Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit in Waren an der Müritz. Ein Ort wo man viel erleben und entdecken kann. Es ist sehr beliebt als Urlaubsziel und deshalb etwas überlaufen. Meine Empfehlung ist, eine Bootsfahrt mit einem der vielen Ausflugsschiffen. Im Ort gibt es viele Restaurants in denen man sehr gut frischen Fisch essen kann. (Original) Ein langes Wochenende haben wir Ende Mai 2022 in Waren (Müritz) verbracht. Das Wetter war nicht unbedingt so perfekt, aber für eine Stadtführung reichte es auf alle Fälle. Diese wird jeden Tag angeboten und man kann sich dem entsprechend zur rechten Zeit an bzw. in der Tourist-Information kurzfristig anmelden. Das Interesse scheint gut zu sein. Die freundliche Beratung durch die Mitarbeiterin der Einrichtung, die kompetente Beratung und die hervorragende Stadtführung am Ende verdienen die 5 Sterne wirklich. Die Stadtführung geht dann auch eben nicht 1,5 Stunden sondern 2 Stunden und die Zeit vergeht wie im Fluge. Man wird zu den üblichen sicher interessanten Stätten geführt, aber nicht nur das, sondern man entdeckt Kleinigkeiten, welchen einem nicht wirklich allein ins Auge fallen würden. Sicher ist dies auch abhängig von der Stadtführerin, aber es macht einfach Spaß, auch wenn man jetzt nicht der Historiker selbst ist, sondern eben nur etwas über dem Ort wissen will, wo man seinen Urlaub verbringt. In der Touristik-Information findet man ebenfalls noch viele hilfreiche Druckunterlagen, welche man für seine Eigenen Ausflüge nutzen kann. Wichtig ist sicher auch, dass man hier die aktuellen Informationen zu Veranstaltungen findet, welche man vielleicht ja auch besuchen möchte. Das Büro liegt zentral, Parkplätze sind in der Nähe und auf dem Marktplatz kann man sich entweder vor der Führung oder eben danach noch stärken.

Wir waren das erst mal hier in dem schönen Ort. Sie hat uns ganz in Ruhe gezeigt wo wir unsere Informationen finden können. Das war echt prima und hat uns sehr geholfen. 😀

Ein von Touristen stark frequentierter Urlaubsort. Die Innenstadt quillt über von regem Treiben. Viele Geschäfte, Cafés, Restaurants und kleine und größere Geschäfte. Hübscher Marktplatz. Am Hafen gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zu entspannen oder genießen. Am Hafen vorbei kann man gut den See und den großen Landschaftspark erkunden. Gleich am Hafen sollte man ein tolles Fischrestaurant besuchen, dessen Duft von frisch geräuchertem Fisch sehr verlockend ist. Auch die Außenanlage ist sehr originell angelegt und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr, sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Vorbei an super modernen Ferienwohnungen kann man am See in Richtung Ecktannen entlang spazieren. Ein sehr schöner, dichter Mischwald. Zwischendurch gibt es immer wieder Aussichtspunkte direkt am Wasser mit Sitzbänken. Überhaupt wirkt alles sehr gepflegt bei diesem großen Areal. Es gibt ein Restaurant am See, das aber erst ab Abend geöffnet ist. Eine schön angelegte Badestelle mit Grillplatz und Hundestrand. Über den Campingplatz kommt man in die Fontanestraße, auf der man zu Fuß oder per Bus in die Stadt zurückkommt. Auf dem Campingplatz befindet sich ein kleines Bistro für die Stärkung zwischendurch. Gutes Angebot, leckeres Essen, schöne Terrasse und sehr, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. In der Fontanestraße finden sich sehr große Villen und ein Streichelzoo. Alles in allem lohnt sich unbedingt ein Besuch an der Müritz mit all den vielen Erholungsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugszielen.

Eine hübsche Stadt mit einem tollen Museum (Müritzeum). Allerdings im Juni (keine Ferien aber WE) schon sehr voll. Imbiss und Souvenirshops auch nicht ganz günstig.
