Went on a Tuesday mid July. Park was fairly busy but literally everything was shut down. It rained for a bit but other than that it was just cloudy but they kept the rides and games closed anyways. I was there for 4 hours and got to ride 1 ride and play 1 game, the rest of the time was us walking around the park trying to find something to do. The animal exhibits were cool though, animals were very active. Don’t get the all day dining. It only works for certain restaurants and their food is sub par at best since it seems it’s not very organized in terms of making it and getting it out. I got chicken tenders and fries and it made me almost puke (I hate saying this because I know it’s an amusement park, but this was just bad). The one ride I rode was fun though, it was the new iron coaster and was a lot of fun. Line went by at a decent pace and the ride itself was fun. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed it. Honestly, just save your money and go to universal or somewhere else. $300 to waste that I can’t get a refund on!

We went to Busch Gardens for a day when it got a bit chilly for beach fun. It was Monday, December, 3rd, the last day of Christmas break and it wasn’t very crowded. Quick queue passes and all day dining made our day really easy and stress free. These triple the cost of your ticket but are well worth it, if don’t want to spend all the time in lines and have several teenagers in the family who eat a lot like we do. All day dining includes an entrée, a side or desert and a fountain drink in any of 5 main restaurants every hour. It doesn’t include any snacks or other food vendors. Mind: you still have to wait in lines to get food in restaurants, so we didn’t even go to a BBQ place that smelled so good, the line was probably more than an hour long there and we didn’t want to waste time. We also went on Serengeti safari tour and loved it: got to feed the giraffes and see all the animals up close. The rides are awesome, me and our youngest kid 9y.o. did some family friendly rides, which were too much for me anyways (I just can’t do any roller coasters). My husband with older kids had a blast on all the crazy rides. Everyone loved our day in Busch Gardens, we’ll definitely be back.

We arrived shortly before 9am and there were cars already waiting in line. The park opens at 10am, however, they opened the lines for parking at 930am. You can either walk to the gates or take the tram. If you have purchased tickets online, you can go directly to the self-ticketing kiosk, and scan your printout and you will receive your tickets. The park is nice, loved being able to see the animals. It was cold, so going on the roller coasters was interesting 🥶 the best ride for me was Cobra's Curse. Loved going backwards and spinning in the coater cart 💯 but it was a short ride! The longest waiting ride, is Cheetah Hunt. You will want to ride this one as soon as you get in! Definitely lots to see and do. I suggest more spots for purchasing coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Too cold for ice cold beer! LOL!

Still one of the best theme parks for those who want an alternative to Disney. Amazing for thrill seekers and coaster fiends. It's ride and garden centric without over-the-top characters and themes. Has a lot to offer for kids and adults in regards to rides, shows and dining. I highly recommend going weekday off season where lines for even the biggest, newest rides are under 10 minutes. We went end of February on a Tuesday and got on all the coasters within 5 minutes. The coasters are modern, well designed, thrilling and helluva fun without being jarring; not to mention loads of variety. Can't lose! Love the park design and my 4 yr old daughter had a blast at Sesame Street place (kids section) especially the tree house.

Our visit was on Groundhog Day, lucky us, six more weeks of cooler weather. Great day to stroll this amazing theme park. Animals appeared to be more active today than in the heat of summer. Wonderful wildlife (caged or fenced in) viewing areas throughout the park. Many thrill rides and children areas. A very nice train ride where you can see many different animals. Train has wheelchair access on board. A variety of dining options; somewhat pricey. Lunch for two, Chicken Tenders / Fries / two drinks can set you back over $30. There is 10% off food, 20% off merchandise with annual pass. Check web site as prices and offers may change. Many of the attraction and shows were closed due to maintenance or health concerns. Just the same, a very enjoyable day out with family. Park is clean and staff are polite and pleasant. Recommended checking website for prices, events, and times before showing up in the parking lot.

I visited Busch Gardens Tampa recently and had a fantastic experience. Unlike some of the busier Orlando parks, Busch Gardens had a more relaxed atmosphere, which I really appreciated. It allowed me to enjoy the attractions without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. The park offers a great mix of thrilling rides and entertaining shows, making it a fun day out for all ages. I especially loved the animal encounters and beautifully landscaped areas. Busch Gardens Tampa is a must-visit if you're looking for a less hectic but still exciting theme park experience.

This place is a hidden gem. Not too crowded. Get here early and the lines for rides are not bad at all. The later you stay, the longer the lines get for the rides. The staff are helpful and friendly. The animals are worth the trip. So many to see. Gorgeous representation of their species. The park is clean. They do an outstanding job of keeping it presentable. Cost of food here is like you would expect at an amusement park. Quality of food is subpar at the locations we did try. Overall, my visit was amazing. It was well worth the visit. One FULL day is all that's needed to do everything you need to do here. Two FULL days will allow you to get your complete fill of the amusement park.

This is my first time at this location. I was very surprised to find that not only does the park have rides and attractions but it also has a grief focus on wild animals. There is an Animal Care Center that you can enter and at times there will be a veterinarian taking care of an animal. There are exam rooms that have clear glass in front of them so that you can observe what the doctor does with the animals. The park seems to be well-designed for families. I would recommend this place if you want thrill rides animals and family fun!

