
a
war
again
and
tolerate
a
subsequent
new
building.
The
admission
price
was
capitalistically
appropriate,
but
above
all
compared
to
other
zoos.
Although
the
Duisburg
Zoo
wins
in
the
price
war,
it
is
subject
to
all
other
categories
of
my
highly
scientific
rating
system.
If
I
take
a
superficial
approach,
I
have
to
admit
that
I
would
not
take
the
Duisburg
Zoo
home
with
me.
Sure,
the
beauty
awareness
of
a
typical
Duisburg
may
well
be
satisfied
when
visiting
this
animal
sanctuary,
but
what
expectations
should
one
have
of
a
people
who
turned
off
the
lifesaver
in
the
heart
of
the
city
and
declared
it
a
trademark.
In
any
case,
I
would
swipe
to
the
left
at
Zoo-Tinder,
because
this
zoo,
opened
in
1933,
looks
-
for
my
sensation
-
like
an
old
lady
who
tries
to
alleviate
her
facial
furrows
with
a
lot
of
putty,
only
that
the
zoo
omits
the
putty.
The
cages
seemed
overgrown
and
neglected
to
me,
although
employees
tried
to
look
"working".
Carried
branches
from
A
to
B,
hung
through
back
doors
and
came
out.
What
you
do
as
a
zookeeper.
In
general,
the
mood
of
the
animals
living
there
seemed
to
me,
I
am
not
an
animal
psychologist,
but
for
me
animals
in
zoos
always
look
unhappy
(except
for
dolphins,
who
always
laugh,
who
love
to
live
in
the
non-swimmer
pool),
to
transfer
themselves
to
the
hearts
of
the
employees
.
But
the
joy
of
the
seals
(or
seals,
is
there
a
difference?)
About
the
fish
sticks
could
not
outweigh
the
lovelessness
of
the
feeding
employee.
But
who
should
you
blame
here?
After
years
of
work,
every
customer
ends
up
annoying.
The
service,
so
the
toilets
and
the
catering
were
ok.
One
in
five
urinals
is
sufficient
if
only
one
has
to
pee.
The
kiosks
were
apparently
privately
owned
and
were
managed
in
different
ways,
in
terms
of
quality
and
content.
But
I
think
here
was
a
new
dream
job.
How
I
would
like
to
have
a
small
kiosk
in
the
heart
of
Spain,
which
is
located
in
a
zoo.
The
sale
of
overpriced
products
would
be
put
into
perspective
by
visitors
with
the
event
character
of
the
trip
and
I
could
just
buy
this
zoo
in
a
few
years.
In
short:
The
Duisburg
Zoo
shoots.
At
all
levels.
A
trip
with
children
is
recommended,
since
children
have
no
criteria
for
anything
anyway,
except
that
the
slime
in
the
ZooShop
should
not
be
more
expensive
than
17
euros.
Animal
lovers
also
get
their
money's
worth,
as
they
can
talk
to
demonstrators
about
animal
welfare
at
the
entrance.
Pokémon
Go
suitability:
Many
PokéStops
and
arenas
available.
(Original)
Eindrücke:
Neulich
besuchte
ich
diesen
Park
nach
vielen
Jahren
erneut.
Lediglich
einzelne,
grobe
-
vom
Kindesgeiste
geprägte
-
Erinnerung
taten
sich
während
der
Hinfahrt
auf.
Diese
war
für
mich
jedoch
überraschend
angenehm,
obgleich
die
Duisburger
U-Bahn
-
meiner
Meinung
nach
-
durchaus
nochmal
einen
Krieg
durchmachen
und
einen
darauffolgenden
Neubau
vertragen
könnte.
Der
Eintrittspreis
war
kapitalistisch
angemessen,
vor
allem
aber
auch
im
Vergleich
zu
anderen
Zoos.
Obwohl
der
Duisburger
Zoo
im
Preiskampf
gewinnt,
unterliegt
er
doch
in
allen
anderen
Kategorien
meines
hoch-wissenschaftlichen
Bewertungssystems.
