Firstly, if you think the place is closed try ringing the bell and wait to be let in. The decor is really good. The upholstery however looks a bit worn. Do not come to this place if you want to try cocktails. If you want to order don’t go beyond whiskey and coke. Also, this place is more expensive than the other bars.

Very quirky bar with multiple rooms. Each room is lined with walls full of collectibles ranging from cups to hats to figurines. The inner most room has some nice sofas and a couple of pool tables. The staff was not courteous. The section they seated us in near the entrance had broken make shift sofas and upon asking for a change, they refused us another table despite plenty visibly being empty. The music was present in some spaces. The absence of music in other spaces really dimmed the vibe. The drinks menu was robust, but the couple of cocktails we tried were incredibly sweet. We asked for the check three times, and it was only brought after the third request. A very underwhelming space. Interesting to look around but that’s about it.

Dec 2023: Works Do! Our third trip to Lisbon. Such a beautiful place, especially Christmas! Probably my favoubar in Lisbon! Hidden, quirky, if you know, you know! Nov 2018: Works Do! Sep 2016: Our first time!

Super quirky, super good staff and fantastic (and massively extensive) drink menu. We went in on a Monday night and there were probably 10 parties total in the super spread out bar. The ambiance is great: there was very random American music from the 80s and 90, there are so many things to look at and we ate ham at midnight. No complaints, will definitely recommend this to all my friends visiting. You do need to ring the doorbell to get in, we were pretty confused because we thought they were closed but we just didn’t ring the bell for them to come out and check our vaccination cards.

Unbelievable! One of the quirkiest bars I have ever been in. At first we could not find this place, there is no sign outside and it nearly looks like a derelict building from the outside. The door was locked so we had to ring the doorbell to get in. Staff are not very friendly or attentive, I'm not sure if they are told to act this way as part of an act or something. We still enjoyed our couple of drinks here, and looking at all the memorabilia on display. We got free nibbles and the prices for drinks very reasonable. Off the beaten tourist track and well worth a visit.

Just a mediocre visit here. We dropped in one afternoon to find ourselves surrounded by collections of almost everything under the sun, mostly behind glass cabinetry. It’s nostalgic, for sure. Lots of eye candy. But unlike other people’s experiences, we found unfriendly staff here from the moment we entered to the moment we left. We sat at the bar thinking we might chat with someone, but the bartender and other staff were entirely uninterested in us. Never said a word, just brought our drinks- that’s it. It was a long, hard walk to get to this place, so needless to say, it was a solid disappointment. 👎 NOT recommended

I love the bar and the decor! The staff are friendly and welcoming. They accommodated my party with six adults and a baby very well! I would come back. Drinks are okay, and I would suggest sticking with beer if you are particular about cocktails.

My husband made a point of the 2 of us stopping by here while we were in Lisbon. I must say, it is one of the most interesting places I've ever been to. The different rooms with all kinds of memorabilia. If the walls could talk, the stories would be amazing. The atmosphere was very "chill". It was quiet, but not too quiet. Enough chatter amongst the patrons. What was lovely to see was every person who got up from their seat to walk around and return with a "wow, this place is so cool/interesting" look on their face - priceless. We had 2 Old Fashioned's each - well made. Definitely would come back when we are in Lisbon again!

I must say that this fantastic place is a must visit place in Lisbon. From the moment you enter the bar, which hosts various collections of its owner, you feel like you have entered a different atmosphere. Various collections such as various old toys are displayed in wooden and glass display cases that rise to the ceiling. The venue, which consists of five sections in total, has different seating areas and tables. I'm sure you can find a corner where you can relax. For those who want to spend more active time, I can recommend the game options such as the pool table in the back section. The place has an extensive beverage menu, especially teas from various regions. We tried different teas and liked them all. Unfortunately, the only thing that failed in the place was the waiters and the service. The waiters were quite incompetent and rude. So the service was also quite slow. We didn't have any issues but their attitude towards customers was irritating.

Found this interesting bar by accident! Was a great surprise as it literally feels like we were having some drinks at the old museum. Mainly served drinks and limited snack menu. We had a great evening. Would be coming back here and bring our visitor friends from abroad.

The location and decoration have so much potential, but the experience falls short on poor service, the music seems out of place (Barbie girl is a strange choice for a cocktail bar), and very mediocre cocktails. The cocktails taste of cheap liquor and the glassware is uninspired and does not fit the intended style of the drink. However, the prices are reasonable, so lower your expectations and enjoy the quirky decor.