Great rides staff is rude and acts like they hate their job . Don't get me started on the waste of money on the highest season passes we paid for . No preferred parking we are always told and there is always plenty of spots open , extremely rude parking people at the pay booths saying they have security and I'm not allowed to even look to see if they have any spots open when that was a lie . Aside from that the park is dirty and they choose to do yearly maintenance on rides when it gets warm outside and not in off season . Now keep in mind aside from that they have a lot of nice rides and it's beautiful and peaceful there at night time so don't not go cause of a few issues . If you like coasters then it's a great place

Ups and downs when it came to our time. Many rides broke down or had "unexpected delays." Had another issue when trying g to get a themed cup to get refills but the staff simply said they were out. This was at the start of the day. This also happened with a popcorn bucket. Seems strange they wouldn't stock up or have someone get more. It wasn't the fact that they were out as much as it was the attitudes from the staff. There were many good things. Rides we did go on were extremely fun. We had two day pass. One day was extremely busy on a Saturday, and the other was easy to get on rides. Great place for young kids with an entire section for them. We also had a food pass which I strongly recommend. Great deal if you are planning to be at the park all day. Lines for food can be long.

Went in mid-December. Perfect time to go. It was slow enough that we only waited 40 minutes for 2 rides. Best roller coasters!!!! Most refreshment stands were closed, exhibits were closed, and it just seemed dated. This is the reason for the 4-star. Worth the price for a black Friday deal.

This theme park has a lot going on! From Safari ventures to kids rides and play areas with a splash pad to giant roller coasters. This theme park was lots of fun. The food was simple but good. My kids had uncrustables, chicken tenders and oranges. Everyone was pleasant, especially for it being a busy holiday weekend. It was very family friendly and we enjoyed the train ride. The train has 2 stops around the park to allow you to get off in different areas. The parking lot wasn't bad either.

I recently visited Busch Gardens in Tampa, and it was an incredible experience! The park is a perfect blend of thrilling rides and amazing animal encounters. The roller coasters like SheiKra and Cheetah Hunt were a blast, and the animal exhibits were both educational and entertaining. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the park was clean and well-maintained. The food options were diverse, and I particularly enjoyed the dining experience at Serengeti Overlook Restaurant. The landscaping and scenery throughout the park are stunning, making it a great place to enjoy a day outdoors. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or looking for a fun family day out, Busch Gardens has something for everyone. I can't wait to return for more adventures and excitement. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to Busch Gardens, and we had a great time. A lot of fun activities, rides, and animals to see for our 5 year old grandson. The train ride was wonderful. It's a great park. Clean, lots of walking but easy to get around. Super fun for this age group

We really enjoyed the park, there was so much to do we were a group with kids between 3 and 12 years old and at any time it was a problem since they have such a great variety of interests. From Elmo to Sheikra there was something for everyone to enjoy, make sure to get the popcorn and the refillable soda it would make your day go smoothly. Beside all the rides you can also enjoy a beautiful ride on the train around the park and see all the animals.

Fun stop. The day we went there was lots of cars in the parking lot but not as many people. So that worked out really well for the rides and the lines for the rides. It was a hot day so the animals were hiding on the Safari for the most part but there were enough to enjoy. Roller coasters are amazing and the people they were really friendly. I definitely recommend going there with your children.

I love Busch gardens. I used to go to the one in Virginia. I felt it was much better in the terms of maintenance. May be the Tampa bay park isn’t that well maintained probably due to they just opening to public after Covid. I had gone to this park in the late summer of last year. This location also has a small zoo. The roller coasters are pretty good, the park has something for everyone. They also have shows. Would definitely come back here.

Love this place and the events they throw throughout the year. Definitely the type of amusement park where you get the best of both worlds: thrilling rollercoasters and viewing animals! Definitely being a local, it’s worth it to get an annual pass for the perks and discounts. My friends and I love coming for the special events each month and seeing new shows and performances that come in or eat during their food-festival events. We are big fans of the regular foods available all-year, too, where this park definitely is above other theme parks in the state for food quality and cost. The animals look well cared for. The staff in the animal’s spaces can answer a lot of questions about them. You can also see that they have buildings dedicated to animal rehabilitation (like surgeries) and conservation efforts. Of course this is Florida and the weather can be nasty at times, they will close down rides due to weather issues in the area. This is when my friends and I would catch a show or go walk by the animal areas if it’s lightly drizzling. All the rides are outdoors, so it’s likely when the weather reports say it’s raining that all of the rides are down for that time. Parking is $30, if you are a silver or gold annual pass member, it’s free.

Excellent experience. Going in the middle of the week during off season has risks with weather. Our visit had a thunderstorm so everything shut down for an hour. Nice job keeping everyone safe. Be prepared for heat and humidity this time of year. Animal displays are top notch. We didn't do any of the rides, except the train. All the coasters look awesome though. Obviously one must be prepared for theme park food and beverages prices. This requires advance planning as it isn't cheap. A funnel cake and 2 waters was $23. 2 flatbread pizzas and waffle fries, along with 2 beers was about $70. One beer is about double the cost of a 6-pack $10-$12 per cup. I get it, profits need to be made to stay in operation; but wow, that's steep. Overall it was a great day.

