Although it was raining, it is a different place to walk around and view the horses (and possibly Donkeys but we didn't see any). The staff were so friendly and helpful even encouraging Ceaser to come out and see us, with ginger nut biscuits!!! Fantastic cafe, but we didn't stop for anything, we will next time. A little shop with souvenirs and a good car park. It's a great visit for a short visit or a couple of hours.

Love bringing the children here and the coffee and cakes are delightful. Toilets sparkling clean, pathways buggy friendly, plenty to see and paves to sit down for a rest. My only suggestion would be for some shady areas to cool down in as it can be really warm on sunny days

If you love horses it’s a must visit. Entry is free however, please do make a donation no matter how small. Big site so quite a walk to cover it all. Beautiful home for the horses, ponies and donkeys where they are clearly cared for. Lunch at Oliver’s Cafe was really tasty and reasonably priced plus nice little gift shop. Staff friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable experience and great to meet little Esther. After a terrible start in life at the hands of inhuman people she is still kind and gentle. Lesson for us all.

Possibly needs more signage about the horses, but lovely all the same. Food fairly basic but good prices

Great place lovely day out great cafe and gift shop. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Took my elderly mum to see her adopted donkey..she loved it but there is lots of walking though so if anyone struggles with mobility take a wheelchair. They do have one you can borrow for free, but if busy, may be taken. Cafe is a fair walk from reception too..but worth visiting.

Great day out with my daughter, who's disabled. Thought there might be more horses though, as some of the paddocks were empty. Facilities were very clean. Cafe was reasonably priced, gift shop was a bit overpriced on some items. Loads of parking. Friendly staff. We will be visiting again.

Beautiful day out. The horses, mules and donkeys are the happiest I think I've ever seen. So much room to graze and exercise. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Very clean and fresh. My children had a lovely time meeting the animals.

Really admirable project. Spacious carpark, welcoming reception staff, then the horses, ponies, donkeys, many with very sad history. The shop and café with an outside seating area offer one a chance to donate to the Redwings charity.

The horses and donkeys are so well kept. It's really well organised and easy to navigate. You can walk around as much or as little as you want.

I go here regularly with my daughter. It's a lovely place to have a walk around, look at at pet the horses. The horses and Donkeys are clearly well looked after. Entry is free, however, you can make donations in the reception area via card. Oliver's cafe is great, yummy food & good prices.

Lovely place to visit. Able to take dogs along, cafe is dog friendly. Horses etc look very well looked after. Only reason I’ve knocked a star off is because we ordered two panini and two sausage rolls for lunch at the cafe and it took a good 40 minutes to arrive. The cafe didn’t seem busy so unsure why the hold up. Spoilt the day as we had a lot planned and waiting for lunch for so long we hadn’t factored in.

I really enjoyed my visit here, loved seeing the animals there. Staff were really friendly, everywhere looked clean and tidy. I even adopted a horse and that was very cheap for a year, and made me feel good to be helping out.

Loved our visit to see the horses and donkeys! The place was so peaceful and made you feel so relaxed as you walked around. They had lots of signs to tell you all about each horse/facts about the sanctuary itself which was handy and interesting. The staff were all so friendly and polite- made you feel very welcome! Its also dog friendly (on leads of course) and my 2 collies loved walking around in the fresh air. It was all disabled friendly and we managed no problem getting a small mobility scooter around. Easy to find your way around and you can walk as far or as little as you fancy- there's horses near and far to see! Overall just a fabulous day out- highly recommend :)

A lovely gem of a place that deserves a visit. Very family friendly place and staff were GREAT. Don't forget to visit the cafe (during or afterwards) for a drink and slice of cake!

Lovely place to visit and great work being carried out. If you're ever in Great Yarmouth on holiday, spend a morning or afternoon appreciating the care Redwings is giving the animals on site. The café is also well worth a visit to refresh after walking around the paddocks.

We love visiting here - we've been several times before and always bought a souvenir picture from the shop. The horses aren't overly friendly; they don't come to you if they're not already at the fence. But those that are close enough seem to love a good fuss over. They all have plenty of space to roam which is nice to see. Free to enter, donations taken. Plenty of space in the car park and toilets were clean.

Amazing place, hidden gem, free to park, free to go, lovely large 70 acre site with paddocks of horses donkeys and ponies. Got to meet and greet the donkeys. They have toilets and a cafe which was dead reasonable, I had 4 lattes and 4 large slices of homemade cake, and a homemade large sausage roll and it only came to £21. Will definitely come here again.

Had a lovely time visiting. Enjoyed walking around and stroking the friendly horses. The café has a good selection of cakes and drinks on offer and all the members of staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful.

Another trip with the mini bus full of high school students. We were greeted by reception staff who explained the site. We camped out at the cafe and enjoyed lunch. The staff were very friendly and enjoyed chatting to our students about their activities week. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed visiting the horses and ponies, the site is very well maintained.
