AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS. I don't even know where to begin. This is the third time in the last few months that they could not find a prescription I was picking up. How they are so poorly managed is mind boggling. How hard is it to put medicine in a labeled bin, and then log it into the system so it can be found within seconds? Instead they'll have you standing there for 20 minutes while they search every bin, holding up the rest of the line making everyone else suffer too since they're under staffed and dont have enough people working the counters. Find a different pharmacy that can do the simple task of putting something into a bin and logging that bin # into the system.

Worst pharmacy ever! Cannot get them on phone unless you want to waste your time. Can’t find percription when told it was ready. Nobody seems to care to help. Automatic calls after medicine picked up. Will now use Rite Aid - much better!

It ridiculous how long you are waiting on hold over the phone. Made 4 attempts (different times) and was waiting on hold for over 20 mins and even then I finally gave up after not getting through to anyone all 4 times!!!!

This used to be a friendly and fast pharmacy they kept me for over 40 mins I called to verify the prescription was ready days ago and confirmed they said yes then I go to pick up and they said no prescription. I even saw the pharmacy staff with out any gloves refilling prescriptions

Matthew is a terrific pharmacist! Today I had a problem with a common prescription and he was able to resolve it quickly with the insurance company. I know this store is always extremely busy with customers and for Matthew to always be so patient and helpful is amazing. I wanted to be sure he receives the recognition he deserves and I trust corporate CVS sees this review as well. Jay

Creepy night manager, followed me around the store. Any aisle I was in, he would be there. Just hounding me. Don’t go here unless you want to be harassed

Great very friendly staff. Always have everything I need in stock. They also run weekly buy one get one free specials on Talenti gelato and Arizona iced tea! Which my family loves

The pharmacy staff changes often. It's better to come when it is not crowded at the pharmacy. not right before closing and 5-7. they just got a lot of healthier food items in like gluten free, but a little more expensive than the grocery. 24 hour store but pharmacy only till 10 during the week and 6 on weekends.

Pharmacy never picks up phone. Was on hold for over 45 minutes. Pharmacists are not knowledgeable and not caring.

Horrible. They sent 2 prescriptions to the wrong address and can't find them. Non-responsive. If they were medications I absolutely needed to take every day I'd be dead already. Stay away.

If my life depended on medication from here I would have been dead by now. They are regularly several days late on critical medications, and it seems you have to call them periodically to remind them that they are supposed to actually be filling the prescriptions they have flagged as "in process"

Pharmacy is horrible. I'd rather drag my balls over molten hot broken glass, instead of dealing with those idiotic self absorbed airheads!! The rest of the store is nice though..

This cvs is horrible . 3rd day in a row they wouldn't let me buy vanilla cards . Cvs in center moriches had a limit per day . They workers acted like I was a criminal. Nasty , disrespectful and had a friend talking to her , listening in to my transaction. As I walked away I heard her talking bout me . Don't go there . So many better cvs stores with nicer workers . I will never step foot in there again !! Disgusted . Shame on you CVS

When did a pharmacist become my doctor? Vivien Chen the pharmacist in the cvs in merrick argued with me about a medication. Last I looked she isn’t an MD!!

Do NOT use this locations Minute Clinic for a sleep study. Their website claims that they offer them. What they don't tell you is that CVS outsources the testing to another company that wants to charge $200 cash or $400 if you use insurance to get the test done. Complete bait and switch advertising.

They turned our flu shot away and told us to go get the shot with our doctor because our insurance does not cover flu shot. My insurance does cover flu shot because the employee did not want to do anything or ask for help.

The pharmacy staff has always been pleasant and helpful to me and has always been professional. They go out of their way to see my needs are met, when they aren't it is for matters beyond their control.To help with the matters of overworking the pharmacy staff- I would strongly suggest that only phamaceutical goods be bought at this counter, inconvenient for some but in general would maximize efficiency.

I had such a beautiful experience this morning with the two girls at the minute clinic. They were so patient, kind and supportive with both my son and I during his vaccine experience. I'm actually really thankful that I dealt with them and not his regular doctor. He got the meningitis a vaccine and I'm very grateful for their help.

Nothing but dysfunctional in the pharmacy. Can’t find prescriptions, don’t answer the phone, waiting time 25-45 mins. Text messages that prescriptions are ready don’t match up to when you get there, they say “ oh not ready or oh didn’t get in a shipment”. But why was I notio to come in? Oh computer doesn’t know. That’s their idiotic reasoning. Pharmacy staff isn’t interested in anything the customers have to say or need, just want to end the day of working there. Could care less about anyone’s prescriptions, insurance or the like.