Went with my family a couple months ago and had a great time. It wasn't very crowded, so the lines were short and we were able to try a bunch of different rides. It was a fun experience, and the park is beautiful. I definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for fun vacation destinations for your family.

I have been here three times in my life: once when I was four, then again in 2016 and then last weekend. My family loves this park for many reasons: 1. Wait times are reasonable for most rides 2. Not as crowded as OTHER parks and 3. Roller coasters do not disappoint enthusiasts. This visit was great like last time but I have a few observations. For one, there were a lot of food places that never opened. They had signs for the Christmas season but they never did open. Some places opened later than anticipated, like the beer and pretzel place near Scorpion. For those of us looking for beer, the Serengeti Overlook did have great tap beer. (Overpriced but what theme park isn't?) But with the mid-park pretzel place opening later and the Garland Gate never opening, as far as I could tell, I was getting a little annoyed with the lack of real food options. The rest of the places have your standard pizza/burger fare. Overall though, we enjoyed this visit and the Christmas decorations were cool.

Everything was great except few things. Park opened at 10am, but rides did not open until 11am in the whole park. Everything was gradually opening between 10:30-11am. Food was very good, but I don’t know if whole day meal is worth buying if you not planning to eat at least 2-3 times. Park closed at 7pm, but restaurants close before 6pm. So plan on eating way before park closes otherwise you will miss out on dinner. Rides and animals are a good mix to do for a family if you decide to split up and do your own thing at your pace.

Sesame Street and attractions around it - very well thought out, for children of all ages and more. We had a great time here! We'll be back someday :)

I’ve been going to Busch Gardens for 40 years. It was always a positive experience of my childhood and teenage years. I decided to get my kids and I season passes and visit the park for the holiday light show. We visited the park last Wednesday. When we arrived, just before the parked opened at 12 pm, we were already being directed to an over flow parking lot at adventure island??? I thought for sure the park was going to be absolutely packed and almost turned back but for the kids I went ahead and we took our chances. The park was decorated beautifully and it really didn’t seem overly packed. I don’t understand why we we’re directed to park so far away. The ride lines weren’t to bad. Most our visit my kids waited 30-60 minutes for the coasters and a few times even less. What was very disappointing was the lines for refreshments and snacks. It seemed to me that the park was extremely understaffed. At least half the refreshment stands weren’t open and the ones that were had longer lines than the rides. No joke. Also the game area had one attendant running 3-4 games at the same time. The lack of staffing caused a lot of areas in the park to be very chaotic. Many areas could also use some serious remodeling. By the end of our visit the line to get on a tram to take us back to Adventure Island was crazy in comparison to the number of trams being used so we decided to walk the 30 minute hike to our car along with at least half the other visitors. I’ve never in 40 years seen half the patrons walk so far to their cars because the tram wait was going to be so long. It seemed as though they were using like only three trams. Idk but many of us even with young kids walk to our cars at 10pm at night. That was extremely disappointing. Over all, it was a decent visit. I’m chalking up the problems I encountered to this corona pandemic situation. I truly hope the management can get these problems corrected otherwise the park I once new may never be the same.

I love Busch Gardens! The park is never really busy. We didn't really wait longer than half an hour for a ride. We only waited half an hour for 2 rides I think, maybe 3. The other rides there wasn't a wait. I love all the animals. The shows are amazing. It's such a great park

It was our first time visiting Busch Gardens and our first time doing a theme park with kids and we had a great time. While its a lot of walking there is a lot of excitement and rides for the kids. While that makes it hard to do non-kid activities the park is still a lot of fun and really festive at night with lit up trees. Cheetah Hunt was probably my favorite coaster. Quick Queues are a must even on not super busy days unless you are okay with 1 hour wait times.

I am glad that I was able to utilize my season pass here back in June. Unfortunately only a few of the rides were open. My favorite attraction was the safari. I enjoyed seeing animals that I normally would not have seen. Wonderful graduation trip!

We were particularly impressed with the availability of amenities that satisfied our needs and preferences. In summary, we found Bush Gardens to be an outstanding choice for families seeking wonderful memories and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great and always lots of fun! Entertainment is more oriented for adults vs Disney. The entrance to get into the park is a nightmare on a busy day. There's two different ways to get in and it causes so much traffic. However, once you are able to get past the entrance fiasco, the rest is a breeze. The park isn't too big and you can easily explore each section of the park in a day. Some of the shows are really fun! Make sure you check it out. However, the bathrooms are so disgusting! Go at your own risk.

Fantastic, you get to experience the best of both worlds a zoo and a theme park. My son and I could not explore much because it was raining, and the park had to close for weather safety. We Will go back. The rides are cool and exciting. Many restaurants, and the ambiance is exciting. The scenery is different than other theme parks. That is what makes it unique.

We had a lot of fun here. I grew up going to Six Flags in Georgia and the rides and everything here were so much better. My favorite was the cheetah coaster. I love how everything in the park is themed and decorated and all the foliage everywhere helped keep it cooler along with all the fans. They had some Halloween decorations up as well, that was cool to see. We already want to come back again.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience. Getting to see all the different types of animals was great. The Roll a Coasters were even better. We were basically able to walk up and get on the rides that day. The longest we had to wait was 20 minutes. The $7.00 sodas and $4.50 waters were outrageous but all and all we had a blast.

