I'm not vegetarian and I wanted to try this place as i was curious with their food when i see on Google maps. When i entered their place, the delicious smell welcomed me and I knew that i took the right decision to come here :) The staff was very helpful and speaks English. They help me to choose the food. Each of the food they brought were very delicious and well made. At the end of the experience i was surprised that i feel full with tasty food. I added the photo of their menu so you can check the prices. If you are around don't miss this place.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, tasty and creative, and there are plenty of great vegan options. The staff are friendly, it's good value for money, and the portion sizes will not leave you still hungry! I will definitely return.

What a great find this was! Its a smaller restaurant with most of the seating outside, and during the lunch rush there's a small wait (around 10-15mins) but its totally worth it! The owners are lovely and friendly, and the food is next level delicious! I never knew hummus could be so fluffy and creamy! I had the vegan bowl (pictured) and couldn't recommend that enough. The best part of this restaurant for me is that it's all gluten free- the food isn't pretending to be anything it's not, and it's all the more delicious for it. Find your way over here if you're ever in the area!

After seeing the glowing reviews, we were surprised by how disappointing this restaurant was. The only thing we enjoyed was the soup :( . Most of the dishes could’ve benefitted from better seasoning, perhaps some salt and garlic. The gluten free substitutes could’ve been better. We had consistently been impressed by the GF options in Europe until this place. Nothing was very filling and the cheese bread left a bad after taste.

The owner is very busy but still very friendly. There offer both vegan and meaty dishes, so everyone can find their favorites here. The menu is small but the food is very good. I tried lentil bowl and banana cake today. Both are tasty and I can feel their high quality ingredient

So blissed to have visited this restaurant. It's not a vegan restaurant but they offer vegan-friendly dishes. I'M VEGAN BREAD - €5 It takes 10mins to prepare, but it worths the time. The breads tastes like mochi, very chewy and soft. Chocolate Cake - €2.2 I haven't eaten chocolate cake since I became a vegan! I have nothing more to comment on this cake but a 10/10!! We also ordered long coffee and juice of the day, what a pleasant morning! 😊

This place is wonderful! The owner is so nice and friendly, he explained us all the dishes in perfect english! We had the soup of the day, the mini brunch with a hummus tapioca, the tapioca with mozzarella, tomatoes and avocado and of course the cheese bread! Would recommend all of them! The acai smoothie was simply perfect. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting lisbon!

This place is amazing!! Everything is gluten free, but you wouldn't know it by tasting it. The little cheese breads are honestly one of the best gluten free things I've ever tasted. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. 100% recommended!

As native English speaking celiacs it can be difficult to trust 100% that your food will be gluten free. This restaurant has the best gluten free food I've ever eaten. Will be back as many times as we can over our holiday. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food is put of the this world. Large portion sizes and good value. Couldn't recommend more highly

one of THE BEST vegan meals I've ever had. We ordered 3 vegan meals and they were all delicious and savoury, and balanced in taste. Tapioca crepes were a surprise. A completely gluten free restaurant but you don't really feel a difference. They have sugar free, vegan, homemade ice creams, snicker bar, truffles too 😊😊 Definitely a must visit

My only regret is that I found this place on my last day in Lisbon. I purchased a piece of corn cake with coconut and peanut butter to eat later on in the day. I love cornbread: it was moist, slightly sweet and delicious cornbread with peanut butter icing finished with salt. Sounds a little odd, but it was perfect! I wish I had purchased more of their items, but you never know with gluten-free whether it’s going to be great or terrible. This place is amazing!

Small place. Has outdoor tables. Unassuming yet their veggie plates tastes amazing. Not full flavored as in regular food, but busting with natural flavor is the organic (I assume) produce. Clean taste of nature. I had the daily special, quinoa risotto with arugula and some powdered grains and nuts. Packed a punch in flavors. Love it! Did not feel bloated after the meal. Server was patient and food was served quick.

Best vegan bowl I’ve had anywhere in the world. The chicken pesto caprese was excellent as well. We were sitting outside when a rainstorm blew in and the staff was awesome about getting us to an inside table.

Very cool and chill place to have breakfast or lunch at, recommend to stop by. They have few tables outside so it is not crowded and has very nice vibe. The food was excellent and they offer multiple vegetarian and vegan dishes or offer to exchange eggs for tofu etc. :) The smoothies are to die for honestly best one I had in a long time ♥️ The server was extremely nice and friendly and asked about any dietarin restructions..the food came quickly and together - perfect place for calm breakfast! 🌞

Lovely little Celiac friendly restaurant, my wife loved that she could have anything on the menu! She got the vegetarian salad and I had the chicken curry in the crepe. Topped off with a slice of corn and peanut butter cake and snickers bar. Delicious food, lovely staff, highly recommended

  • 5/5 Amber P. 3 years ago on Google
Wonderful food and brilliant, friendly service. We were informed that the whole menu was gluten free and there were plenty of vegan options. It was one of the most delicious and different meals I've had in a while! Tofu bowls and vegan cheese breads. We also had hummus and a lovely smoothie 😊 Great prices too and large servings. Highly recommend!

Small restaurant in Lisbon. Perfect for a healthy lunch. They also serve delicious brunch. Two tables inside and three outside. The waiters are nice and they speak English and Spanish. The menu is also in English. Not very touristy so the prices are perfect. If you are in a group you might want to call for a reservation. Paying methods are with euros cash only or Portuguese credit card. Definitely to go more than once.

