A very typical Portuguese restaurant where you can eat best fish ever at a fare price. We couldn't enjoy food inside the restaurant 'cause there were this match and the place was full but they offered to have us at a appartment just around the corner. We were 4 and we ordered 1 dish per person (from 7 to 14 euros) plus a sangria jar plus cheese and bread as starters and we payed 50 euros. Service was great and waiters were cool and charming.

Don’t wait for fancy beautiful renovated restaurant this one is small and super authentic. I swear this is the freshest sword fish I ever ate. Mixed grill was also super nice. It’s nice to see how buzzing hard working and happy this place is. We enjoyed a lot. Thank you❤️must go for sure

This is a spot to check out! Before we get to deep...**cash only - there is an atm down the road (then right on another road and on the left side) The chicken is great. The fish is great. The potato is great. Make this a stop. Trust. 🍻

Typical portuguese restaurant. Very good meat, fish and seafood 🥩🐟🦐. Also very good wine 🍷. The staff was very friendly and funny. We had olives and cheese as a starter, 1 bottle and 1 jug of wine, a steak a half chicken 🍗 and shrimps. We paid 35€. So we highly recommend this Restaurant 😋👌

Ok this is a must!!!! We were looking for Portuguese chicken and this was relatively close by and had good reviews. Yes it's not touristy but we had a great welcome from staff, and diners were very pleasant. Simple dinner of chicken, french fries and salad. Fantastic!! Wine for 5 euros a liter. We thought oh oh! Not a worry. Very drinkable. Then the bill.....37 euros for 4 people. Almost free!

It's not a tourist place, mainly locals. I ate the arroz de pato, and it was the best arroz de pato I have ever tried in my life. Simple, fair price, good size of meal, friendly and polite service, an authentic lisbon place! Cash only!

Just finished my meal and it was so tasty I could not wait to write a review. My god this could actually be the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had in my life, I was chewing every last bit off the bones. Whatever spice they used was absolutely delicious. I’ve never wanted to keep consuming chicken so bad. Highly recommend, literally finger licking good.

This is a really authentic small and unassuming restaurant frequented by local people, older people and workers. I hope they don’t get pushed out because the place becomes too popular. It deserves to be though because everything about our experience there was fantastic. We wanted fresh grilled fish and that’s what we got served with a side dish of broccoli and boiled potatoes that also tasted really good. The garlic prawns were amazing. My wife was not only happy with the taste and quality of the wine but also that the glass was full : ) The service was quick and very friendly and very good value. I highly recommend you visit.

Fantastic grilled meat at very affordable prices. We had the mixed grill and the chicken both of which were great. Wine was good at 1.20 Euro for a quarter carafe. Take note CASH ONLY!

Small hole-in-the-wall type of place that emanates trust and authenticity the moment you pass it. The restaurant was packed with great energy. We ate two fish platters with vegetables, 2 orders of bread, and mixed olives for 24€. The quality was fresh and grilled in front of us. Definitely recommend for either dine in or take out.

This is how I like to eat while travelling. We just walked in a general direction and stopped at the first place that looked fun. This tiny hole in the wall was full of local eating Sunday lunch. How could we go wrong? We didn’t! Portuguese style chicken, mixed grill, wine and water all for 16€. I could easily eat here daily.

I was looking for a good BBQ restaurant and walked through Lisbon to get go this place. Every single step was fully worth it. The best BBQ chicken I ever had. If you want great simple food in a place where locals go, than that's the place to be. It’s a hidden gem 💎. Why do I give 5 stars for the atmosphere? Because it's local and authentic 😇 . And when you pay you'll wonder if they missed anything on the bill because it's so cheap.

Really authentic portuguese grillrestaurant. We were there around 12pm lunch time and we were the only tourists. Service was friendly and welcoming. We had half of the charcoal chicken and the dourado, it was simple but perfect. Very nice taste from the grill and the homemade potato chips that came along with the chicken were great. At the end we took a bacalhau (fish croquette) to go, which was also very nice. Would recommend to stop here if around!

Very no frills. House wine is good (we mixed it with 7up like a sangria). The whole chicken is good for 2 people (add a small salad on the side). Ordered a flan to finish the meal! Looks like the locals love it too.

If you come here you know what expect, the food is ok, the location is small and super simple, the guys are very gentle, careful and fast. The prices are very good, you can eat with 10-15€. Even if all above I cannot give 5 stars sorry

Das Restaurant ist eine 10/10. Klein aber authentisch! Wir haben direkt einen Platz bekommen. Der Lachs und das chicken waren super fein. Zu zweit haben wir weniger als 30€ gezahlt. Wenn man in Lissabon ist, muss man hier auf jeden Fall essen gehen!!!!

If for You it's important to eat in elegant restaurant - please don't come here. But for me on the first place it's taste. I love this place. I ate probably the best chicken in my life here (for sure one of the best). Big size (one chicken with fries is for 2 persons). Good house wine! Prices are low. Many tourists come to Churrasqueira and i'm not surprised with this. 5/5.

Awesome food at low prices. I wish I knew about this place on my first day in Lisbon. It's a small place, so expect to be seated shoulder to shoulder with other patrons. If that doesn't bother you, you'll be able to taste amazing grilled fish and/or meat.

Small and authentic restaurant with delicious food and fair prices. Have eaten salmon there several times, always perfectly grilled and very tasty. Also highly recommended are the shrimp with lots of garlic for starters.

We had the best dinner there. Watched soccer with the locals. A family business and very friendly service. We are going back. Excellent price for generous portions.

A totally Portuguese place. All the locals seem to know the head chef. Very loud and clangy type place. House wine is cheap and excellent. Service is great and shouty at the cheffy. You can't get a better €8 steak with a super yellow egg on top. Happy days.

we got sea bass and golden fish! also 1/4 chicken and sausage. fish and fries were absolutely amazing but the sausage had a weird texture from what we're used to. would recommend checking this place out! it's popular with the locals so there will be a wait for sure.

Honestly, we've tried many authentic Portuguese restaurants in Lisbon, but this one was the most authentic. Here the locals are mixing with tourists/foreigners and have fun in a small but cosy place. The food was really great, I suggest the mixed grilled pork plate, but probably you can't go wrong with any item on the menu. Just come hungry, cause you get large portions! The porto wine was honestly, not the best, so worth one from the bottled wines. Service was quick and friendly. Seriously, this place worth the climb and short walk from the center. :)
