Experienced blatant racism. Security staff let/were prepared to let all 5 of my white friends through, however outright refused to let my Muslim friend of Pakistani heritage, and myself (a turban-wearing Sikh of Punjabi heritage) through. No credible response was given. We were completely sober and yet only us two were refused. Shameful and ruined a great night in the city.

It’s a great place! Very beautiful and nicely decorated! Great karaoke sound! The place is a bit small so it gets crowded! Would also have been nice if there was a stage for the karaoke singer and if the singer can face the audience. They also have a live music session which is also quite cool! Overall, a great place and definitely recommend a visit!

Karaoke was fun. A lot of people joined in. Met some cool people and had some good laughs! I recommend arriving early. The pub gets jam packed after 10pm

I have been a regular at the Irish Pub for the last couple of months and I cannot recommend it enough. The Pub has an amazing variety of beer to choose from. Everyone gets their moneys worth! The service at the Pub is also perfect. The staff is friendly and always willing to make recommendations based on your preferences. They are knowledgeable about the beers they serve and are happy to chat with you about the different flavors and styles. The Karaoke bar on the right hand side of the Pub is also a huge draw for me. It is always packed with people looking to have a good time, and the atmosphere is electric. Most of the singers are talented and the crowd is always cheering them on. It's a great place to let loose and have some fun. I have been to the Pub 3 to 4 times a week the last couple of months and I have never been disappointed. The Pub is also a great place to watch sports, with multiple TVs showing all the big games. Overall, I highly recommend the Irish Pub. It's a great place to grab a beer, have some fun and enjoy some karaoke. The staff is friendly, the beer is delicious, and the Karaoke bar is always a good time. I will definitely be back again and again.

I've been to Cheers Irish Pub in more often now, which is a super alternative to the otherwise relatively exhausting Bairro Alto. The security is extremely friendly and courteous compared to the security staff in other bars, and the staff and guests are invariably nice. Attention is paid to cleanliness in the restrooms and a good atmosphere. Always happy to return!

The coldest atmosphere you could find in a pub (Irish or not). Not one smile on the waitresses' faces, they were more interested in refilling our glasses even if they were not finished. Terrible experience, you could find a happiest mood in a graveyard.

Great vibe with one room dedicated to group sing-a-long karaoke, and the other a quieter space with the resident live band. Thoroughly entertaining and a friendly staff make a night at this pub very memorable. The only complaint from us would be the price of the beers.....almost like being back in London!

Cheers is an awesome bar! It has everything you could wish for: a side with drinks, cozy vibes and good live music and another one with karaoke where you meet so many people just by singing along to "love story", it's a great vibe!

Great bar to go out with friends and drink : the personal is extremely friendly, the bar has a great atmosphere and you have two sections : the karaoke and the "normal" bar where sometimes you even have singers coming to play live music.The only negative aspect I would give to this live music is that the sound is very loud so you can't really talk with friends 🥲

Super friendly staff and the best vibe!! We went two nights back to back and they had live music duos each night in the pub section - both amazing. The karaoke section was so lively too, and we had the best time! (To the band on 23/06 - your cover of Everybody’s Changing by Keane made my night. Incredible.)

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere! Gets very busy so we had the best time celebrating my partners birthday there! They accommodated for everything, a celebration song at 12 celebrating into his birthday, some party gifts for pictures and a special shot for him at midnight! Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect!

On weekends it's extremely crowded, but during the weekdays it's fine and the atmosphere is also always amazing. Thry screen the lyrics on the wall and everyone can sing along while microphones are going randomly in the crowd. Cool place.

My wife and I had a nice time at this pub speaking with a Nepali guy that worked there -- really friendly and open. The Kilkenny was delicious and fresh. Too many TVs for my taste, but I guess that is standard in Irish pubs these days. They could do with removing a few cobwebs. Just joking, it was halloween.🤣

It’s a great place to meet new people, have fun, sing all together! Just great vibes for all ages. The beers are normal prices, cocktails on the other hand a bit pricey! The place have two areas well isolated from each other: in one you can have your karaoke night, and the other part live concert. Nb: during the weekends it’s a bit crowded (the place is small) but you can still enjoy the time there!

Spent the evening here. Place was friendly enough, bar the karaoke DJ and his lackey which bring it down to one star. ‘Karaoke’ was a sham and the volume on the microphone was turned down to zero. When I gave the microphone back to the DJ and told him there was no point singing due to this. I was given abuse. I quote verbatim “if you even look at me again I will make sure you end up going out of here in hospital”. Horrible place with horrible abusive staff.