I had been calling in at different locations looking for a particular formula and Julissa (I hope I didn’t kill her name, lol) was so helpful on the phone and made sure to check if they had it..they did! I was already ready to give up, and she made my day. Thank you, Julissa!!

Worst pharmacy ever. My 3 year old went without his meds for days because they never notified me it was ready - even when i stopped in and asked! For my medications, my insurance had to call them to get involved because they wouldnt work with me. I have a lot of allergies to meds, Dr told them to double check ingredients and call pharmaceutical company - they said thats not their job and made me do it. i became very sick from this, allergic reaction... while being on medications for getting over thyroid cancer. They are all incompetent, rude, and lazy. I am reporting them... they can kill someone. Switching back to my old pharmacy who didnt get their degrees from a cereal box.

I tried to print pictures, and had to do it a few times because nothing would print. When I asked the guy with the blonde hair at the check out counter that its not printing 5x7 prints he said try again. I replied, I have many times. Maybe he could have checked to see if the machine is out of paper, is that too much to ask for?

This place is awful, the only reason I go here is to use my banks atm and when I'm forced to pick up a prescription. Their checkout line is often a disaster, one or more of the 4 self checkout machines are almost always broken. My recent trip? I went to the atm but I also needed some more gold bond powder. No problem right? Try finding it. I could find the sample size no problem. Beyond that, I searched the store several times over with no success and >no assistance offered<. I went home and ordered it online from Amazon.

My doctor calls a prescription in on 9-2. I go 9-10 alto pick up and I still have to wait geez

Loveeeee the store but no one ever answers the phones...including the pharmacy!! I don’t know why the front isn’t answering but luckily I never have any other issues with them aside from that. I do have important questions to ask and I have prescriptions that I think were filled incorrectly and I can’t even speak to a pharmacist. I’m also needing to see if a medication for my daughter is finally not on back order anymore so it can be refilled, but nooooo, no one answers the phone. I can’t come over to the store at this time bc I have no way of getting there. Would really be nice if you ANSWER THE PHONESSSS!!! Just so you know how long I was waiting for someone to pick up and how many times I’ve called today, here’s the run down on that one: been calling allllllllll day!!! And I’ve been on hold on and off all day. I go on hold for 30 min and give up and then wait a little while and try all over again, and again, and again. I’d go over there if I was able to but I cannot. Thank you CVS for being the most annoying store to call!! The store is great but the pharmacy absolutely sucks the most. Between not answering calls and messing up on prescriptions quite a lot, it gets very annoying over time. I think I have to leave this pharmacy for good.Btw, your automated call system is the WORST!!!

Excellent store and good workers

I love coming to this CVS because its local to me, but I honestly dont like it when the security gaurd asks me to use the self check out. I rather have a HUMAN do their job, and keep their job. I only use it if the line is ridiculously long and I have a few (3) items. There was NO LINE and I was asked to use selfcheck out. As it was, I needed assistance.. and luckily the worker Rob helped me, and I explained I had to come here instead of going to him at the register. This would have been just easier if I went to the human cashier in the first place. Otherwise the store is clean and the workers are friendly.

Definitely need to add more cameras because the following around is ridiculous seriously makes you uncomfortable wont be returning here

this pharmacy has excellent service and is very quick. they are very well informed on medical needs. the rest of the store is a little annoying bc alot of stuff is locked up behind glass and its a real pain to get staff to focus on anything

I dont do alot of prescriptions, but I feel like I've been here kind of a while waiting. There's gotta be a better system. They know I'm waiting too, so it's not like they made it up and chucked it in the pile for pickup. Or maybe they did? Is this wait my fault? In any case, not the best.

Realize that one bad review was from a user with no other reviews, using a scatological anatomical reference inappropriate for a general review site. That said, this is a typical CVS pharmacy. The staff is young, overworked, underpaid, and the level of attention you're going to receive is going to spring from that. However, there are more than a couple staffers that go out of their way to help anyone who needs it, sometimes to a fault. The pharmacists are likewise overworked, but courteous and friendly, and therefore are at times taken advantage of by what I like to call "professional patients," whose preoccupation it seems to be is take up the pharmacists' and staff's time from helping the other patients waiting in line behind them. In other words, it's a typical CVS.

It's a good store the problem is when you walk in the staff is on their phones or texting and not paying attention to the customer I was on the register trying to buy something and I had to wait for the girl to finish texting before I can get up there which was not right to do other than that if they pay attention to get off the phone and you would be a good store