Great park with a mix of big coasters and smaller rides. A fair number of rides and restaurants were closed. We were definitely there on a slow day, barely a wait for anything except lunch. The Sesame area is really fun for the little kids. The tree house was a favorite.

Busy! Visited on a weekday between Christmas and New year. We knew it would be busy, but nothing prepared us for the ride operations being so dire!.... Positives are the park is a very pleasant place to be! Well thought out and themed well. Lots of interesting animals. Good facilities and food. Negatives are the woeful operations of their rides. I clocked some rides taking at least 3-5 minutes to dispatch. This was just unacceptable and ruined our day frankly. I'm sure on a day when the park actually get their operations in order it'll be a great day out! But on such a busy day, to be operating as poorly as they were was inexcusable really. Will visit again in April and edit the review accordingly!

Not Disney level good but prices are reasonable, coasters are super fun, and you have to try the safari expedition! We got to feed giraffes up close and personal and also see lots of other animals! The food is expensive and just 'meh' so don't come expecting to get a great meal. There was also very little entertainment wise. If you like thrill rides and coasters, it's definitely worth it. If you have little ones, there is a Sesame Street area with kiddie rides so for older kids, just check the height requirements for the thrill rides.

Been a Florida resident my whole life and Busch Gardens never disappoints. It is a fantastic park! The animals, the rides, the attractions... they even have up close animal encounters which are amazing. I would definitely recommend everyone go spend the day. As the rides are exciting, the park itself is relaxing and caters to everyone... whether you are a ride enthusiast, park lover, admirer of animals... everyone will have a great day.

Every coaster at this park I thoroughly enjoyed (THOROUGHLY). Speed, Steap drops, sharp curves, loops on top of loops. The rides are awesome!!! Lines and waits time for "rides" are above average. HOWEVER wait times and lines for food where horrible. Cost of food is pricey and depending where you. decide to eat it could taste like cafeteria food or decent BBQ. Food service workers seemed stressed out (cause it was especially busy) and by the time we got past the cashier and sat down to eat, the food was cold. Food lines definitely took longer then the lines for the rides so I guess that's the give and take. Bring comfortable shoes. Your definitely gonna be walking A LOT.

I've been here a bunch of times over the years, ever since I was a kid, back with the original owners of the theme park. I most recently visited in Feb 2023. It was fun. It wasn't as fun compared to ten or twenty years ago. I feel like the park has lost some of its luster. Not run down per se, but just not as much upkeep as I remember compared to previous visits. But, the roller coasters were a lot of fun. And if that's why you're coming to Busch Gardens, and it probably is, then it's a decent place to visit.

Today was super busy! Lines over an hour even for food. Everyone was wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. No social distancing however, even though there were stickers on the ground and signs everywhere. I saw no one cleaning /disinfecting anywhere. Other than reminders about masks, employees seemed pretty laid back. I felt safer at Universal Studios this summer. And the employees there were relaxed, polite and on top of things. Made it feel like no problem.

(Translated by Google) An amazing park! Kumba and Sheikra extremely bhenas ... if you do not like roller coasters do not waste your money because the whole park its main attraction is the roller coasters and they are extremely strong in speed and impact !!! If you enjoy them this is your perfect destination and while you walk from one mountain to another you enjoy seeing certain animals! The entrance with meal is perfect although it is recommended that you eat after having ridden all the mountains since they are extremely strong and the Quick queue is not a luxury, it is a necessity if you do not buy it, you will lose hours in lines per mountain and the hours of park will not give them time.

Beautiful theme park! I thought I wouldn't be able to do much with a small toddler but there was lots for him to do and not just in the sesame street section! There are a lot of animals by all the big rides and little rides not far. We had a great time!

Came here to change it up from our Orlando theme parks and experience something different. Came somewhat late so ended up parking in overflow lot for $30. Went to some of the popular rides right away to avoid lines and it worked out great as the park filled up quickly in the late afternoon. The kiddo section is small here but the lines for the rides wasn't too bad. Lots of the food stands are closed which makes for very long food lines. Sounds like a staff issue. A decent theme park experience.

Beautiful theme park located in Tampa Florida. The park is well maintained. Lots of things to do for both adults and kids. There is serengeti express that takes one almost around the park introducing to various rides and one can also see wildlife. This is really a fun place for kids who love wildlife and games at sesame street. There are public restrooms available. There is also a lot of dining options and other shops available. There are several amazing rides for adults and also few for kids. They also have app to self guide visitors. Parking is available free with some member passes and for other admissions with parking fees.

We really enjoyed our time at Busch Gardens. All the coasters were well designed. The animal exhibits were pretty cool. The fresh pretzels were awesome. The layout or flow could have been better. Lots of walking to get to rides that were in the same quadrant. But, that’s the only thing keeping it from being a 5⭐️. If you’re a coaster family like us, this is must on the bucket list. 🎢🐯

Okay, I will try to give my unbiased review about the park. I saw the 70000+ ratings and saw the videos of the rides and decided that this is a must place to visit during our trip. Even though it was a weekend, many animal exhibits, shows were closed. Four out of 12 rides were closed for maintenance. Sometime around noon, their was a power outage and additional 4 rides were closed. We had only done one ride so far. We went to a couple of rides that were still open, but because they were the only rides in operation, there was 2+ hour wait time to get in, so we decided to opt for quick queue (express lane) but that also had 1 hour wait time. We were so frustrated by now and decided to request for a refund as we couldn't do anything that we planned for. They refused to refund and instead offered a ticket for reentry which was useless for us as we are not local and not sure when will we visit Tampa again in the future. So, this is how we ruined a beautiful day one of our Florida trip. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. The park is beautiful and the rides looked amazing (from videos) but we could barely experience it.

