My boyfriend and I came to Vegas to celebrate his birthday. We stayed in a Grand King Strip View room. The room was very nice. First we booked the West Wing but after looking at YouTube videos and speaking with front desk, we found out that most the west wing rooms do not have a view and are not the best, so we upgraded. Very nice, spacious room and bathroom. We made sure not to touch the bar or refrigerator as they have signs saying not to move anything else you could be charged. And also not to store personal stuff in the fridge. There are periods of time when the elevator bank in the lobby gets crowded. You could be waiting to get in an elevator up to 5 minutes. There are many places to eat at the MGM, clubs, casino of course, big screen TVs to watch the games, contact less check out etc. It was a pretty good hotel and conveniently located on the strip. I would stay here again. Masks are required in public spaces. They have mask polices strategically placed throughout the 1st floor.

The stay initially was great. But we had an issue where the window cleaners destroyed the windows and we needed a new room. They gave us a new room but low and behold we walked directly in while other occupants were in! So we went back and Nick Giles, the supposed manager was horrible. Basically told us we had no right to complain. And how since we had a discount and weren’t white rich men our complaints were not valid. This was a planned vacation of 3 years in the making for our wedding. Nick Giles absolutely ruined the whole experience and as I now can see the MGM grand does not care about our money, only rich white people, I’ll know to make sure to let everyone know. Nick Giles the manager was rude to my wife over the phone, and even refused to get someone above him to escalate our issue with him, Not to mention how he made it a point to say we were ungrateful for having a complaint while using a discount. As if the money spent during our time here, the money spent on the hotel itself and all the amenities wasn’t good enough. So hopefully someone sees this before planning their trip and takes a moment to think if they would like someone like Nick Giles belittling your family and making you feel less than, for having a complaint initially regarding a strip view window being dirty and unable to take any pictures or enjoy said view that was paid for. Nick Giles I want to thank you for showing us why the MGM grand is not the place to have a vacation, Nick Giles and MGM Grand doesn’t care about making a wedding and vacation feel special. And Nick Giles , the manager of MGM Grand, belittles people over the phone and let’s you know plainly you do not have a right to complain if you paid anything other than full price for the stay, Nick Giles the manager of MGM grand does not care about any complaints at all.

We stayed here before but in a different area, this time we were in the Studio Tower. Not en entirely bad location if you don't care about walking extra to get to your room or having no view whatsoever. We did the self check-in initially with the App which was great, but, didn't give us any options over room availability and preferences. We were able to get it early (2pm vs the normal 3pm check-in) but saw it and left immediately for the front desk. We were able to switch rooms and get something that would suit us a little better within what we had already paid for. The self check-in would be greatly improved if choosing your room (within your paid price range) was on the table, like picking your seat at a show or movie theater. Waiting for it to be ready is not really an issue if you take advantage of the bell desk luggage service... just a thought... As for the room we paid $176 in resort fees we never were going to use and didn't get to use the in-room fridge, a $50 upgrade. Barely any room to put clothes away and be careful not to bump the items on the bar or you'll be sorry about having extra stuff show up on your bill... we didn't break the bank for a better room so other then that it was clean, fixed up every day we were there, bathroom was bright to get ready so it was adequate.

We stayed here before & the room was fine. We downloaded the game app & had enough points to play for free & other rewards but in the "fine print" you have to be be paying for your room to qualify. We also tried to get help to see our other rewards. The man at the desk was very short & kinda rude. I deleted the app and thru away my rewards card. Not going back

Had a great time and the rooms were perfect. They are large, very clean and have all the amenities you need. The cost of snacks and drinks are pretty pricey, but that could be due to us staying there during super bowl 58. Highly recommend.

This place is huge!!! Definitely got my steps in. Fast elevators. That's always a plus. Although I didn't use many there's plenty of amenities, shows and activities that won't disappoint. You'd need to do several trips to really enjoy it all properly. I appreciate the nice sized rooms, but I'd rather have a fridge and microwave than the mini bar in room, but to each their own. If you ever get to Vegas give the MGM Grand a try!