A nice pub with two different areas. It has one side of the pub reserved for Karaoke whilst the other side is for live music (they usually have live bands/musicians). Usually packed after 22pm with Brits and Irish of course. The prices are a bit higher than the usual Portuguese bars.

Service was good, a bit too busy for my taste but good vibes all around. Just had drinks, no food not sure if there was good. Long story short if you don't mind the chaos(good kind) it's a great place to visit and if you like to sing karaoke 🎤 go for it.

It‘s a very nice Irish Pub. I went yesterday (Saturday night) with two friends there and there was karaoke and music in between. It was nice to dance and sing along all together. It‘s very loud so don‘t expect great performances there but it‘s funny. Drinks are good and cheap. Good bar, I recommend!

Doorman was checking no vaccine passes until I, a south Asian, tried to get in with a group of friends. Despite being fully vaccinated and showing him proof of negative PCR test he still refused entry on the basis that I wasn’t vaccinated yet let my English friends in! Steer clear!

A bar in the very center of the city, open until 2am, a solid selection of beers, affordable prices, the girls who work are smiling and friendly, there is karaoke every night and the fun is guaranteed. Mostly filled with tourists.

Amazing pub with a lot of drink choice and very welcoming staff. It often features live music and places sport on the tvs. It's definitely worth a visit as one of the more lively pubs in the bario Alto area. The prices are very good too.. Always guaranteed a great night out there.

People were kind enough, but a place more for swarming with your buddies to get wasted. Went for karaoke, very difficult to accomplish here. Getting in a song is an experience in itself. If you manage to make it to the dj, huge win. If you actually request an available song, you truly are the dancing queen.

Nice karaoke bar in Lisbon. However, last time we went the ‘dj’ was very unfriendly and didn’t accept songs if he didn’t like it. At the end of the night he even sang songs by himself while we were not allowed to sing. That’s not why we came to a karaoke bar..

The manager and one of the karaoke hosts (not Santiago) are extremely rude. I have never been so badly treated in my life, and I watch others having the same treatment all the time. I have made complaints but it just gets worse. The only reason this place is still open it's because of tourists (really drunk ones). Locals NEVER come back. I never will! CORRECTION: went back yesterday and got kicked out by the security for absolutely no reason. I made another complaint and this time I will be checking regularly to see where it goes. You can take that to the bank.

Generally speaking, I really like Irish pubs. But concerning this one, the bouncers and the DJ are incredibly rude. The DJ is paranoid that drinks will be spilled on his sound system. Therefore, he randomly pushes people who get „too close“. But he also often just calls the bouncers and you get thrown out for no reason. This place is really embarrassing. I would not go there again. There are many better places nearby!

Super nice vibes with live band playing requests night (they were quite talented), drinks were good, the service as well. The prices are slightly on the expensive side for portugal, but with everything else being great can't really complain. I think people in their late 20s or 30s, either couples or groups of friends, would enjoy this place a lot.

Your typical Irish bar; Guinness, live music, lots of wall art and smiling faces. It was pretty crowded so we didn't stay long. One side had live music and the other karaoke. A younger crowd. Didn't have any food so can't speak about that.

An Irish bar on one of the busiest streets in Lisbon. One room is all kareoke and the other usually has live music. Staff are quick and attentive.

It's a decent sized beer hall, 2 sides, cosier with live music or footy and karaoke. I stay on the live music side. Great bar staff. €5 for a Guinness is the going rate in Lisbon and they go down well. The small stage for live music is classic!

Awesome place, where you have live music in one side and karaoke in the other side of the pub. We had two amazing evenings at this place with a lot of fun. The beer was also very delicious.

They have a Karaoke bar, and live music (i did not get to the live music part) really nice vibe I sang one song but would have liked to sing a few More.... I definitely recommend this bar. Even if you don't like singing the ambiance (vibe) is really really nice it was crowded but that's always the case with a great bar.

Nice Irish bar but the smell coming from the mens toilet put us off so we left after 1 drink and there was other seat to move to. Nice friendly staff also.

Came here multiple nights and enjoyed it compared to many venues in lisbon. Cons Over packed the venue like most venues in lisbon, you can't move, buy drinks , get to the bathroom. They don't turn the lights down...it's so bright the whole time, really kills the vibe. Staff tell you off if you sit or lean against the tables. Despite the fact there are 200 people in the venue and you can't move and tables are everywhere in the way and you are getting crushed against them in the crowd. You can't move.....I can't tell you this enough literally insane, stop letting so many people in, it's impossible to get a drink. Turn the lights down, restrict the door and stop been idiots about people trying to sit in the venue you mismanage. We were regulars but will not return.
