Dare I say…life changing?! The porcolento left us breathless!! The provolone, and all dishes for that matter, were perfect. I had the provolone, nearly fell out of my chair, ordered the provolone a second time, fell out of my chair AGAIN, decided to play it cool by not ordering a third provolone. But then, it haunted my dreams and fully occupied my mind the entire next day. I went back to Sucolento for the second night in a row and again had the provolone, among other delicious dishes, again!! Truly everything blew me away. AMAZING food and a must-try restaurant in Lisbon. Also, the staff were delightful! They were friendly and educated us on the dishes. Truly experts in their craft. 10/10 - an above and beyond dining experience!

Highly recommend. Excellent service, casual but upscale atmosphere, and wonderful food. Decent wine list. Porcolento is so tender and flavorful. Definitely would make a reservation as the place seems to always be full.

Delicious food! I have tried grilled cheese as a starter, which is big portion. It was nice, but not breath-taking. However, the tuna tataki was amazing!Have not had as good as this one for a while. The service is ok. Price wise is good!

This restaurant and its staff would deserve a 10 out of 5 stars!!! I’ve celebrated my birthday in this place and I have to say it was the best restaurant option in this city I could have chosen for this event. Fantastic food!! Starters, main dishes and deserts were all perfect and right on point. Incredibly great value for money!! My highlight were the two lovely ladies that were serving and hosting us that evening! Super friendly, helpful and funny and I would always end up visiting again, not only because of the great food but because of the outstanding service experience! Keep up the great work everyone! You are fantastic and you made this evening for my family and myself very unique and special!!! Thank you so much!

Highly recommended. We didn’t have to wait long for our meals. Everything was very tasteful. Service was careful and friendly. Try the tuna. Best choice.

NOT RECOMMENDED We ordered the sirloin with Portuguese sauce and seared tuna. The steak was so-so and a bit overcooked, which made it slightly chewy in texture. The seared tuna was super salty that I couldn’t finish it at all. The place didn’t have the air-con so we have been sweating while having lunch. This is not acceptable given the price. Service-wise - A staff said OMG while seeing us paying cash. Not sure what he meant but that’s not very polite from a customer perspective.

Been here couple of days ago with my boyfriend. We didn’t have a reservation, we just checked the restaurant on google maps and were immediately attracted to it. The waitress was super kind and gave us a table anyways. We ordered as starters pica pau (excellent) and some delicious pimientos de patron. Then, as main course we had the porcolento (slow-cooked pork with cous cous and coleslaw salad) and beef steak with Portuguese sauce and French fries. Everything was very nice and tasty. I strongly recommend this place if you want to try typical meat-based portoguese cuisine. And btw I absolutely loved how the waitress welcomed us and contribuire to this amazing dinner!

We found this place through Google and didn't have many expectations initially. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. All of this at very reasonable prices. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Their serving is really generous considering the price! The place is a bit farther from the more touristy areas so it was easier to get seats. Highly recommending the fresh tuna. The couscous is also great with the porcolento. Overall great spot.

A great menu with meat/poultry/fish dishes a few starters and deserts, good options of drinks and wine. The food is delicious and fresh, classic Portuguese food with an elegant touch. We came here last week for a late dinner, the waitress was very friendly and explained the menu to us in English. Simple and nice decoration and lighting. Best restaurant we tried during our stay in Lisboa, would definitely come back.

Delightful restaurant with reasonable prices. The service was fantastic and food delicious. We had their slow cooked pork dish as well as several appetizers. The wines were very nice also. I would go back here again and again!

The waiting staff were the best I've had in a long while. Hospitable, funny and informative about the food. We enjoyed the food immensely. Everything was well cooked and well portioned. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a simple place to eat, go here. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t “waw” either. I had the chicken breast, which was alright, not really for me. But it wasn’t bad at all just mediocre. My partner had the steak which he enjoyed, he ordered it red and got it red which he was really happy about. We shared the nachos and those were so sad. I’ve never seen such bland nachos, a customer next to us also ordered them and they had the same look on they’re face we had when we first saw it. To drink we had sangria and coke which was good. The service was alright, the waiter didn’t really hear me when I ordered a croquette so I didn’t get him. But i dont blame him, it could’ve been the language barrier.

The sirloin steak was perfectly done the fries and the Cocktail's been Superb. The chocolate cake is probably something I'd order among the things I'd order for my last meal on death row... It's recommended to reserve a table. Difficult at peak times to get a place without being very charming 😉 Overall nice experience! Thanks again!

The food was good but not amazing. We tried the porcolento and croquetas and they tasted good but were not the best pulled pork and croquetas we had. The sangria was really good but was not the best I had. Maybe we came with way too high expectación to this place since it was highly recommended. The service was really nice. Everyone was friendly and attentive even when the place was completely full. The atmosphere was nice. It is a small place and gets crowded but it has a good vibe. I recommend to reserve if you want to go to Sucolento. Prices were good for the quality and amount of food.

Place always looked crowded so decided to try it with a reservation for 7pm. First one there and by 7:30pm, the tables were nearly full. Ordered a gazpacho & sucolento special of pulled pork, couscous, & coleslaw. The gazpacho was grainy in texture and not quite smooth like I'm used to. The pulled pork came...well...unpulled so you have to shred it yourself and there's not enough sauce so it felt dry to eat with the couscous. The couscous was fragrant. The coleslaw was the best thing in this meal. And trying to get my check to leave took longer than expected for such a small restaurant.

Super hyvää pihviä ja seurana maukasta punaviiniä! Lisäkseni vain muutama henkilö ja ehkä tästä syystä oli palvelu todella nopeaa. Hyvää musiikkia ja auttavainen henkilökunta.

Tried the porcolento and the chocolate cake. The porcolento is famous in this restaurant and colour me impressed. The pulled pork is tender and tasty, coleslaw is excellent too. Couscous was well cooked and flavourful. As for the chocolate cake, texture is unique - the inside is gooey and the surface is soft and moist. Defo worth a try if you are dining in this restaurant!

5 stars for price x service x quality of food ratio. The Porcolento was amazing, I will return and highly recommend. I even feel slightly guilty about putting this review as there is not that much table compared to the demand of how many people eat here, so come early or book in advance :).

Perfect place, from the service, to the design, music, and obviously the food. I took the sirloin with the Portuguese sauce, and for the desert the lemon mousse. Very tasty and well made! Would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.

We had a great evening here. The restaurant is quite cosy despite the high ceiling and nicely decorated. The food here is very reasonably priced and was really tasty with a good portion size. The evening was made all the more memorable by our server Mara who was a real character and really built a buzz in the room. It is good value for money and I would definately book again.

Very unassuming restaurant but it offered a really fun dining experience and some really good food... The owner was short staffed on the day, but he didn't disappoint, and kept us entertained with his stories...

The best restaurant I have been to! Everything was perfect, delicious food and drinks and outstanding customer service! An absolute must visit in Lisbon!

This restaurant had a 4,7 stars rating when we visited and eaten there. If I could I would give at least 6 1/2 stars. We went there on a Friday night without a reservation and got a table for two. The service was extraordinarily warm and heartfelt, the food and the drinks were amazing! And to top it off the prices were insanely cheap. Even if they were twice as high you would feel like robbing them. So do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant when you are in Lisbon!