If you're looking for a fun-filled Las Vegas experience with plenty of options for socializing, gambling, shopping, and dining, the MGM Grand could be a great choice. They offer a variety of restaurants, from casual cafes to high-end steakhouses, and several nightclubs and music venues. Plus, the recently renovated rooms boast modern amenities and comfortable bedding.

I have literally stayed in every casino. MGM Grand is right up on the top with all the other big players. I got a nice upgrade to my room, and the stay was pleasant as always. Make sure you sign up for the rewards. I have also found that if you prepay your parking, it creates less hassle. Especially if you plan on going to other MGM resorts. I got the app and made life easy.

I say this knowing the MGM grand is a very large hotel. However, it has issues. I am here for a work conference and I have nothing but positive things to say about the convention center and the service here. Very nice conference property. That being said, the rooms are old. The shower head is a mist machine and I have not taken a warm shower in a week. The beds are very comfortable, but the hallways are dark and giver the things I have found on the ground, scary. The hall ways are not regularly vacuumed, at least while I was here. There is a very large stain or mold in the hallway and I found a rubber glove, just sitting in the hall way. All night. My view of the mountains and hooters across the street were all you could ask for. Well, the sunrises and sunsets really were fantastic from my room. All in all, with the prices MGM charges for food, it should be a better hotel. Cleaner and just higher end. It is old and outdated for the price.

My boyfriend and I recently spent a few nights here on our trip to the USA! They had some great promotions going on and we got a great deal on the Grand King Room! We had a view of the airport, which we loved being skydivers! HUGE perk for us was the online check in and check out! No need to stand in the line waiting. Just scan the code and input your info and you're good to go. We needed assistance with the parking and they were very quick, helpful and friendly. The hotel is HUGE!! It has anything you might need from food, to clothes, entertainment, transportation, souvenirs, Casino of course, and so so much more! We really enjoyed our stay here. Our only "complaint" was the smoking in the Casino, which we know is normal here, but just not for us! But there is areas you can stay away from it, so not bad. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are large and this was the first hotel in years that was able to group 4 rooms all together and not in different towers or on different floors. The pool area is super nice. Getting to either end of the strip is super easy as this hotel has a Monorail Station that will take you all the way to the Sahara Hotel. Also, there’s lots of food options including some very high end dining. Great hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at the MGM grand. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a distance from the main strip, but there's a lot to do at the hotel too. We stayed at the Tower Spa Suite and the view was beautiful. The carpet and couch is a little dated, but the room was was still pretty awesome. We really loved the bathroom; it's beautiful and the jacuzzi was a big plus (contrary to some of the reviews, we had no problem getting in). We would stay there again!

Great hotel to spend time with family and friends. With the MGM grand app it was so easy to check in my room without even stopping by the front desk. The room is clean and very spacious. Hotel staff is amazing. So many things to do. You can spend time at the casino or enjoy the many restaurants and bar, or chill by the pool. I will definitely go back again.

We stayed three nights for a quick getaway. We booked through Southwest Vacations. Our room was very nice and had a great view. The king size bed was amazing! This was our first time to Las Vegas and we were impressed. A few negatives were that you cannot use the mini fridge without being charged. This is silly! We just wanted a place to store some cold drinks. Second they told my friends who had arrived first that they could “upgrade” to a better room with better views and more space. My friends paid the extra money and larger deposit. When we got there we declined the upgrade. Turns out their “upgraded” rooms were the exact same as ours. They were the same size and no better view. So say no to upgrade!