I did not eat here, I just went in for drinks with friends. What a fun place! You have to ring a bell to get in and the staff is all business. The drinks were very fancy looking and the walks are filled with a bunch of odd collections.

This place has a great atmosphere, delicious drinks (enormous drink menu!), and friendly staff. Various rooms, great for large groups or intimate dates. Amazing collections of many things. Lots of interesting and random objects, all neatly organized and perfectly displayed. One could spend hours in here just observing everything. I will definitely be back here.

What a place! If you only go to grab a drink and stare at the walls for an hour, you will still have an experience! We thought the place was absolutely brilliant except for the staff who were actually quite weird - or they were playing up to some strange idea that they had to be super stiff and even rude in a small way, as part of the “experience” perhaps? anyway, the waiters all turned away from me as I tried to engage them regarding the history of the bar, except for one young man. He, on the other hand, was willing to talk briefly and when asked whether he liked working there, hesitated for a long time and then said” No, not really”! I think the head waiter/owner/big guy needs to lighten up a bit and not take himself too seriously. I think he, his staff and especially his punters would have a far better time if he did! Still, the G&T I had was superb and the place is quirky beyond compare, so check it out.

A place to go for a couple of cocktails and a pool game after diner. Quite and very beautiful is you’re into that kind of vibe. Make sure you visit all the rooms before picking a table, it’s worth the look.

Very difficult to review. The place itself is really cool with multiple rooms with treasures around each corner - you just don’t know where to look! Would be so cool to explore. Sadly though the atmosphere and service was just awful. A very grumpy bar man ignored us standing at the bar for the first 5 minutes and then told us we needed to sit at a table. We couldn’t sit in the room we wanted with interesting planes ( no idea why) and didn’t get a choice of table. Wandering to look around was definitely discouraged. We had to use our phone to find a drinks list which was very confusing and didn’t include wine bizarrely. We didn’t have a clue what to order as the menu was so disjointed so settled for a coke. The staff hovered constantly looking at the clientele which was a strange feeing, and for such a quirky cool place they were dressed and behaved in a very dated and old fashioned way. We both agreed it was such a cool place but a horrible weird and unfriendly atmosphere. A real real pity as with the right staff and set up, the place could be awesome. As it was we felt really uncomfortable and finished drinks quickly so we could leave.

This was a great find! I sat at the bar and the cocktail waiters easily made two IBF cocktails I ordered without me even checking the menu. The interior is very interesting with lots of toys and memorabilia to see. Two pool tables. Was quite busy. On entrance they asked to see COVID vaccination proof (in November 2021).

One of the most interesting bars I’ve ever been to!!! It’s a speakeasy styled bar filled with all sorts of collectibles— anything from old maps, figurines, toy cars, military memorabilia to an assortment of mugs… the more you look, the more you’ll find! Lovely atmosphere, great drinks at reasonable prices. Majority of waiters there didn’t speak english, but they were helpful and friendly and tried their best to understand us. An attraction in its own rights!

Beautiful place with friendly personel. It is a place you have to visit in Lisboa just for glass of wine or shot of Bagaço. Take a seat, chill and have a chat with waitress or barman. Nice experience and a great collection of different things.

Very unusual yet absolutely captivating bar for those who like something totally out of the ordinary. I've never been anywhere quite like it before... A wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling collection across 4 rooms of mostly military artifacts, models, and toys beautifully curated and displayed like a private museum. Upon ringing the doorbell, one of the impeccably dressed waiters will answer the door and invite you in for a seat amongst the collection, menu is delivered via a QR code along with free WiFi and your order will be promptly taken and served. Cocktails are traditional, with a few interesting house specials; professionally mixed, great tasting and good value. Make sure you take a wander around all the rooms to fully appreciate the collection - there's also two pool tables in the sprawling back room bar

A walk on memory lane. Partly a tea house and a wine bar Pavilhão Chinês is famous for its preserved figurines and 80s erotic vibes. You even have to ring at the door to enter.

A must see if you are visiting. Probably the most unique bar I have ever been to. Super fun to get a drink and walk around. Cocktails were €10 but you will do more looking then drinking here.

A place of history in Lisboa. You can sit there and admire the decorations and collection of toys and other items for a long time. Drinks were nothing special but are reasonably priced. Service was fast when we were there.

Perfectly charming cocktail bar which is worth a visit but perhaps too touristy for me. A museum of curiosities. The martini was rather good

Fun curiosity shop of a bar. Great music and delicious wine. We enjoyed wandering around to view the owner’s extensive collection. Wow!