This is the most beautiful amusement park my family and I have ever been to. The trees and living scenery are so engaging. The animal homes are very well kept and seem as close to "home" as possible. The roller coasters were so fun. The lines weren't bad. About 45 minutes per ride. The scenery... The music... The vibes... The food... The gift shops... Really all worked together to create a wonderful experience for me and my family. We're so thankful you offered the military admittance along with up to three guests free of charge. This really made this trip possible and so so so worth it. Thank you for everything you do at that park for the animals and for the guests. Restrooms were clean and smelled good. This is a great place to go get thrilled about life. Oh and I definitely recommend buying the food pass for each guest. It's worth it. We have great stories to keep in our memories from this trip. So much fun. Thank you again.

Expensive. But I pretty much knew that. Food deal is worth getting. We didn't so I spent a lot on food. Not a lot of food choices. I loved the animals!! We rode the train which takes you pretty close to the African animals without doing the safari. We paid for the sloth encounter. Totally worth the money!! New ride was awesome!

Busch Gardens Tampa is an elite park to visit. They have one of the best ride lineups and the park atmosphere is amazing. There's tons of plants and animals to see as you walk around the park. The food here is really good too. They have an efficient tram service from the parking lot to the front gate and a preferred lot closer to the gate. They have great shows throughout the year too. The staff is cool too at the rides and elsewhere. This is a beautiful park and you'll want to come back over and over again. Definitely buy a multi day ticket or even a season pass to get the most out of your visit. I 10/10 recommend BGT.

The park is still a fantastic experience with multiple rides and fun to be had, even after so many years. The heat is brutal during summer, so take your time to truly experience everything the park has to offer and prevent exhaustion.

My family loves Busch gardens. The only company that takes care of veterans , with an absolutely free visit to their park every year. The mouse doesn't do anything. I can not express how this helps me give my kids a very nice experience at a great park. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Staff members thank veterans for their service and welcome you to the park. My family and I will try to visit another park outside of Florida next year if this great gift continues. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏼👍🏼👏👏🇺🇲

The fun card pass works best because we had rain for several days and you may not always qualify for a rain pass refund. We can also use this particular pass for the rest of the year, in case we decide to go back. The all day meal pass works best for large groups. Several restaurants provide a good portion size, so kids could probably share a meal together from one pass. The train ride is perfect for getting to different areas of the park, while getting photos of the wildlife. Make sure to check out the shows, they had an ice skating show that was a quality event, plus it is cool inside, if you need a break from the heat. The vehicle parking is across the street from the park. They have a tunnel that allows you to access the preferred parking area, which gets you really close to the entrance (it's a $15 premium over regular parking). If you download the app, the map feature will actually help guide you through the park. The location function must be active on the phone. The app will also store all your passes if you buy online, so you will not need to keep up with tickets. If it is raining, some of the walking paths can be slick. We saw one kid running and tried stopping quickly and ended up on their behind.

We do have a platinum annual pass, that we all truly enjoy. Was incredibly hot during our visit but as you see it didn't stop everyone from creating amazing memories, there were lots of ways to beat the heat from the splash pad area, the many sitting areas with large fans, indoor AC areas, and of the kids favorite the water rides. The only thing that I would suggest is to add fans or misters of some sort to the train ride because it does get quite hot on that ride.

We had so much fun at Busch Gardens!!! Huge variety of rides. Sesame Street is very cute. It is a very kid friendly park. At guest relations, Tyesha was very sweet and helpful. Our group had pizza from the Dragon Fire Grill & Pub. It was a bit confusing. It felt very dark in there. Perhaps better with the entertainment? I'm not into the whole Disney thing. I find Busch Gardens to be more affordable, as well as easier to get to. We had so much fun.

We always have a great time at Busch Gardens! Lots of exciting roller coasters, beautiful animals with amazing conservation efforts, and fun shows. We liked the new Summer shows. Open late for Summer Nights. Closed a few times for Summer thunder storms, but that's to be expected in the Florida Summer. They do a great job keeping everyone safe. Wonderful staff! Very accommodating for my child with autism. Oasis Pizza was yummy! Our favorite is always the pretzels at Twisted Tail though. That's a must try! The price of the drink refills have gone up again, but the cups are still a good deal, especially when you want to stay hydrated in this heat. You'll wish you got a refillable cup. Love having a pass and we will definitely be back!

I was visiting from Cleveland and went with my friends. Few love coasters, and a few love animals! It was a great mix for everyone!! We went on a slow day, so no real long waits. My favorite ride was the Cheetah Hunt!! It was awesome with barrel rolls, and almost a 4 minute ride!! A must to do!!