Enjoyed my stay. Had a great deal on the room rate. When I got to the room I realized why the rate was $45, but it was clean and comfortable. No need for a giant room if I won't be in it. It was a bit of a hike to the casino floor, but who doesn't need exercise. Are breakfast at Wolfgang Puck. Although the food was fine (avocado toast) it wasn't anything spectacular. The service from the "busboy" and waiter was not too quality. Had to ask for water refills, a second cup of coffee while giving them 15 minutes to offer me a refill. Also asked for some black pepper, they brought me an empty grinder. None of this ruined my day, but I expect premium service since I will be paying a premium for my meal. Will I go back? ABSOLUTELY. Once isn't enough to enjoy this beautiful property.

Beautiful and friendly! From the first seconds pulling into Valet, being greeted by the nicest man, to the effortless efficient mobile app used to check out, MGM has it all. Monorail stop, restaurants galore, clubs, bars, shops, exhibits, and obviously gambling & gaming. We booked a private lounge site and had an amazing day relaxing at the pools. Unfortunately the lazy river was closed. Joey was the best waiter/ server EVER! So friendly and efficient. Made our day! My first time in Vegas. I highly recommend MGM GRAND!! (I only gave 4 stars because of the smoking - there are definitely better filtration systems available. I wish the place smelled better....)

Nice hotel loaded with great features. The room was small and showed its age but it was well kept and clean. Decent value, great casino and tons of convenience. The monorail route ends at the hotel so its easy to get to and you don't have to worry about it already being full when it pulls up. Top Golf is located at the hotel as well as a ton of restaurants. There is a walk over bridge to New York New York so you don't have to deal with crossing the street.

I think this is a very good hotel and casino with a great value. It's not a luxury one and probably it has seen better years, but it's great for a few days. Rooms are nice and clean, casino and sports book are good, it offers many options for dining and entertainment, and its location on the Strip is good. Recommended if you want something just decent without a huge spending.

After years of being told of being too stressed out and needing a vacation, finally decided to do just that, and managed to get a good deal at the MGM Grand. Wow, what an experience! The food, the atmosphere, the amenities, it’s all so good! I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much great food in my life. Sure things are pricey but honestly, it’s so worth it. Even the New York style pizza is fantastic! The amount this resort has to offer is great as well, heck I even got a pedicure, which was phenomenal. The pool is great too, though you have to pay for your own tubes in the lazy river, still it was nice to swim in without them. And there’s so much to do, even if gambling isn’t your thing, whether it be in the resort or outside to the many places MGM has partnered with. I think the only problem I has was on arrival, my room’s safe wasn’t cooperating. However, security handled it rather quickly and efficiently, which I do have to add that the staff are pretty dang friendly! I can fully say that I will be returning here, it was a great experience and I hope to bring more friends as well!

It was my first time there. Getting into Las Vegas can be frustrating. There is so much traffic . So getting into the MGM was nice, it is toward the beginning of the strip. Having said that, as soon as we walked into the MGM I got slammed with the smell of smoke. It was EVERYWHERE. The Hotel seemed outdated and old. Not as clean as I would like to see. The rooms are very noisy, so do your research. The food prices were very high and nothing special. Everything looks wonderful in pictures.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! Everything about it spoke glamor, class, upscale but the cost was not! The rooms were big, clean and comfortable, the beds were so soft and we slept well! The restaurants were affordable and I had a child with me and was okay with eating right there in the hotel. We were able to walk to most activities or catch the Monorail which let you off right in the hotel and that cost was a third of a cab! There is a Arcade there, virtual game there for the children... the shows were incredible! You will not loose staying at this hotel!

Rooms were fine. Bed was comfortable. Location is a decent walk to the busier parts of the strip. Low rating is because of a negative experience at the electronic blackjack downstairs. Dealer showed an Ace and I hit "yes" when prompted for insurance. Dealer got the blackjack but the machine didn't pay out my insurance. Manager wouldn't help as it was my word against the machine. Luckily it wasnt a huge amount lost. Play at your own risk.

