Great hospitality! The food quality is average comparing with middle eastern food but still decent!

Ordered the meat platter for one and it was not great at all. So overpriced, didn’t taste fresh and wasn’t presented well.

We ordered the "Dimashk teller" for 2 people it was delicious! Very fresh and nice flavours. The people here are nice and the coffee was good, we also got a free "dessert" for with the coffee. The toilets are also very clean.

Absolutely amazingly good authentic Arabic food. Definitely a must when in Freiburg. Also, baklava heaven 😇🤤

Worst Syrian food ever! The ones who are cooking are not even Syrian, so i have no idea why they call themselves damask food??! The meat is old and everything is swimming with cooking oil. The menu says " wood grilled dishes" but nothing is grilled , basically stove cooking. Just awful

Really one of the worst Shawermas i have ever tried. Definitely would never recommend this restaurant for someone who is looking for a good Shawerma. Fries were half raw half fried and the sandwich was a catastrophe.

Here’s their ‘delicious’ shawarma. A d*ick sized wrap with some chicken and sauce inside. What a rip-off 😅

A really great place for authentic and well-made Syrian food in Freiburg. Great atmosphere, generous portions and lots of options.

This restaurant was conveniently located right beside the hotel where I was staying so I ended up eating there twice. The first time I had the ground lamb skewer with rice and salad, the second time I had the lamb chops. Honestly speaking, the ground lamb tasted better than the actual lamb chops. I still give this place high marks, it was clean, the service was friendly and the ground lamb skewer tasty. Some reviews stated that the portions were small, but I didn't find that to be the case, and actually couldn't finish meal. I also had this tamarind softdrink, but don't get your hopes up, it doesn't taste anything like tamarind.

I tried the Shawarma teller, it was delicious. In my opinion the portion was kind of small given the price.

Probably the best Shawarma I ever had. Tabule salad was also good. Stuff friendly and helpful, reasonable prices

Dinner was okay but service was very bad! It was cold inside (even other guest were wearing jackets) and we asked multiple times if the doors could be shut. Doors were opened again and again. Finally the card machine did not work which was super nasty and staff was not very cooperative. Simply not a good atmosphere…

It was better some time ago and prices have increased. I ordered a plate for 2 and the price was too much for what you get, not enough meat and chips.

Great place both for coffee / baklava and for a full meal, would recommend! Lovely inner design as well. The baklavas are with a typical wide range of choices! At that date we could only pay with cash. Might be better if card payment is possible...

Very tasty. The prices were not clear. After placing the order, I found the food a bit pricey. I guess it is also about perception.

Wide choice of authentic and delecious Syrian food. The service is quick and friendly, and they also let you costomize your dish. Loved it 😋

A 5-star rating solely based on the super value combo of the shawarma + house-made ayran. Also, Toum. NOT garlic flavoured mayo.
