Very nice seafood restaurant that totally worth the wait and the hype. Try to make a reservation since the place is super busy all the time. Make sure you check their catch of the day shelf for the freshest seafood available and ask the best way to cook it. We had razor clams prepared in two different styles (grilled and with Portuguese souse), fresh oysters, and clams - all prepared perfectly. There are more options for Japanese style seafood like sushi, sashimi etc.

Got widow table seats which was great! Tapas styled seafood. Excellent service with detailed explanations of the dishes. Good creativity, with some Asian and other influences. Enjoyed the fresh oysters. The tuna capacio, not sure, couldn't taste the freshness and the sweetness of raw fish. Love the rice! The pork cheek, didn't like the flavor. The rest was okay.

This is a great restaurant situated in a good area with really fresh fish and seafood. It’s a bit pricey so you should be aware of that before heading there. They have a “market” with fresh fish. You can check it out and decide what you want and they will then prepare it for you. We had some sashimi and sushi and scallops. Attaching their menu to this review.

If you want only one quality seafood dish in Lisbon, this is it. Fresh seafood materials are placed in the restaurant. It is an exquisite combination of Japanese and Portuguese cuisine. The sardine sushi was the best among them. There are many fresh and amazing foods that you have never tasted before. The price is high, but no regrets. However, if you have eaten sashimi at a Japanese or Korean restaurant, I don't think you need to order it. Except that, it's perfect.

A really great place to eat fresh seafood and drink nice wine. We noticed it is usually full so we made a reservation in advance. The waitress was kind and checked on us regularly. We had a nice evening, a tasty and fresh dinner and enjoyed the experience. I would recommend it to my friends.

We came here based on a recommendation from the hotel we stayed at. To say this was an utter disappointment is an understatement. The staff was cold and hard to find, even though the restaurant was half empty. Our waitress disappeared at some point and appeared again at the end of our meal with no explanation. They needed reminders to get us something simple like bread. The food was mediocre and way over priced. I wish we had gone somewhere else. We have been in Lisbon a week and also to Porto and almost every other place has been great. By far this was the worst restaurant we have been to in all of Portugal.

We were able to secure a last minute reservation at this restaurant and it was amazing! There’s a great long, communal table in the middle that we sat on and the overall atmosphere is modern. There’s a great display of all the fresh catch that you can choose your meal from too. The food was great, simply put… we started with an order of the Cockles and Razor Clams; I think Razor Clams are my all-time favorite things! I also ordered the Prego, which I found to be one of the best I’ve had so far in Lisbon. We finished off with the Dorado, grilled and seasoned to perfection! The food here was just really, really good! Service wise, all the servers were very friendly and were great to the kids (we had the youngest kids there). I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Had the fresh fish in 9 moments which I would highly recommend for those who want to eat every part of the fish including the head. The sardine sushi was also superb but I didn't really enjoy the ceviche. Had a wonderful time and the wait staff were lovely too. Would definitely recommend those who are looking for sushi, sashimi or just simple grilled seafood in which the latter was done to perfection, fish was moist and juicy when grilled, crispy and crunchy when deep fried.

Outstanding seafood feast and an absolute must when in Lisbon. The sardine sushi is a well known crowd pleaser; just try not to order a dozen after you try one and save space for a variety of other ridiculously delicious goodies. Everything is great but I’d recommend their oysters, ceviche, any of the nigiris, and practically anything from the raw bar where you pick and cook things.

Fresh fish and oysters! 🐟🐚 We were searching for a place for dinner, and saw this place. It was packed, decided it was worth waiting for an hour. A lovely lady waiter helped us through the menu and explained everything. For starters we had some oysters and the seared prawns with garlic. Our main course was a whole dorade (seabreem) that we picked. It was served with some vegetables and potatoes. As for dessert, the meringue which was wonderful! All was accompanied by a great chablis All in all, we had a great evening!

Fresh seafood and great selection! The restaurant is packed though and can get a bit stuffy middle of the meal. Hard to make conversations as well but I guess you go there for really great food!

This was our first night at Lisbon, having just arrived that same morning. We asked the concierge at our hotel (The Ivens) to recommend a nearby seafood restaurant, thinking that we'll have a quick dinner and then turn in. But Sea Me was such a great place, amazing food and service, that we ended up staying for close to 2 hrs and even getting dessert! The concept of this place is basically you select the fish you eat and then they cook it for you. You don't need a lot of bells and whistles because everything is so fresh and tastes delicious. I had some local red fish, which had a very unique, rich taste (maybe the red bream) and then we shared the oysters as an appetizer (yes, please! Very smooth and tasty) and the creme brulee for dessert. Our waitress was excellent and provided the perfect recommendations to us. We had no issues using English everywhere. Now, it could be expensive, we each spent a little over 100 euros/person. But worth the money. If you're close to this central part of Lisbon, highly recommend Sea Me.

Absolutely impeccable seafood experience from start to finish. All the dishes were super high quality, and the act of choosing your own fish at the counter really made it special. The staff was helpful and informative - nothing bad to say, although it is quite pricey.

All the dishes we ordered were elegantly done. The tuna fish sandwich was excellent. It came with a whole fish steak. Tuna steak isn’t easy, but it was tender and cooked in perfection. Fish soup are with pumpkin base and it was as tasty as it gets.

Seafood here was really fresh. You can order off the fish market, the regular menu, or both. We highly recommend the sardine sushi - it was so good!