Love this Casino. The vibe is different is not for cheap people. MGM is the King of All the Casinos in Vegas. I love the entertainment you can walk in and just enjoy the view, the people, the atmosphere is different. The waitress have a little attitude but it's because the mean business. Over work I would say or it was not her day. But other then that is a place you must visit. You have to enjoy everything about it and you must come to Vegas. The food top notch always. The drink forget it the best and smoothest you will ever have. It's high class and paradise in one place. You will love it just make sure to bring like 5k just to enjoy yourself a week. Another 3k for gambling. That's just for a couple and a week of entertainment on the low end. This place has table with 100k a hand and when I go in I have to dress to impress and look the part at least so many millionaires go here you can tell I can always tell by the watch and the shoes they wearing.

A lot of the slots have buttons that don't work. Enjoyed my time at Puck B&G, and TAP (see individual reviews). A lot of white middle aged males not wearing masks here.

This is a nice hotel casino. Plenty of gambling, restaurants, access to transportation, and access to entertainment. Our particular room was one of the older rooms in the west wing. Worth the money because we barely spent time in it. We wanted to upgrade our room but the hotel was fully booked. The customer service is impeccable. Everyone is very courteous and helpful. There is valet parking for $30 per day if you decide to rent a car. You can do self parking for $15 per day but we liked the convenience of valet. Definitely a great experience and would love to return. The most difficult thing was finding a machine that issued membership cards for gambling but we eventually found it

I had stayed at the MGM many years ago and was truly not impressed. Now it lives up to it's name, GRAND! Majestic is the description for the resort. The upgrades to the rooms are on point, fresh. Very comfortable beds. Quiet, no noise from either the hallway or the rooms on either side. The choices for dining whether it be a quick meal or fine are plentiful. I will say avoid the buffet as they are very overpriced for the rather mediocre food. Gambling choices are plentiful and you can hear live local artists music while doing so from the Loser bar. Access to the monorail, and multiple shops. Be prepared to walk while here. I suggest comfortable shoes!! Check out the MGM Grand, you won't be disappointed.

This property is not physically attached to the MGM Grand. It's on the next street over with Top Golf. I've stayed in a few different hotels on the strip and this is one of my favorites. It's more like a condo than a hotel room. Kitchen (stocked on request), dining room, living room, separate bedroom, and 1.5 baths. There are 2 or 3 towers. All connected by a "tunnel" that also leads to MGM Grand. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Price for the room was very reasonable. I did not do any gambling, shows, or fine dining this trip so I can't comment on those amenities. There was a food court in the tunnels that sufficed for quick dining. Staff and valet were very helpful and friendly. Valet parking was complimentary (still tip though). I would stay at this resort again.

Good location. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Hotel is easily maneuverable and has a good casino. Check-in was easy and the staff are amazing. I had checked out via the QR and was about to leave the hotel when I realized I left my work phone in the room as I was about to leave for the airport. Concierge advised me to go to check-in who issued me a one-time use key card to retrieve my phone. Housekeeping had already gotten there, found my phone and turned it into management. Very swift, helpful and efficient.

the rooms were very clean and comfortable. they were large and well designed with a good view. there are many amenities in the place, but we were able to take advantage of only a few. the Pool was one of them, it was a great experience. there were plenty of pools and lot of space to relax and have a good afternoon.

  • 3/5 Philippe L. 2 years ago on Google
One word to describe MGM, loud, so loud everywhere you go! By the pool they just blast the music, so if you're the party type then you'll love it, if you want to find some peace and quiet then stay somewhere else. Other than that the grounds and facilities are clean, the rooms comfortable and the staff friendly. We booked 4 nights, left after one and found something that suited us better.

  • 1/5 Joe E. 2 years ago on Google
The main issue that I have with MGM is that I purchased the hotel stay 2 weeks before the trip and I paid over $200 for that night. The day of check in, I checked the prices and now the rate was $75 a night. I asked them to honor that price for me, give me hotel credit or upgrade my room. They declined all options I presented. If they would have given me $100 gambling credit, they would have received it back and they would have made me feel like they cared about their guests.

this place never disappoints...been way over a decade or even 2 since last visited/stayed here...but the magic remains! rooms have been maintained and seem just as comfy as before. food offerings remain very varied and tasty. the staff are still friendly and make the resort what it is. thank you MGM for making our Labor Day stay a good one.

