In my top 3 breakfast places in Lisbon. Go for the set menu and you will be surprised! Very good price for the quality and you can easily share it between 3 people (not 2) as it’s huge! We have been there couple of times and also took our friends visiting Lisbon. Definitely recommend! There can be a queue.

This was the perfect brunch! The amount of food you get for the price is perfect! Plus, it includes drinks. The potatoes, eggs, and bacon were cooked to perfection. The mango salad was a little bland, but a pinch of salt made it perfect. The fruit bowl was a great finishing touch. The Iced latte was fantastic. I really enjoyed this café.

I sat outside and enjoyed an amazing breakfast. The Royal Wedding combo was fantastic for the price. It included salmon benedict, fruit and granola pancakes, a small carafe of mimosa, and your choice of hot beverage all for €19.50. portions were perfect. Very filling a delicious way to start your day. A must visit spot in Alfama.

Great experience, good food, and drinks. Came here for breakfast as part of our list to visit for breakfast—overall happy us. Ambiance was cool, a little bit squeeze but great vibes. Staff are friendly and attentive. We’ve ordered 2 americanos Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Pork Sausage Quase Benedict We waited for decent time but the food didn’t serve together- I have to wait for a little bit for Quase Benedict. I loved the quality of the egg Benedict, very rich and good portion. As for the scrambled egg - too savoury for hubby but overall good quality. The coffee intensity was good as well. Both meals we had with good portion along with the coffee. Overall Price: 17.40€ Definitely will recommend everyone to visit this place for good breakfast experience.

One of the best brunch places I have ever been to. Had to wait to get a table on a Tuesday morning. Portion size is plenty. The variety in menu is really good. The service is great. Would highly recommend if you are in Alfama or even visiting Lisbon.

Nice cafe with brunch.👍 A good selection of vegetarian options. Toasts with pesto, tomatoes and cheese were very tasty. I ordered pancakes with fruit and honey, everything was delicious, but too much powdered sugar :) The service was pleasant and attentive.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Quase Café, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! I opted for the healthy breakfast option. The healthy breakfast spread included a delicious combination of yogurt and granola, fresh fruits, creamy avocado toast topped with a perfectly poached egg, two fluffy oat pancakes drizzled with honey, a refreshing detox juice, and a comforting cup of coffee. It was a feast for the senses and a perfect way to start my day. What impressed me the most was the freshness of the ingredients. The fruits were ripe and juicy, the granola was crunchy, and the poached egg was cooked to perfection. The oat pancakes were light and fluffy, and the honey added a delightful touch of sweetness. The detox juice was a refreshing blend of flavors, and the coffee was rich and aromatic – a true coffee lover's delight. In addition to the delicious food, the service at Quase Café was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. Their warm hospitality added to the overall positive experience, making me feel right at home. One of the best aspects of my visit was the excellent value for money. Considering the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients, the healthy breakfast option was a steal. I felt satisfied and energized without breaking the bank – a win-win situation!

Wonderful breakfast place in Lisbon. It exceeds expectations on all fronts. We all love every bite of the fantastic cakes, pancakes, toast, scrambled egg. Play sheets are brilliant for waiting the orders. Highly recommended ❤️

The place is a bit overpriced and aimed for international clients. Avocado egg toast was good, but unfortunately the pancakes were tasteless. Smoothies and fresh juices are worth to try. For the food I expected better.

Delicious and affordable. Had everything you'd want for breakfast and more. We got the brunch for two breakfast and it was €30. Could barely fit all the food on the table and it was all fresh, hot and delicious. Staff were all very helpful and friendly too. Great breakfast cafe.

Service staff is really nice and friendly, Espresso and Quase Eggs (my first visit. No picture) was amazing too. It was a little wait but the place was full, worth a try. Second time I ordered the trio (picture).

A Memorable Brunch Experience in Lisbon I recently had the pleasure of visiting a delightful brunch spot in Lisbon, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. Nestled in a charming narrow alley, this hidden gem offered not only scrumptious food but also exceptional service and a unique ambiance. The staff greeted us with smiles and a genuine eagerness to cater to our individual needs. Their attentiveness and friendliness made us feel right at home, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It was evident that they took pride in providing excellent customer service. The highlight of our brunch experience was undoubtedly the delectable food. One aspect that added to the authenticity of this place was its location. Tucked away in a narrow alley, the venue exuded a charming and rustic vibe. The option to choose between indoor and outdoor seating further enhanced the overall experience. If you're lucky, you might find a spot quickly, but even if you have to wait for about 20 minutes, it's definitely worth it. In conclusion, my visit to this brunch spot in Lisbon left a lasting impression. The combination of friendly and accommodating staff, mouthwatering food, and an authentic location made it a truly memorable experience. If you're in the mood for a delightful brunch that caters to your unique preferences, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Just be prepared for a short wait, which will undoubtedly be rewarded with a wonderful culinary journey.

Had breakfast at Quase cafe just before my flight with 2 friends. I ordered the healthy combo about 15 euros which included a yogurt with granola, juice of the day, oat pancakes, avocado toast with poached egg and some fruit. The food was delicious and fresh, for mine and my friends, however the toast was a little stale and I was underwhelmed by the size of the pancake. That being said the oat pancake was very good and is my recommendation. My last criticism is the service is slow, as it took close to 30 mins for our food to be served, what I did enjoy was the kindness and joy the staff showed. Would definitely eat here again!!

Really beautiful indoor and outdoor space, in a lovely part of the Alfama district. Staff is SUPER nice and cheerful. Food is creative, beautiful and lots of healthy options. Had the beet latte and a croissant and it was reasonably priced!