A really nice park to visit for a day. Some of the rides are a little rough, but all in all a lot of fun. The Sesame Street kids area was wonderfully themed and had some great things for my son to do. Security took a little while to get through but I think that is my biggest complaint. The food and beverages around the park were delicious.

Busch Gardens Tampa is an amazing place! This place doesn't really have as many roller coasters as other major parks do. but I think that all of the other rides makeup for that. The coaster collection is very strong and has some of the best in the world. The flat rides in the park are also very good. The quality of the park is in very good shape after over 50 years of operation. The one complaint that I have is how there are too little kid rides and family oriented attractions. The food here in my opinion is like any other theme park food. Overall, this place is worth visiting for anyone.

Get the fast pass/express tickets! The were sold out on the day we went so we had to wait a while to get on rides- still well worth it! Just wished we could've gone on more rides. Food was meh, and they only had one person ringing people up at the Serengeti Outlook so it was ANOTHER line to wait in. We probably saw half the park- will definitely be going back to see the other

I LOVE Busch Gardens. Super fun rides and great prices for Fun Cards. Went yesterday with my 12yo son and we had a BLAST!! We did buy Quick Queue passes because despite not many people being in the park, lines were long because they weren't running enough coaster cars. Also, I have to say that although they have rules regarding masks and social distancing in place, the employees are not enforcing it. There were MANY people with masks either not on or not covering their nose while in line. And social distancing in lines were clearly marked on the ground 6 ft apart, but people stood 2 feet apart and employees did not say anything. I choose to love all people whether they follow protocols or not, but if this is important to you, you should be aware.

We had a great time at Busch Garden. The rides were so fun but you have to come early if you want to try most of them because the later you come the longer the lines get.

We had a great time today 1/2/21. Get there by 10 and be patient parking. You can ride what you want with light wait times if you concentrate on big rides before 12 Current wait times for rides are easily found online. . Save the strolling and animal exhibits for afternoon. Bring a water bottle and snacks, food is scarce and pretty expensive. Animals looked healthy, displays were beautiful, park was clean, staff was friendly.

We love Busch Gardens and are Annual Passholders. We decided to visit for the Christmas Town event. There was a tent to check temperatures but they were not doing it. We did see signs stating that masks were mandatory but we observed several people without them. Most areas of the park were pretty well socially distanced except Christmas Town. The crowds were shoulder to shoulder and it gave me instant anxiety. We are excited to return to the park after the holidays when the crowds are a bit thinner.

  • 4/5 Kyle H. 3 years ago on Google
Busch Gardens was definitely fun and would like to return on a less busy day. We went on a Wednesday during the Christmas Holiday season and they did not seem ready for it. Restaurants remained closed, causing longer than usual lines for food. Lines for coasters were typical for a theme park. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the park, as 1 day is not enough to do everything.

The reservation thing is a joke! We went this week to Busch Gardens and found that the park was filled way more than what the capacity was supposed to be! What gives? You want to operate a park full of people yet fill all the rides at half the capacity? Makes TOTAL SENSE to me. The lines on the rides were extra long, two hours just for Cheetah Hunt, really? On top of that, only one tram running for a full parking lot. It seems to me that Busch Gardens wants to make their money without being considerate to their guests. I used to love coming here as a kid in the 90s, but it really has gone downhill since then. How sad!

Definitely not worth the crazy amount of money it cost to visit this place!! The first 3 large coasters we came to were all not working!! You had to wear a mask the entire time in the park (outside) even if there was no other people in sight, but yet they had designated areas for mask breaks, where people were all gathered in one small area without masks.....🤔 We arrived an hour after they opened and none of the snack places were open, we couldn't even purchase a water!! Definitely disappointed in our visit!!

Great place to have some fun even during this pandemic. They're on top of the cleaning after each person leaves a ride. I was surprised how much I saw people being told to pull up their mask and didn't allow breath easy masks. My girls loved seeing all the animals up close and personal and loved feeding the kangaroos. Fun rides a bunch of animals and it's an most things are outside so you feel even safer. They also have mask relaxation areas so you can chill and remove you mask for a while.

Literally feels like a zoo in an amusement park. Amazing rides and scenery. The cheeta ride was amazing. Just go on all the rides more than once to really appreciate it. Reservations had to be made to help with social distancing which I loved. And also due to that I felt like the lines were shorter but I also did go on a Friday. The bathrooms were clean which was great! (Thank you workers!) There are hand sanitizer stations everywhere and even foot pedal hand wash stations with soap and paper towels so you don't have to go to the bathroom! Pretty neat! The animals were fun to look at and the train ride is good to rest for a bit. Wear sneakers!! There is a lot of walking and it's also easy to get lost. I had to take off a star for the staff not being on top of people wearing masks as I did see a few people walk around freely with no mask on.

We were not happy that over half of the rides were closed (because of Covid)

  • 4/5 Lanci G. 3 years ago on Google
We arrived was not crowded at all was somewhat disappointed the sky ride was closed the live shows were closed and we didn't get to see the gorilla or elephants they were not in their enclosures when we walked through. Was still a pretty good trip only two people in our group of four will ride thrill rides. We did like that there was not a lot of people in the park. Anothet positive note is they have areas of the park mask resting stations where you could remove your mask for a few minutes and only one person in our group was a smoker they also had designated smoking places in the park. It was a good day just wished the sky ride, live shows were happening and wish we saw the gorilla and elephants.