Large gaming floor. Reasonably priced food along side some upscale restaurants. Stayed in the West Tower on the first floor. The hallway was a little noisy. The pool and spa close at 4:00 and are not located anywhere near the rooms. The room was basic. Luggage delivery was nice. The digital key was great.

Clean Rooms , Food was good in the restaurants, live music and slot machines were descent. Negative things were parking was $15 a day if you were a guest .some people wearing mask were down security needs to tighten smoking was permitted. Some slot machines were not cleaned off fast enough. Bar maids were slow

I really enjoyed my 1st time in Vegas. The MGM Hotel was huge everything in one. Really didn't have to leave the hotel. My room was ok... Didn't like that we had a view of roof. We couldn't see nothing but the corner of the roof oh n not too much of sun either.

  • 3/5 Michelle S. 4 months ago on Google
The room overall was okay. The outlets for electronic devices are very poor and outdated and the carpet in the hallway was worn out and a trip hazard. Our room definitely was not quite. At 2am the people next door to us were so loud we couldn't sleep. I tried calling the front desk but no one answered the phone. So I had to get dressed and go downstairs to talk to security. The facial tissue and toilet paper were like sandpaper. Don't expect anyone to assist you with your luggage. There wasn't even any carts to load your luggage on. We had to park in self parking and haul all of our bags from the parking garage to our room because there was no valet available. I definitely recommend that you get an actual plastic key card and not use your cellphone as your key. I did not appreciate seeing young children running around the casino in between the slot machines. It was very aggravating. Especially since it seems allowed for minors to be on the casino floor. Next time, I will just stay somewhere else that either I can park close to my room or they offer assistance to help me with our bags. And enforce minors staying out of the casino.

First and last trip to Vegas. We had a complete understanding of what to expect in Vegas but were just not impressed. Chose MGM Grand just because, no special reason. It's extremely challenging to find where to park and check in. The mobile check-in and checkout system is very tedious and inefficient, making you stand in a long queue multiple times if you have a large party and are waiting for other people to arrive. It took speaking to three staff members before anyone could give us accurate directions to our room. The cigarette smell is overpowering and nauseating, and most of the areas in the hotel had unpleasant smells. The room was adequate, although the mattress was uncomfortable. There is no fitness center that we could find, even though they advertise having one. The view was a nicely manicured area, but it just looked at the back of another building, so if you're looking for that iconic strip view, do not stay on the lower floors of Studio Towers. We went to see The Venetian and were immediately impressed by the ambiance, sounds, cleanliness, and pleasant scents. Wish we would have stayed here for our Vegas experience.

I had a blast at the MGM Grand casino. The casino floor is absolutely massive and a maze, so you can always find something new to play. The games are varied and exciting, and the staff is courteous and professional. The casino also has a lot of restaurants and bars to choose from, and the shows are amazing. I can’t say anything about the rooms because I haven’t stayed there. The only thing I wish they would change is to bring back the Wizard of Oz theme indoors to give it a more special feeling. It used to be so magical and unique, but now it’s just like any other casino. I still give it 4 out of 5 stars because it’s a great place to have fun in Vegas.

  • 1/5 Kodi O. 4 months ago on Google
Rooms are dark and dingy, and the shower sucks. Also, it's so big that even getting to your room is a hike. Then the elevator often doesn't work correctly so you end up trapped on a higher floor and have to go all the way down and try again. If this hotel were anywhere but Vegas it would be a 2 star hotel, 3 at most. It's only saving grace is the workers are very competent, friendly and polite.