Fantastic spot for brunch! We ordered two different menus, and the portions were more than generous. The food was delicious, homemade, and reasonably priced. What stood out for me was the tea—brewed with real tea leaves instead of a tea bag. We'll definitely be returning!

I was lucky to find this hidden gem. The most amazing atmosphere, great chill music, and a fantastic breakfast - love the pancakes! But what makes this place truly one of a kind is the people running it - the girls were so nice and welcoming that I found myself staying for 2.5 hours, enjoying my breakfast and playing Stop games - thanks for bringing back childhood memories 🙂

We came here twice for breakfast as this place is just amazing. It's so cute the setting and the music they play is an old school soul. The staff are super friendly. The second day was my partners birthday when we came in and the staff came in as a surprise with a free little cake and candle and sang my partner happy birthday. It was just amazing and we were both really happy. The food and coffee were also amazing. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and the following day a toast with scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. My partner had a pancake for her second day and she liked it. The prices are also reasonable. If you ever feel like eating breakfast or lunch in a cute setting with great soul music and food that tastes great and doesn't break the bank, check it out!

Sorry prices are ridiculous for this area and Lisbon. Locals can't pay for this kind of simple ingredients these amounts. In Mercado figuiera I get fresh juice, sandwich and coffee for 2 euros. And here cause they have a yoghurt with fruit and some speckled of granular, the charge 9 euros... Food can't go wrong is crepe etc.no science. But too expensive for our Lisbon salaries. Good for expats tourists and hipsters though. Beautiful place great service.

We (couple) came here mainly because of the good reviews. Now the Food is absolutely amazing! In my opinion, you won't find as *good* as a breakfast no where else near. However this comes at a price. Rather high prices, which in my opinion are still absolutely worth it! Due to it's success, this Café is rather busy and what follows are long waiting times, even though the servers are doing their absolute best. For a brunch without alcohol we had about 1h 30 until done. We did not mind, as we did not have any fixed plans afterwards. And good food takes time, right? But definitely not the place for "a quick bite". The tables outside are wiggly, the ones inside a bit "creative" so you'll sometimes, not always, be sitting in something else than a normal chair. I did not mind that at all, however some people might find either uncomfortable. I personally loved this place and would love to return.

  • 5/5 Nicole G. 2 years ago on Google
a bit pricey but portion was decent for the combo, the pancakes are whole flour and not fluffy , mostly flat and on the dry/ crunch side so lower that expection if you plan on ordering them

Very big portions with various products, such as 3 different toasts in 1 dish. Unfortunately, there is not much focus on herbs. The terrace is located on a street that represents typical Lisbon! Very nice just before you have to fly back!

I loved having and combo breakfast, it included two drinks (a cup of coffee/tea and juice), an avocado toast with eggs and pancakes with fruits( for all that you we paid about 13€). I visited here three days in a roll, just so we know how much I LOVE this tiny hidden gem. Everyday I start with a glass of smoothie named detox or cleansing, and with a variety of choices of brunch set like “the trio”, it comes with açaí bowl, tea, and three different types of toast. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Whewww wow this food was SO good!!! A must if you are in the area. I came here before heading to the castle and it was an amazing start to the day - I got the combo with scrambled eggs, potatoes sausage and toasted garlic bread with mozzarella - AMAZING. I came pretty early as a solo traveler and was able to get a set but by around 10 it started getting more busy and some groups had to wait. So delicious though!

So you have been looking for somewhere for breakfast. You stumble upon Quase Cafe. Looks good at first. But it’s all a lie. The food was mid - like mid. Not amazing at all. Tomatoes were gross. Scrambled eggs was tasteless. Now for the coffee I can’t be kind. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino (simple order) it came un- drinkable, we sent back and was bad again. We both work in cafes making coffee in London and the staff had the cheek to try argue “ this is how it’s done” Yeah well it’s done shit. Loads of flies inside. So if you want an alright meal and spend loads of money come you will have found your spot in Lisbon

The location is nice and sweet in a narrow street in the center of Lissabon. They have a proper variety of breakfast dishes and friendly service. I wasn't a fan of the eggs, because they were a bit too soft for my taste, but I'm sure there are many people that like it exactly like that! The bread was awesome, almost as good as German bread with a cross crust!

  • 4/5 Valerie T. 7 months ago on Google
The food is really tasty, but the service wasn't that good. Our waiter kept coming to take our order, every 5 minutes. Not all of my group spoke english so I had to translate everything in my native language. I told her I need one more minute to decide on my order and she litteraly stood there for one minute until I ordered something just so she could leave. I don't know why she was like this but that was the first and last time we visited that place on our trip.

Our family recently visited the Quase Café while on vacation in Lisbon. We liked it so much we went there twice in three days! Our waitress was Silvia and she had the kindest disposition and even offered to take a family photo for us. The food was exceptional and the presentation of the food was just as great. I would highly recommend this location and if I ever go back to Lisbon, will be sure to make another trip to this café.

Staff was friendly but they seemed pretty stressed and didn’t have much time. It took awhile but the food was amazing and the prices reasonable! The ambiance was artistic however it was also very loud, narrow and busy which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Amazing food (both in taste and preparation) and service, this small and quiet café is a great option if you are staying at or visiting Alfama. Sitting outside or by the windows is nice (weather permitting) but there can be some foot traffic, but inside is nice and cozy. Nice place, recommended!

Charming breakfast spot with pleasant staff. I got toast with caramelized onions and goat cheese which tasted amazing and looked even better. All the plates coming out from the kitchen looked great as well.