Gehe
ich
oberflächlich
an
die
Sache
heran,
muss
ich
zugeben,
dass
ich
den
Duisburger
Zoo
nicht
mit
nach
Hause
nehmen
würde.
Klar,
das
Schönheitsbwusstsein
eines
typischen
Duisburgers
mag
durchaus
beim
Besuch
dieser
Tieranstalt
befriedigt
werden,
aber
welche
Erwartungen
soll
man
haben,
an
ein
Volk
welches
sich
den
Lifesaver
im
Herzen
der
Stadt
abgestellt
und
zum
Markenzeichen
erklärt
hat.
Ich
jedenfalls
würde
beim
Zoo-Tinder
nach
links
wischen,
da
dieser
1933
eröffnete
Zoo
-
für
mein
Empfinden
-
ausschaut
wie
eine
alte
Dame
die
sich
mit
viel
Spachtelmasse
darum
bemüht
ihre
Gesichtsfurchen
abzumildern,
nur
das
der
Zoo
die
Spachtelmasse
weglässt.
Die
Käfige
wirkten
auf
mich
zugewuchert
und
verwahrlost,
obgleich
Mitarbeiter
sich
darum
bemühten
“arbeitend”
auszusehen.
Trugen
Äste
von
A
nach
B,
hingen
durch
Hintertüren
und
kamen
wieder
raus.
Was
man
halt
so
macht
als
Tierpfleger.
Generell
schien
sich
das
Gemüt
der
dort
lebenden
Tiere,
ich
bin
kein
Tierpsychologe
aber
für
mich
sehen
Tiere
in
Zoos
immer
unglücklich
aus
(außer
Delphine,
die
lachen
immer,
die
lieben
es
im
NIchtschwimmerbecken
zu
leben),
sich
auch
auf
die
Herzen
der
MItarbeiter
zu
übertragen.
Doch
die
Freude
der
Robben
(oder
Seehunde,
gibt
es
da
einen
Unterschied?)
über
die
Fischstäbchen
konnte
die
Lieblosigkeit
des
fütternden
Mitarbeiters
nicht
übertrumpfen.
Aber
wem
soll
man
hier
einen
Vorwurf
machen?
Nach
Jahren
im
Beruf
nervt
am
Ende
jeder
Kunde.
Der
Service,
also
die
Toiletten
und
die
Gastronomie
waren
ok.
Eine
von
fünf
Urinalen
reicht
schließlich
aus,
wenn
nur
einer
Pinkeln
muss.
Die
Kioske
waren
offenbar
in
privater
Hand
und
wurden,
qualitativ
und
inhaltlich
unterschiedlich
geführt.
Aber
ich
denke
hier
ergab
sich
mir
ein
neuer
Traumjob.
Wie
gerne
hätte
ich
einen
kleinen
Kiosk
im
Herzen
Spaniens,
welcher
in
einem
Zoo
liegt.
Der
Verkauf
von
überteuerten
Produkten
würde
von
Besuchern
mit
dem
Event-Charakter
des
Ausflugs
relativiert
werden
und
ich
könnte
in
einigen
Jahren
diesen
Zoo
einfach
kaufen.
Kurzum:
Der
Zoo
Duisburg
ballert.
Auf
allen
Ebenen.
Ein
Ausflug
mit
Kindern
sei
zu
empfehlen,
da
Kinder
ohnehin
keine
Kriterien
für
irgendwas
haben,
außer
das
der
Schleim
im
ZooShop
nicht
teurer
als
17
Euro
sein
darf.
Tierliebhaber
kommen
ebenfalls
auf
ihre
Kosten,
da
sie
am
Eingang
mit
Demonstranten
über
das
Tierwohl
reden
können.
Pokémon
Go
Tauglichkeit:
Viele
PokéStops
und
Arenen
vorhanden.