Enjoyed the park just not the staff rude for no reason attitude from the majority of the staff idk whats going on if they are being treated poorly or not but it does not give them the right to be rude to guest. Maybe next time our experience will be better thanks BG.

TOTAL WASTE of money! The majority of the rides are closed and most of the animals were put up. Visited mid day on Friday 1-22-2021 so no reason for this. Of course EVERY RETAIL store was open with no "social distancing". The food was atrocious and service was terrible! Spend your time and money anywhere else.

We’re coming from Miami to see parrots. 40 minutes before closing time. 4:20p.m. They closed everything in front our face and said that didn’t work !! Very rude !!! I will share this experience with all my friends and family! Never come back !!! Angry and rude people!

  • 5/5 Don V. 3 years ago on Google
Excellent place to visit.. The roller coasters are extremely fun! However.. the food and drinks are a little pricey! 10.00 for a beer is a little over the top! Anything beer that is over 5 dollars is too much!! Thanks,DonnyV

  • 4/5 Sarah R. 3 years ago on Google
Lots of things weren't open because of the pandemic, it was rather sad to see how many workers lost out on jobs, but I get it. That covid life I guess. LOVED the coasters so much!! Bathrooms were pretty clean and stocked. Food was pretty good, especially the chocolate cake from Dragonflire! Favorites were probably Sheikra, Tigris and Cobras Curse.

  • 3/5 Lisa R. 3 years ago on Google
As much as I love Busch Gardens they were extremely busy 1/18/21. I know it was partly because of the holiday and everyone off school but to wait 45 mins in the quick queue line is ridiculous when the regular line is 1 hr. I went for a half day so I bought quick queue so that kids wouldn't have to wait so long and they would be able to ride more rides was the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. They only rode 3 roller coasters because it took that long in line. Also the people manning the Mardi Gras stands were extremely rude we got there maybe 10 mins before park close because lines took so long and we're pass holders so we wanted to redeem samples we recieved. They told me "oh we're closed" meanwhile park hasn't closed yet and there is tons of food just sitting there already prepared. We were told nothing about stands closing early.

  • 1/5 Carolyn R. 3 years ago on Google
Worst experience ever, the park looks so old, it is literally the same since I use to go as a child, I really wish they would do something about this. The Sesame Place area is worse, not what my family is used to from Sea World parks.

They have an wide variety of wildlife and activities for the whole family. They have family friendly entertainment. They also have things to do for adults and even host special events geared towards adults. Reasonable prices. I recommend the annual pass for anyone who is local and goes often

Wow I missed this place since moving away. Great to walk around, I got the All-Day dining pass. Great value, and I got to try different food throughout the day. I loved how there were adult beverage carts everywhere as well. The sangria was the drink of choice on our warm November day.

  • 5/5 Nzilani B. 3 years ago on Google
It was absolutely amazing. Getting there when the park opens or around 11:30 is best we went on 4 rides before 1 twice. Then we ate lunch which wasn't terrible. Then the last half of day we waited in line but the longest wait was 35 min. We got all the rides besides scorpion it was down for essential maintenance. Definitely will be back we met some awesome people from corporate. We also manged to get on train twice before leaving. Best advice go on weekday if you can. Only complaint I have is yall gotta get better signs for getting around the place.

I think Busch Gardens is doing quite well dealing with the restrictions they have to follow due to the hysteria we call Covid. I saw a lot of cleaning, hand sanitizer stations. Even mobile hand washing stations. Constant announcement to clean hands. 6ft distancing markers. As far as the park. I haven't been there in forever. All the animals were amazing. Some I could not believe how close they got. The lorikeet Aviary is so cool. The penguins are adorable. The elephants are awesome. Can't speak for rides cause I dont do roller coasters but I did ride the train, which gives you a good overview of the park. I was very happy with my day spent here.

Eventide we visit we have such a good time. This time around we went during the Christmas festivities and they had lots of photo opportunities. The thing I love the most about Bush Gardens is that I don't have to wait around family that loves roller-coasters. I usually walk around looking at the animals. I love that there is a little bit of everything for the whole family. I would recommend this place anyone visiting Tampa with family.

  • 2/5 Robert K. 2 years ago on Google
We had a good time. Pleasantly surprised at the animals. Poorly managed rides however. No single line to fill up rides. Could have moved lines much faster. Maybe short staffed...and it was really busy between Christmas and the New Year ...but too many rides and food vendors closed down so lines were really long where open.

  • 5/5 Russell B. 2 years ago on Google
Been a very long time since I went to Busch gardens as a kid. Went to the one in Williamsburg and remember it was also nice. Didn’t remember it being this fabulous though. Can’t believe how great this place is. Love the balance between quite a lot of roller coasters and rides with the fancy zoo features and wonderful landscaping.

Took my boys for spring break and they had a blast! There was a huge crowd and it was busy given it was a Saturday and the food and wine festival had just begun. All in all everyone had an amazing time from the beautiful animals to the rides, the shows and the food. My little one loved Sesame Street! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tampa Bay! 🙌🏼🔥😍

You’ll need 3 days to be able to enjoy everything this park has to offer. Busch Gardens might be at the tail end of it’s prime but overall still clean and the staff is very friendly. The park is well staffed as well so there’s no missing out on anything. Food is overpriced but then again what park isn’t? There are QR codes to order on the app. However it seems half the time it wasn’t available. Overall an enjoyable visit.