  • 4/5 Wayne D. 1 year ago on Google
I had a free comp room to a Grand king at the MGM Grand. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to get good sleep. The water pressure in the shower was also good. I like the fact that access to hotel room floors are only for guest registered. So that's an added safety feature. Table games at the casino is not really player friendly. Craps table limit was at a minimum $50. Blackjack with 3/2 payouts was at $100. This can get steep for the casual gambler. Poker room was well run, and the tournaments were fun. But the room is dim. Because the casino is located on the strip, it can attract the younger crowd demographic.

Lazy river is always a hit with the weather being in the upper 90’s. Rooms are clean, affordable and large. The hotel is in a good location to walk the strip or catch the trams. Staff are pleasant. Negatives are how smokey everywhere is and the food prices in the hotel.

  • 5/5 Theresa B. 8 months ago on Google
MGM has a fanatic pool area. Lazy river is always fun to float and stay cool in the Vegas sun. Also offers an adult only pool and several other pools for your liking. The rooms are average; Stay Well Suites offer water bottles all day so great added bonus. MGM Rewards is very beneficial if you eat, stay and play in MGM resorts. Walkable to everything the Las Vegas Strip can offer! Easy access to the tram as well.

  • 4/5 Ms C. 1 year ago on Google
It's called Grand for a reason!!!! You can't miss the location. Everything on the strip is within walking distance and some areas connect to the MGM by walking over a small "bridge". If you don't want to walk you can use the Tram that stops at MGM and takes you to other end of the strip. There is an abundance of restaurants, fast food, two Starbucks, souvenir shops, and bars. There's a theater for Cirque, country bar with live entertainment, Jabawockeez theater, and of course the MGM Grand Stadium and more. The swimming are was relaxing but recommend going early. The concierge service is outstanding. The only flaw is you cannot use the refrigerator I'm the room. Hint DO NOT TAKE OUT AND PUT BACK ITEMS IN REFRIGERATOR OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED. The room was adequate but they do need thorough cleaning. Recommend staying in the tranquil rooms because those rooms are better maintained than the others. Make sure to sign up with MGM Rewards for discounts and this especially good when gambling on slot machines.

  • 4/5 John D. 9 months ago on Google
The room was good but the casino was kind of a let down. Service was top notch. My wife left her purse by a slot machine at 10pm and we had it back with all contents at 9am the next morning because of an awesome security guard. Not sure if I would stay here again but I do not have anything against it and if you get a good deal on the room I would recommend it.

We love the MGM and its properties. The guest services are awesome the valet was super nice and helpful and the pool is amazing. I recommend staying at this resort. The pool service was awesome we took our own tubes and they filled it up for 5 dollars and would refill it for free after that if needed. Make sure to valet if you have a car with you since once you do you can valet at the sister locations for free with a PINK ticket.

Rooms were nice and the staff was amazing. Parking was easy. Started off by being greeted by CK who kicked off an amazing stay at check-in. She was really great and helped to ensure my family and I enjoyed the visit. Pools were wonderful and we had a lot of fun. Visited one of the pizza places in the hotel and it was delicious and the staff there was really fun. Thanks MGM for setting the groundwork of a great Vegas visit.

This trip was a birthday gift to my daughter for her 21st birthday. MGM Grand is such a beautiful hotel and the staff was very friendly! I would recommend getting water before getting to the hotel. We paid about $8 for a bottle of water. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay. Check in was simple. And check out was too. The hotel is so big we didn't get a chance to visit every part of it. So we will have to plan another visit soon. 🙂

The room felt dated and it had a weird smell. I had to turn on the fan to get rid of the smell. The housekeeping also skipped my room for some reason for the day and I had to call them to get it scheduled. There was also no room card/security check at the elevator area. Anyone can ride the elevator and follow other guests. I already saw a vendor passing out advertisement flyers underneath guest room doors. Security is not good at all. The casino needs to do a better job mandating mask wearing. Overall, my experience at MGM Grand was below average. For the price you are paying, I recommend other MGM locations or other casinos.
