I
stayed
at
the
Venetian
Hotel
in
March
2023
for
a
conference.
My
wedding
ring
was
taken
from
my
room
when
I
was
in
meetings.
I
filled
out
a
report
with
hotel
security
and
the
LV
police.
I
reached
out
to
the
Venetian
probably
10x
following
up
and
finally
heard
back
that
my
case
was
closed.
I
was
told
if
I
have
further
issues
I
should
reach
out
to
them
and
I
have
several
times
and
haven''t
heard
anything
back.
I
am
extremely
unhappy
about
this
entire
experience:
1.
My
wedding
ring
was
taken
from
my
hotel
room.
2.
The
next
day
I
put
the
'do
not
disturb'
sign
on
my
door
because
I
didn't
feel
comfortable
with
anybody
else
entering
my
hotel
room.
The
sign
was
disregarded
and
my
room
was
serviced.
I
immediately
reported
it
to
security,
emailed
the
Detective
working
my
case,
told
the
hotel
manager,
and
spoke
to
the
head
of
housekeeping.
Nobody
did
anything.
3.
Lack
of
communication
-
I
have
emailed/called
security,
customer
service,
and
the
detective
over
10x
only
to
eventually
be
told
my
case
was
closed
without
any
explanation.
This
whole
experience
has
been
poorly
managed.
I
did
nothing
wrong.
I
accidentally
left
my
personal
property
locked
in
my
hotel
room.
It
was
taken.
The
next
day
I
didn't
want
anybody
else
in
my
room
worried
about
other
property
in
my
room.
The
sign
was
disregarded
and
possibly
the
same
people
that
took
the
ring
came
back
into
my
room.
The
hotel
has
deemed
itself
not
liable
and
dismissed
me.
If
this
was
handled
differently,
more
professionally,
more
apologetically
really
any
type
of
decency
for
this
extreme
loss,
I
probably
wouldn't
feel
so
wronged.
