I had an incredible experience here! This small and friendly place offers a cozy atmosphere where everyone sits close to each other, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Don’t know what previous reviewer is talking about. This place is amazing. Owner knows his wines and will make sure you’re happy - helps to have an open mind and be willing to try new or different wines. Great place to sit on the steps and people watch. Excellent friendly service, good English spoken. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, and excellent service! We came here for my friend’s birthday, and the waiter did so much to make the night special. Every dish we tried was delicious, with spot on recommendations.

Stretch to call this tourist trap a wine bar. Yes, they have a number of wines by the glass. No, they couldn't speak with any knowledge about any of them, make recommendations, or serve at the correct temperature. After 4 attempts to find a "non-fruity, full bodied" wine, I gave up and went with a Duoro one the waiter poured. My husband gave up after 3 attempts to find his and his 2 first attempts tasted like wine in bottles that had been open for some time. 7€ per glass wasn't cheap either for mediocre wine. I'd hit one of the other amazingly good wine bars instead. We didn't eat anything, so can't comment on the food. Cute outdoor seating on the stairs makes for good people watching. Maybe they had an off night. Have opinions; Will share.

The food is amazing!!! The best meal I've had in Lisbon. The staff is very friendly. You can see that they really care to give their guests a nice time, good service and great wine suggestions. It's a small restaurant, so better go early. Will be back at my next visit to Lisbon. @thelittlewinebarlisboa

It's probably my favorite restaurant I ate at in Portugal. The restaurant is run by 2 amazing siblings, brothers and sisters. They are so kind and sweet. I think it's because the brother was so kind and gentle, saying hello, so we dinned in that night. The food is amazing omg. The appetizers were delicious. The fresh orange juice was refreshing. The "tunna salad" was mouth watering.The ambiance was perfect, quiet, and low lighting. Do make a reservation if you can do these staircase restaurants get packed and who wants to wait 30 to 40 mins. I would eat indefinitely again lol 😋 yummy 5 star.

Cozy wine bar with a good selection. We did a wine tasting and be warned! They do Portuguese pourings - meaning we got to taste almost four full glasses of four different wines! The server was knowledgeable and eager to share. Good time!

Great wine and was very much surprised by the food! The cod was great and the staff was super patient and accommodating. Nice vibe overall but for such a small space the quality of food and wine is excellent.

We came here based on reviews and “family owned” restaurant. Service was good, very helpful with the wine selection and the wine was good. The food however was not so good. My steak was tough and I could not finish it, too chewy, so I returned more than half of my steak to the garbage. My wife ordered the pork confit. It tasted like it was heated up in a microwave. We left hungry and disappointed. I told the owner my steak was too tough, but that’s where we left it, no fixing the issue. I would not recommend this place for dinner nor would I return, too many better places to eat quality food in Lisboa!

Just FANTASTIC! So small and so welcoming. Only 7 tables but always full. I think this is our favorite place in Lisbon. Service was very friendly and super professional, you feel like you came to visit family! More importantly: food is just fresh and well presented. Big wine selection available and all at fair prices. We left dancing... thank you.

Outstanding! While traveling solo this was a lovely spot to sit at the bar, enjoy tasting 4 top Portuguese wines and a lovely dinner all for 40€. This is the cozy original location. There was a full house but Armindo the bartender was still very welcoming while managing to take care of all the customers. Impressive service and quality!

Absolutely lovely wine bar! Did a red wine tasting with a traditional Portuguese octopus dinner. Everything was fantastic, and the staff was very nice. Extra bonus they spoke great English and even helped me through my (terrible) Portuguese pronunciation!

A decent friendly wine bar for a quick bite & tapas size snacks - food nothing to shout about - as expected in any bars but they have a great selection of wines & port by the glass. And friendly people / service who speak good English. Great location for people watching!

Andre and his small team went out of their way to make sure my family had a fantastic wine bar experience in Portugal. The service is so personable and friendly, their knowledge on wines is super strong, their food is excellent and their attention to detail in creating really memorable experience does not go unnoticed. My family definitely will be returning for the rest of their trip, and we are sad we are leaving and will not be able to return for further nights at the bar. Cute location on the stairs. Huge selection of portugese wines. Was hard to choose and went with recommendations from our server which were spot on. (If you like white, the wine made with a pineapple was so good!) The portugese sausage they fire right in front of you and it was delicious as was the octopus. You could tell they were enthusiastic about the wine and food they serve. Highly recommend!

Amazing! We were not very hungry (had a big lunch), but still wanted some dinner and wine. The place fit the bill perfectly! We had a few small plates (sardines, cheese board), followed by an octopus to share. But it’s not just the food… the wine was truly outstanding - and the staff were really helpful to find good wine (fully bodied red, but with low acidity). There was a little hick up with getting a bill (their machine was not working), so we got two glasses of delicious port!

Amazing place, great wine and food. The place is cozy and service is friendly and fast. André (the owner and waiter) is amazing, and will make you feel at home. Eat the Chorizo Assado, it’s amazing! The shrimps are also super tasty. Allow him to choose your wine - he knows what’s a good Portuguese wine.

Amazing experience - the atmosphere, the wine, the food, the service 10/10!!! Great place to enjoy a relaxing dinner of bread, wine, cheese&meats. Order the golden cheese you won’t regret it! The wonderful woman who waited on us ran up 2 flights of stairs to return my purse to me when I left it hanging over my chair. This meant so much, as it was a vintage coin purse of my grandmother’s that I cherish. Could not recommend more!!! THANK YOU!

Stepping in for some nice wines and a little bite to eat before we were heading to the reserved restaurant. We were certainly not disappointed. Great service with a good story and some nice bites as well. I really enjoyed a lovely port, while the others tried several wines. Now I think I need to find that bottle for myself...

An amazing gem in the middle of Lisbonne! Great decoration! Amazing food! Great Staff! Price range is arround 30 euro per person including wine and starters and apero.. For an apero we had 3 mojitos! And the drinks were generous and just amazing! We had the steak and the octopus as main dishes The octopus was so tender (One of the bers I've ever had)and the steak were so generous! And we had the salmon croquetta and the chorizo.. The only reason I gave this place a 4 star was : -first of all the salmon croquetta came in a pair for 6 euros i find it a very small portion! -Second the fries were not home made! This is a very cosy wine bar! During our stay in Lisbon we visited it 3 times to have some drinks and snacks. Owners are super friendly with great attention. Definitely recommended..

Perfection! The owner is so kind and helpful. My wife and I had seven wines and all were exceptional. I've had octopus in multiple continents and this blew my mind. So delicate. We are going back at least once before we return home from vacation. Must try!

Incredible place- it’s a hidden gem! I don’t even like octopus and this was the most flavorful, tender, delicious plate of food! Then the port for dessert was out of this world! And homemade chocolate cake?!? Yes, please! I would give it 100 stars if I could!

At first, I am not good at English. The server asked for service tips after fantastic service. Although I said 10% with 2 HANDS, I think he underatand what i mean is refusing service tips. I feel really sorry to him. You should go this place. Worker's recommended wines are amazing. Also food is good.