We went on the hunt for an authentic breakfast place. Our first option was closed until 12PM. Therefore had to find an alternative. It was a great solution, particularly if you looking for healthy choices. I guess we were also looking for a hearty breakfast 😊 All in all, a great place to have #glutennfree bread, #eggs, natural fruit juice, and a nice gluten free banana muffin.

(Translated by Google) It is the perfect place for people who do not tolerate gluten and not because everything is gluten free, but because it is very good. I ate a plate of Indian rice, which was the dish of the day that was quite abundant and a delicious dessert brownie. Value for money, unbeatable. And the service, a ten too: the waiter is very friendly. The only downside could be the natural juice I had that was a little watery for my liking.

As a portuguese I am positively surprised with how good these pasteis de nata are and how close to the original ones are. They are so authentic and delicious! Incredible Pastel de Natas! I am allergic to eggs and this vegan pastel is a godsend! Asked my mum and fiancée to see whether they approve, in comparison to other traditional ones, and they said it was the best pastel they had ever eaten! So great for people with allergies, vegan or people after an amazing pastel de natas!

A neat little place for a much needed break from walking around Lisbon. As the nata is a must try in Portugal I was ecstatic to find a vegan nata place. The neighborhood is quiet and bedazzled with tile facades old buildings. Definitely a must for all of you vegan explorers. Get a tiny cup of hot cocoa with your vegan nata and enjoy !

  • 5/5 Giuliana A. 4 years ago on Google
What an ingenious idea to open a vegan pastel de nata store! As a vegan specimen I’d like to thank the mastermind behind it, hehe! Lisbon was in dire need of a place like this — before going to Vegan Nata I don’t think I had tasted a vegan pastel de nata as good as (if not better than) the real thing. Kudos! Their coffee is also great and service super friendly – just note the minimum amount for cards is 5€

What a great place! The 'pastel de nata' is really good, tasty, delicate, even better if you try with sugar and/or cinnamon. The vegan chocolate is thick, creamy, I just don't like that it's made of soy milk, as I don't like the taste of it (but it's personal taste). For sure will be back. 😊😋

I went there today and had the Gazpacho soup, the Quinoa Chicken salad and almond coconut cake with lemon mousse. The food was delicious and well flavored and by far exceeded my expectations. Amazing what comes out of this small kitchen! The people were super friendly and I wish I could go back tomorrow! Nobody was smoking which also was a big plus!

I happened to be walking the streets of Lisbon nearby my hotel. Always looking for a place to eat with fresh food and vegetarian options. The sign, "The Food for Real" intrigued me, so this is where I sat. What a lovely experience. Well prepared vegan options, along with some meat entries so that everyone can eat. Fresh juice. Chatted with the owner, Ugo. Absolutely delightful place to eat. Definitely give it a try.

Amazing for anyone with dietary needs, likes yummy food and friendly service! Being gluten intolerant and vegan finding food is a challenge but this place made me feel at home with so many options it was hard to choose. Everything was delicious and a good price. Recommend! 🤗

Love this place! They just launched their new menu which includes this brunch with waffles made from pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). The granola was awesome. This place is perfect if you’re vegan or gluten free, but I’m not either I just love when plant-based food tastes great. :)

Economic, fantastic salmon sad and cheese bread. Wish breakfast ended a bit later though. The iced coffee was a bit strange in my opinion though. Very syrupy.

Great little place for brunch or lunch. Plenty of veggie and vegan options. The cheese bread is very cheesy btw.

Staff was very friendly. We both had the vegan cheese toast which consisted of toast with a cashew cream-like spread and cherry tomatoes. Tasty and filling. Energy smoothie was very nice as well. We took slices of the vegan banana bread with us to eat late, that was very enjoyable as well. Everything is gluten free.

It’s worth the walk! No tourist trap, there were plenty of Portuguese eating here. Honestly one of the loveliest services I ever had in Portugal, authentic hospitality, great smiles, very willing to communicate. Food is great and will be served very quick even if the place is busy, cosy and bubbly athmosphere even if you are on your own it will not feel like. I had a tapioca which is a very large portion (they offered a to go box), kombucha (super fizzy, very nice), cappuccino (comes with cinnamon) and a cornbread to go for later. They also sell the seeds they put on their salad so I can tape some of that flavor home. It’s a great spot and you will not regret your visit.

We were waiting for our piri piri chicken takeout nearby and decided to have coffee and some small bites here. Had the special lunch set, banana bread, chocolate mousse cake and cappuccino and each one exceeded our expectations. Great service too. The owners speak excellent English and are very kind and accommodating.

We had a lovely lunch at this small place. The staff was very friendly and the food was tasty. Lots of vegan and gluten-free options. I had the vegan bowl, which was good (I loved the hummus) and the risotto was “approved” ;)

We had a great lunch here while visiting Lisbon! My boyfriend has celiac disease and not only was the entire menu gluten free, but the dishes and ingredients were fresh and delicious. The orange cake is to die for and little touches like cinnamon and coca on the cappuccinos made the food and drink a little extra delicious and special. The owner was also our server and was so kind and attentive - you can tell how much love and effort goes into everything here!

We were looking for a gluten free restaurant and were lucky to find this one. The owner was very kind and polite. The food was really great. The best gazpacho we had so far and delicious Hummus. We really recommend to give it a go, even if you are not gluten intolerant. If you don't know you wouldn't notice the difference.