I miss the Clydesdale horses. I hadn't been since the early 2000's, and they were one of my favorite parts. Didn't know it had been sold back in 09. But it was a lot of fun, just none of the rides except the rapid river ride are big person friendly. Couldn't ride anything but that and the train. But for the kids, they had a blast riding everything. The animals are a lot of fun to see, especially the safari. It's worth the extra money to feed the giraffes. A lot of memories were made with the kids on that.

  • 5/5 David B. 1 year ago on Google
This was our 3rd trip here and it has always been a blast! We really enjoy the amusement park with a zoo concept. As we walked from ride to ride we were able to stop for an animal interaction...hippo, giraffe, cheetah, gorilla, and many more. Our only issue this trip is that we visited during the off season so the park had several rides closed but the limited wait time made up for it. Looking forward to our next trip!!

  • 5/5 Dylan C. 1 year ago on Google
Awesome theme park with lots of thrill rides and roller coasters! Each ride has an individual key element which makes the whole experience feel fresh and not repetitive like some other parks. I definitely recommend going on weekdays, before Summer since it's less busy and you can have the chance to get on each roller coaster at least once. Tigris is a fun recently new addition to the catalog of coasters and Sheikra is breathtaking as always. Their animal exhibits add to the overall experience, especially when you need a break from the heat. My favorite was the penguins since they were so goofy and attentive to us park guests!

  • 5/5 B C. 8 months ago on Google
What an experience. I loved everything here, the rides, the animals, and especially the train that brought you around the park! A nice relaxing was to see the park if you need a break from walking. The animals were so vibrant and well taken care of

  • 5/5 Christie F. 8 months ago on Google
The only issue we came across, is the app and wait time at the rides are totally different. But other then that it's a fun place to visit. We always do the fun card and go every summer. :)

One of the best theme parks in Florida! We took part in the Serengeti Safari, which involved feeding giraffes! Lots of animals to look at, with lots of scheduled talks. All rides there are epic! We stayed along international drive - worth the 1hr 30 car journey to the theme park!

  • 5/5 Greg w. 7 months ago on Google
Imagine they built a 6 flags around a zoo. A lot of fun it was very hot when we went we were able to get some breaks from the heat by going to some of the shows that they have so plan that out if needed. There are bottle filling stations around the park not always the easiest to find but worth it to not have to pay $5 for a bottle when you can bring your own in.

  • 5/5 Ben A. 6 months ago on Google
We had a great day at Busch Gardens. It was hot but there were plenty of cooled spaces. Unfortunately, it started raining so we left. Didn't get to see as much as we wanted but we'll be back soon.

  • 3/5 Mohammed A. 7 months ago on Google
First time at Busch Gardens, and it was great overall. My wife and I went on Friday, and it was surprisingly quit empty for a Friday, so it meant super quick lines. We never had to wait much for any of the rides. The ride "Kumba" was closed along with one of the water rides, which was a bummer. Also, some of the animal attraction places were empty with no signs, so that was a waste of time. Parking was $30 for the day ($45 for preferred parking), but you can take the mini tram that drives you to the front entrance of the park. The rides were definitely fun. Food options are okay over there, and the markups on beverages/water are insane (we paid close to $6 for a water bottle there...). The park felt like it was missing more rides as we got done pretty quick with no lines, and it also felt like workers were just waiting around. All in all, I'd definitely recommend paying a visit if you are in town as the rides are fun and thrilling.

My seven year old roller coaster loving kid loves this place!! My daughter is autistic and they offer her a RAP pass that made her time really enjoyable. This was her first time on some ‘real’ roller coasters and all she says now is “I want Busch gardens”!!

  • 4/5 Richard S. 6 months ago on Google
Busch Gardens...personally I think this is the best park in Florida for roller coasters, loved everyone of them. Yep it's a rubbish journey from Orlando where we were staying the i4 is just awful. Really hate that your charged $30 for parking your car after paying $100 for a ticket to get in...and food prices in the park...don't even get me started on that...had to take out a 2nd mortgage for a couple of cookies a coffee and a coke! But I diverse...if you like coasters you'll love this park ❤️

  • 5/5 Matt O. 4 months ago on Google
Living an hour away means I'm at the park often. Great rides, some of the best coasters in Florida. Iron Gwazi is amazing. The animal exhibits and shows are perfect for non-riders and are engaging and fun. The ice skating show is consistently well done, my wife and I see it on most visits. Pass Members are valued, and perks are fantastic. It is money well spent if you live somewhat nearby.

Are you looking for adventure? If so, look no further than Busch Gardens. This zoo offers more than caged up animals. Its unique open layout allows you to explore and see animals that excite and thrill the young at heart. My favorite are the giraffes. Besides the various animals, there are other things to do here. There are shows, a train, and a safari tour to get up close and personal with the wild. The various rides make Busch Gardens a place for everyone. The best part is that there were no long lines, and the place was not overly crowded. Truly a great family experience, we will look forward to visiting our next time we're in the area.