Centrally located, the fish is very fresh. I got codfish ( bacalhau) with fresh greens and baked potatoes, it was soft and tasty. I got oysters, they were fresh but not much flavor. The waiter was very nice and polite. A bit pricey, but it was a good option.

There were 5 of us visiting this seafood restaurant in Lisbon. We loved the atmosphere- very relaxing. The waitress we had was very professional & helpful. Food also was good, I am giving 4 stars only because out of all dishes nothing was above “good”. Anyway, this restaurant definitely should be suggested to visit out of all we ate at Lisbon. We spent 100 euros per person but we ordered A LOT!

One of my favourite restaurants in Lisbon for fresh fish, served in different and creative ways. The atmosphere is great and the service is superb. A must visit!

First dinner in Portugal so we went for sea food recommended by our hotel host. The fish was fresh and quite tasty even though just a simple way of cooking was applied.

Freshness is the real deal here and the wine list is interesting. Peculiarities include not giving the menu until you are seated and having ordered a drink. A bit too loud and requires shouting with the servers. But the tables contribute to a casual dinner where guests can engage and have a look at the plates. That said, the food was excellent.

What an amazing place! Fish was delicious, perfectly prepared and nicely presented. Also the wine selection is very nice. The only down side is the presentation of the dessert. It was very tasty but I let you judge by the photos..

This restaurant is very popular in downtown Lisbon. Here you can eat fish and seafood and you can even try sushi. We choose oysters and Sardine Nigiri as a starter and it was phenomenal, then we ordered as main plates sashimi sushi, tuna steak, tuna bitoque and turbot fish, that were on the perfect point and was incredible. The only problem we had was the time we waited to ask for the food. But although we had that problem I still think it’s a great restaurant and I certainly recommend it.

We had an amazing experience here. The food was absolutely lovely and we are usually quite picky. The staff was amazing and attentive, the wine suggestions was perfect! We left with the biggest smiles on our faces ane very satisfied stomachs! The selection of fresh fish was absolutely seductive, but we went with a la carte since we had been snacking all day. The next time we are in Lisbon, this is s certain go to place! - the vibe is also amazing, it's buzzing!

Delicious and very fresh. I like the concept of the fish market, to be able to see what is offered for the day. My favorite were the scallops in mango vinaigrette.

If you like sushi or fish / seafood it is definitely a place for you! Food is delicious, wine selection is also very good & service is amazing. I can highly recommend this restaurant. We’ve been there twice and I hope to return when back in Lisbon.

A great seafood restaurant in the heart of this amazing city. The specials of the day sounded great but there are a number of fantastic options on the regular menu. Service is top notch , food is great.

It’s a pretty restaurant in the city center, the prices are okay for the quality. But you get the fish with all its bones and it’s really unpleasant to eat it this way. The Tunasteak itself was okay, but it came with a brown sauce which became a strange combination. In general the combination tasted wired. We also had the sushi which I can recommend. White wine was fine, too. Can recommend the restaurant, but consider eating fishbones. Service was great.

Excellent freshly caught fish that you can choose and will be prepared for you right away! Friendly and attentive service. Good collection of suitable wines.

Incredible quality of seafood. The sardine nigiri is out of this world! But despite how top notch the food is, the service is even better. Knowledgeable, happy, friendly and funny. Worth every cent!

Absolutely fantastic food - especially loved the duo gunkan sushi of sea bass with clams. Highly recommend if you can get a space!! Staff are also very friendly and helpful, excellent experience!!

Had a fantastic dinner here seated at the counter. We had so much food ! My favorite were the Scarlett Shrimps, but their sushi is off the charts delicious. We had such a great service from Sofia we could have stayed all night. Everything was perfect and I’d go back here in a heart beat.

After sampling some of this restaurant’s dishes at the Time Out Market we decided to visit the place where they originated from. Once our table was allocated, we were taken to view the latest ‘catches of the day’ and decide if we would like any of the fresh items cooked or if we wanted to choose straight from the menu. As the seafood looked amazing we decided on both! We chose the Pan Sea Prawns and Garlic (from the menu), Scallops, Tiger Prawn (extra large)(from the fresh selection) plus some vegetables. Without a doubt this is some of the best seafood we have ever eaten and the Prawns with Garlic still make our mouths water just thinking about them!! We overheard a couple at another table say this was their 3rd visit during their trip for the octopus and we could understand why they kept coming back. We only wish it had not been our last day in Lisbon as we would have definitely gone back again before we left. An absolute must visit!!

What an amazing seafood dinner, love the concept that you can pick your own catch of the day from the sea. Best grilled fish and sashimi I’ve had in Lisbon! The service is on point too. We didn’t make reservation but waited at door when it’s open at 7pm, got lucky that have bar seats available :)

Oysters and sushi, what else? Sea Me is a great place for seafood lovers. It really does have a kind of fish market feeling as you get to choose your fish from a fish stand (similar to seafood restaurants in Egypt or some Mediterranean countries), however don’t be fooled as this is a pricey restaurant which is very hyped. Although overpriced, the food quality lives up to the hype. Oysters were fresh and sushi was as good as you would find in an upscale Japanese restaurant but the choices in sushi is limited. Definitely worth trying the sardine sushi which is special to Sea Me and Portugal. This place is always very busy, so make sure to book. At peak time unfortunately the service could be a bit slower and less attentive due the fact that the restaurant is busy. Have been there twice though and would go back again.
